Celebrated my 60th birthday here with 27 people. We had a BBQ that was perfectly prepared. Neat plates everywhere for gluten-free, vegetarian, etc. There was delicious salmon, spare ribs, hamburgers, chicken satay with sauce. Sandwiches, fries, pasta salad, regular salad, quinoa salad, grilled vegetables and all kinds of sauces. Everyone was very pleased with the food, they all enjoyed it. The service was perfect. The space we were allocated was also great. Just like the weather. All in all a beautiful location to celebrate your party.

Beautiful ambiance, delicious food. Which is very nice, my daughter-in-law and granddaughter are not allowed to eat gluten. This is treated very seriously and gives you a familiar feeling.

De Botanie is an attractive and beautifully decorated restaurant with delicious food. The service is very friendly and helpful. They take any dietary requirements into account very carefully. Please indicate dietary requirements in advance. I was able to eat gluten-free, lactose-free and garlic-free (onion and garlic) here. They had come up with tasty dishes themselves that belonged to the current menu. Only dessert was not possible for me due to the many dietary requirements. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Thank you!

Excellent restaurant! The food is great (gluten free bread available), the service is efficient and the location is beautiful. We really enjoyed our lunch and had a great spot in the sunshine with a view of the beach and well protected from the wind. Well worth a visit!

Simply great! We received a very friendly welcome and our dog was given treats straight away. Very nice, harmoniously furnished location. The service and kitchen team took care of gluten-free alternatives for me. We had the 3-course menu and it was really delicious and varied for the palate!

Good burgers, with different kind of meals and good flavour. The service is very kind, and the place is nice. They have gluten free bread and that is really worthy. I will only suggest to add more of each ingredient to make the burgers bigger.

A popular gem of a cafe with Italian inspired menu of rolls, flat breads, tosties and excellent deserts. With gluten free bread and good vegetarian options this place is great for a casual lunch or a coffee with friends.

Prices are way too high for what you get. A cheese board for 14 euros, for which you get 5 small pieces of cheese, some walnuts, a spoonful of compote and 2 hard pieces of currant bread. A gluten-free lunch is also ridiculous: 2 mini sandwiches and some raw vegetables for a ridiculous price. Very unfortunate, while the prices at other Valk restaurants are better in proportion.

We ate together with our friends from Drenthe. Unfortunately it was very busy on Saturday and we sat at the table for more than 3.5 hours and only received food twice... this was a shame because our friends still had to go back to Drenthe so we went home hungry. The chef did make ad hoc food for our gluten-free friend, which was very nice! In addition, what we ate was very tasty! The service was also very friendly, but the restaurant was too full for what they could handle. We will come back again on a weekday evening.

Last Saturday I had a high tea with friends and family for my 50th birthday. Because of one friend who absolutely cannot eat gluten, I made a reservation with NY because of the good, reliable name. This friend became terribly ill due to cross-contamination. In addition, the ordering of drinks was very poorly organized. We got cappuccino in a thermos. We had never seen this before! Then it is no longer cappuccino. Hotel New York should be deeply ashamed of putting this on the table! The tea had to be ordered per cup, which resulted in a long wait for a drink. I left the table at least 3 times to indicate that an order had already been waiting for more than 10 minutes. It was very disappointing for me as it was quite an expense to organize this high tea and then the organization of Hotel New York is so poor. Finally, I am still waiting for the refund because there were fewer people than paid for. I always enjoyed coming to you both privately and for work, but I'm done with it now!

An ordinary weekday. It's packed. I'm there for the first time. I indicated when booking that I have a gluten-free and lactose-free diet. While we study the menu, the waitress brings gluten-free bread and regular bread with spreads. This appears to be a free service. My choice of menu was actively considered and consulted with the chef. The food is so delicious that I understand that the restaurant is completely full. Dessert is also on the agenda. Because they think it's sad that there is nothing on the menu that is suitable for my diet. I think the dessert I get, two scoops of sorbet ice cream with fruit, is a full-fledged dessert and they get a big tip and a big compliment. Cheers!

Last Friday evening we had dinner at Hart Beach. One of my guests has Celiac disease, which means that you cannot eat gluten except trace amounts. My guest ordered the vegan Flank steak, which states both on the menu and online that it can be gluten-free. As a precaution, my guest repeatedly asked whether it was really gluten-free, both when ordering and when receiving the dish. This was repeatedly confirmed. However, halfway through the meal, doubts started to arise because one of my other guests tasted it and didn't trust it. To be sure, we asked again and it turned out that it did indeed contain gluten. The second ingredient on the package was wheat protein, which means gluten. The manager was called in, but did not make any suggestions to resolve the matter. He was mainly concerned with what it would mean for him. My guest had to ask for a new dish, which only came to the table an hour later. The waiter was very shocked and fortunately did his best to make amends and removed the dish from the bill and offered a free drink. For the record: this review is not about getting money back or anything. Unfortunately, my guest became very ill later that evening, with a lot of vomiting, and is still not feeling well. It is now Sunday. The reason for this review is to warn people with Celiac Disease and to ask Hart Beach to immediately revise the menu, or immediately replace the gluten-free dish and check whether the gluten-free claims they make are actually correct. After all, I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

Excellent service - the staff is always warm and friendly. Great coffee and the best scrambled eggs! They offer many gluten-free options, with a seeded bun as a replacement. They also have a lovely co-working space at the back, ideal for freelancers, which makes this cafe truly unique!

Brunch on Sunday in March for a birthday. In advance, they asked twice if there were gluten-free vegetarian options. Confirmed twice and said that a lot is possible. Unfortunately, I could eat very little at the brunch. None of the staff took the time to explain and it came down to the fact that I could only eat soup, loose lettuce and a slice of gluten-free bread. Very disappointed. The restaurant really didn't arrange anything. Fine if that doesn't work, but be honest about that when you call about it.
