Waiting staff were pleasant. Good job they were taking food orders via app although had to order at the bar for vegan/ gluten free option which was an inconvenience given the lack of staff serving at the bar aswell, which took a while due to lack of staff hence food arriving well after everyone else's. Ordered a Korean burger which was dry and overpriced for the portion size .very disappointed. Vibrant atmosphere but food lacked quality.

On a date night, we popped in for some small plates to share with a glass of fizz. I've never been a fan of the hipster-themed dining experience but that's just personal preference. The place was very quiet for a Friday afternoon/evening and for some reason we were seated as far away from the door as was possible, right next to the window (lovely for people-watching on the Hayes) but also right next to the blinds' drawstring, and at some point a server came to pull the blinds down - we protested - and had to lean over my partner to reach. Anyway, apart from that the table was nice, service was quick. My partner has food intolerances and is a careful eater. We asked the server about their food and he wasn't certain, and had to go to the kitchen several times to check. Even when we thought he had it straight he kept coming back to check and recheck he understood our requirements, which is surely diligent but was bordering on fussy, and it became quite awkward for us, to the point we just said not to worry. We then had a manager come across to check again, and eventually managed to find three dishes from the gluten free menu which had neither soya or dairy in them. The food was decent, but the experience was uncomfortable. I can't fault the servers for triple-checking they had the info correct. I do wish it had taken maybe two or three trips to the kitchen fewer to establish the facts! Still, nice quiet meal, lovely view (when the blinds were up), a nice place to be for a couple of hours.

All of their burgers are gluten free, you just have to ask for a gluten free bun. Their onion rings and fries are also gluten free & they have gluten free beer too! A coeliac must try!

Everything about this restaurant is fabulous, Ellen who looked after us went above and beyond, she was friendly, helpful with gluten free options and very professional keeping everyone happy on a very busy service. The food was gorgeous, highly recommend the gf fish and chips but I have to say the absolute treat was the gluten free lamb suet pudding starter - it was devine, I'd actually drive 2 hours from home in Worcestershire to come and dine with you again - well done everyone, keep up the fantastic work, other restaurants can learn alot from you 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

I have been to a few of the restaurants owned by “The lounge” and everytime I have been glutened I’ve had to ask about so many things on the GF menu even the coleslaw which by the way at the time wasn’t gluten free….the food is always amazing however I feel the risk is quite high for coeliacs like myself….

A good restaurant, part of the lounge range, so if you've been to one of the others you'll get a similar experience. Good range of gluten free foods (menu on their website), pretty quick service. Plenty of seats, no need to book.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Bill's in Cardiff Bay. We turned up without a reservation and despite the place being quite busy, we were seated promptly and drinks orders taken quickly. I'm Coeliac which means boring gluten free dining, but in Bill's there is a whole gf menu so I didn't feel left out. I had the Fish Pie and Banoffee Sundae, both of which were different from usual gf options. They also did a gf IPA which I wasn't very keen on but nice to have the option. We were served by Gabriel. He's an absolute treasure. If you're gf, you should deffo give the place a try!

Very disappointed with healthy choices, no salad apart from crispy beef in sticky chilli sauce, hardly a salad. I was told that chef couldn’t make me a salad if it’s not on the menu, I asked for a celiac meal, or if the chef could do some plain chicken, the waitress said that they have no chicken on the menu, offered a steak sandwich, that a could scrap the meat out of the bread or maybe a wrap and do the same, if I wanted a salad the only way to do this was to order a side salad and add to a starter or get some chips. No knowledge of what a celiac disease is…. Lovely place such a shame the menu is so unhealthy

For a small cafe, as a Coeliac, this was a great find. There was a selection of cakes, instead of the usual one! And the staff were really helpful and willing to go the extra mile to provide food that I wanted all at a price that was reasonable and in line with the food containing gluten. Other places would do well to note! Thanks to the staff!

Exceptional Service at Merthyr Subway! I visited the Merthyr Subway on February 24th and was blown away by the outstanding service provided by the staff. I requested a gluten-free roll, and the staff member immediately changed gloves, wrapped the tray, and oven with paper to ensure my order's safety. Their willingness to go above and beyond made my experience truly memorable. From start to finish, the staff member was incredibly pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend this Subway location for their exceptional service and attention to customer needs!

Everything on the menu is gluten free which was a revelation for my husband who has coeliac disease. Also good vegetarian options for me. The food was excellent and service was really friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. We will return.

Lovely little take-away shop. Beautiful smells coming from the shop when you come near. The pizzas were perfect! They even do gluten free pizzas which made me so happy. We enjoyed our pizzas (and one baguette) on one of the picknick tables nearby, with the amazing sea view. Best lunch of our 4-week holiday in England and Wales.

Staff were extremely helpful, friendly and their food is great and reasonably priced. Also very accommodating to allergies, especially gluten allergies. Had the small breakfast (not small, trust me) very nice bacon, well cooked egg, sausages were nice and the toast was the thickest I've ever seen. Will be coming back here again.

DO NOT GO HERE.....If you have dietary needs don't go here, my wife is gluten intolerant (makes her violently ill, eldest is autistic with ADHD and egg, wheat and milk intolerant (makes her behaviour more extreme) my youngest is milk intolerant. 2 times we have tried this outlet, and 2 times they have had violent reactions due to the visible cross contamination continuously going on between the staff

Walked into the Swansea Union Street branch, to have the option of Gluten Free is so vital for me, so enjoyed my Chicken Caesar Salad 6" Roll with a Latte Coffee, also being handed an Allergens Leaflet to keep personally, which is so useful. I travel for work quite a lot, so this Leaflet will be kept for future use 😋😊👍

Called in as they advertised Gluten Free available. They use gf rolls & cleaned work surface thoroughly before making my order. Lady who served me was knowledgeable about GF & we had a long chat about various rolls, breads & wraps that I can have. Wide range of fillings & lots of combinations available. Absolutely great find. GF people, we don't have to go hungry!!
