Not the best experience. Our waitress gave us indifferent answers about how the gluten free food is prepared. We ended up having to talk to the manager (which is something I hate asking for). The food ended up being okay and I didn’t have any reaction. It was nice to have gluten free mac and cheese! I think our experience would’ve been much better if we had a more educated waitress

We came here with my wife's parents for mother's Day dinner, and we had a great time. Our waitress was Edna and she was great! Due to a Celiac allergy, we felt comfortable with Edna 's knowledge of what was safe to eat and her recommendations were spot on, and we had some awesome food and a great time celebrating mother's Day. We highly recommend this place.

Food is excellent, lots of gluten free options suitable for someone with celiac. Service is great, but it's very loud and overly crowded. Tables are extremely close and people are often yelling at each other, which isn't how I like to brunch. If you go early it's not as bad.

Maggiano was great! Not only was the food delicious, the service was excellent. I had the chicken saltimbocca. When seated, the waiter asked about if anyone had any food sensitivities and I’m severely gluten intolerant. He then invited the chef to come out to talk to me about my allergies/ sensitivity which was pleasantly surprising. Most chefs never do that. Overall, my boyfriend and I had a great time eating here. I’ll definitely come back again the next time I get to visit Chicago.

Cool date night spot. Options for everyone! I am gluten free (intolerance not allergy) and had no issues. I really loved Madai and I always love me some Chicago RAW. It was really nice to have the greenhouse-like glass roof above us, but I felt like some nice ambient music would have been a good addition. The service is was very polite and speedy.

Excellent cider and food. As a celiac it was wonderful to have so many gluten free options. I tried the cauliflower wings, fried pickles, shrimp and grits, and paella. All were excellent, but if I had to choose the paella was the standout. Trying many ciders the Vibes from the Orchard and E-phoria were the standouts. Both were uniquely flavorful, crisp, and not overly sweet. We sat outside as a group of 7 with little kids and they had a blast moving about outside, but service was slow.

First issue was the lack of understanding of celiac. I get that my fiancée having a disease is our limitation but this restaurant was supposed to be good about it. We explained about how even cross contamination makes her sick and the 2nd thing we ordered was brought out and when we asked if it was fried (Brussel Sprouts) they said yes and we asked if it was a shared fryer and they said yes. So she couldn’t eat it. (When we already explained that she would get sick from cross contamination, this was a major oversight by the waiter). They also had very small portions of the pasta dishes and the prices were way higher than they should be given the quality of food being just okay. Really disappointed overall.

Food taste good, service is also good. The table where we were seat was kinda of small. Prices seem to be kind of high and they also charge you 20% upfront for the service. They don't offer gluten-free toast or pancakes.

The miso soup was great and started the meal off on a high. Sadly the sushi course was disappointing. The fish was mediocre at best (saba and medai), uni was bland, avocado in my roll was not ripe. Too much rice on the nigiri and overcooked. Tea was tasty and refilled regularly. They had gluten-free soy and were communicative about gluten in dishes. Service was great. Sadly it was overpriced for the quality of the food being served. Won’t be going back.

We had a party of 13 people 3 of them children age ranging 2 years to only a few months. Our server Shannon was a rock star. Very friendly, very helpful when it came to a couple friend’s dietary needs, and all around great service. The food was also excellent. My wife has Celiacs diease and their gluten free crust combined with the kitchen staffs attention to not cross contaminating was a big plus for us. We will definitely be returning!

Gluten Free Goodness after a show at the RIV! Sorry I was so hungry I forgot to take pics. They altered the brussels sprouts to make them gluten-free and they were amazing! I got three tacos: a chicken, steak, and duck. I ate the duck first because not everyone does duck very well and I didn’t want to end with it, however, I should have because the duck was the best of the three. The chicken was my second favorite, and I could have done without the steak… It was too well done and not much flavor. However, my friend did get a steak and that looked fabulous. The service was great, and the ambience was dark and charming.

I attended a baby shower held in the private back room of The Range. A delicious gluten free brunch buffet was served. Everything was hot and tasty. Especially loved the turnip omelets. I love trying new dishes. The service was spot on.

My first time here I tried the Chicago Burger I was so excited to find a gluten free spot and so happy the food was so delicious . You can't tell the difference the burger was plant based and tasted just like a grilled burger. Certainly not the last time I'll be back for the chicken sandwich and banana split. All gluten Free ! ❤️

I’ve given this place multiple chances since I like eating local and it has good reviews and clean eating, but have always been disappointed. The food is always room temperature or slightly cold and not very good. Coupled with the poor service and relatively high prices, I can’t justify being back. This last time I had seen a review praising the gluten free pancakes, but I have to disagree as they had a strong fake sugar aftertaste.

The salmon and shrimp risotto was perfectly prepared and delicious. My partner got the Venetian Chicken Salad and it was also amazing. Presentation was beautiful and the dining room is elegant and not noisy even when busy. Our waitress was very attentive and our meals were served quickly even though the restaurant was busy and had a large private group. Everything was wonderful. There are many gluten free choices including pastas, pizzas, risottos, seafood, and steak options.

Love Big Bowl! It was awesome to find a Big Bowl location in Lincolnshire while traveling. As usual, I had the Chef’s Choice stir fry and it was delicious. It was my birthday, and our waiter brought out a candle with our gluten free chocolate cake dessert which was a fun feature. It’s always a treat eating here! Highly recommend to anyone who loves Thai food! Just wish they would bring back the build your own stir fry bar. It’s been gone since Covid.

Must visit if you follow a gluten free diet, must visit even if you don't! My husband and I came here for brunch on our way out of town because of their plethora of gluten free options. I was pleasantly surprised they were serving brunch so I could get the gluten free fried chicken sandwich. It was the most heavenly gluten free food I've had anywhere, ever. The chicken was perfectly crispy, the gf bun was AMAZING. Truly didn't feel like it was gluten free, held together really well and wasn't a super dense puck of bread like other buns. My husband also got the fried chicken sandwich, with gluten, and loved it as well. I also got the gf avocado toast to go and loved it even a few hours later when I finally got hungry enough to eat it. We also got the red mimosa (perfect) bloody mary (amazing) and a drip coffee. Everything was truly outstanding and we will most definitely be coming back when in Chicago again. 10/5 stars.

as a party of 5 we ordered marinated cucumbers, crab rangoons, dry-fried green beans, combo fried rice, dry chili chicken, sweet and sour shrimp, and gluten free rolled noodles! we all ordered different cocktails and loved them all - smoke rings was delish. we had a gluten free friend at the table and they were great about allergies! with a cocktail + 7 plates + dessert it was less than $50/each. cant wait to come back and ordered as many new dishes as possible. flavors here are incredible!

Wow! First time dining in. Attended a KofC fundraiser, and I was impressed. Really cool family atmosphere. Place was pretty packed, service was awesome, Italian beef on the best gluten free toasted (HUGE) bun I have ever had and was outstanding, wife had the meatball sandwich, which was awesome!!! Our server was excellent! We shall be back! Their atmosphere is awesome and the food even better. Was impressed on the go to orders going out the door!

Classic 80s vibe with a solid menu. Great for a quick bite or a last stop after the bar. Plenty of Gluten free options were a huge win for us and the Animal Fries seemed a bit scary on the menu but we're sooo good.

Our group of 22 had a wonderful dinner and evening at Mio Modo! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Brian and the other staff were kind, efficient snd attentive. Personally, I present a challenge to restaurants because I am plant-based and gluten free plus no/minimal oil, but totally enjoyed the lentil/spinach dish. A beautiful array of desserts were served at the end, and I was especially grateful for the surprise serving of a delicious raspberry sorbet as the staff had obviously understood my limitations! Gluten free soups and regular sandwiches.. 00 beer and Coors light and a bloody Mary! Salad was very fresh and learned music art was from the Skidmore gallery! The Skidmore was not open but will look online!
