In one word, amazing!!! We walked for 25 minutes to get to this Gluten free café and it was well worth the pilgrimage. We had lunch there. My partner enjoyed her beautiful vegetable sandwich with cheese and I had a delicious quiche. The pastries were exquisite. If you are gluten free this is a must see, must taste destination :)

Had high hopes after reading the reviews, but unfortunately the food didn’t quite live up to the hype. We had to queue for a while with little communication from the staff, who seemed more focused on clearing tables than managing the line. Things did improve once we were seated, and service picked up. I went for the gluten-free pancakes, which were disappointingly dry—possibly just a bad choice on my part, as the regular ones looked better. The granola, however, was incredibly sweet—too much so for any of us to finish. Worth noting: you can’t order just one dish. The set menu requires you to pick both a savoury and a sweet pancake (amongst other things!), so make sure you arrive hungry!

A gorgeous little cozy cafe that’s a must try if you’re in Lyon! Plenty of gluten free options savoury and sweet - including pancakes which are a highlight! The coffee and other flavoured lattes are amazing too! The staff are always friendly and smiling!

Very nice coffee! Good food, nice presentation, vege-vegan! Gluten-free options. Drinks available in vegetable milk at no extra cost! Welcoming, helpful and efficient team. You can stay on site to work, read, knit or other outside peak hours. The team will kindly notify you before these hours if you need to vacate the place. Cozy, clean, parents friendly (large changing table in the toilets). Ethical and organic products, zero waste approach firmly in place: real plates and cutlery, cloth napkins, food to take away in returnable boxes, compost… I will come back with pleasure each time I visit Lyon

The food options weren't that varied and the "galleries" didn't add much to the meal, the meal as a whole was still delicious though. The galettes were gluten free, but rather than making gluten free crepes they used galettes for the dessert as well, which was a bit disappointing, but it's good they at least have the option. Very polite staff, but service could've been slightly faster. A great experience overall.

I've been coming to the place for years, and I never get tired of it. The dishes change frequently and the cuisine is original, often with vegan AND gluten-free adaptations. One of the few places where I order from starter to dessert with drinks. The compositions are sometimes enhanced with a remarkable salty or sweet granola, and the menu offers fresh juices and colorful chai. I also keep in mind their generous banana bread with chocolate chips :P Flawless, well done to the team, and thank you for their welcome!

Essential place for celiacs in Lyon. I found it very difficult to eat gluten free in the city. Luckily there was the crêperie d'Amélie that made gluten-free galettes, both sweet and savory.

Excellent place for brunch, it was my sister who introduced me to it and who had already known about it for a while. Thank you for the lactose-free and gluten-free options, we find so few of them in restaurants and yet it is so much more digestible for many people (cow's milk in hot chocolate, I unfortunately can't stand it and I deprive myself of hot drinks at brunches because of that). 😍 The team is very friendly and smiling, I felt at home there. I give two stars out of kindness but in reality I couldn't review. The menu indicates gluten-free options but I couldn't find them twice. In particular, the pancakes for breakfast, expressly indicated, are not available even on weekends. Remove it from the menu so that those who cannot eat gluten avoid wasting time. Thank you

I have celiac disease and discovered this cafe by chance during my visit to Lyon. I ate the very tasty sandwiches there twice. The gluten-free rolls were really tasty and cost an extra €1. There is no guarantee of freedom from contamination because there is no separate gluten-free work area, but on both occasions the various servers were knowledgeable about celiac disease and did their best in the preparation (changing gloves, using clean utensils, etc.) I didn't have any problems after any of the visits.

Very unfriendly bosses and misleading card. We were told at the entrance that all the pizzas were gluten-free (we are coeliacs), we sat down and it was the waiter who finally told us that there was gluten in all the doughs When we were outraged, we were sent away, telling us that it wasn't just gluten that we were intolerant to! I ordered a burger with a gluten-free bun (on Deliveroo) being highly intolerant. Already the supplement is 2nd (in France it is one of the only countries where we are given gluten-free options even though it is a health problem, so it is discriminatory). Then when I received my order, normal bread... I couldn't eat my burger. I made a complaint on Deliveroo and ended up with a refund of 0.90e (from the restaurant certainly the price of a normal bun). Fucking shit. It would have been at least pleasant to reimburse the price of the supplement and normal to reimburse the price of the burger. It's good to want to make gluten-free options but you have to know a little about it and manage it properly, otherwise don't bother.

Very good restaurant with beautiful surroundings. The menu offers dishes that can be adapted to people with intolerances/allergies to gluten and lactose (don't hesitate to ask)! Only downside: For “big eaters”, the portions are a little small but perfectly adequate!

Where to start ? The brunch is simply delicious: fresh and varied products, plentiful, very good value for money, possible alternatives to gluten and lactose for those unfortunate enough to be allergic or intolerant. In addition, the staff is adorable and accommodating: despite the crowds, the girls take the time to explain to you patiently - and with a smile! - what's in each dish, without omitting any ingredient. They were keen to find me substitutes for the products to which I was not entitled - and the list is long - and finally concocted a salad just for me, excellent by the way. We have rarely seen such friendly staff in a place that is probably already renowned, whose prices remain very honest while the quality is there. I absolutely recommend!

I seldom to leave poor reviews but need to correct the impression that this restaurant is celiac friendly. I made a reservation indicating the issue yet the waitress was unprepared and unprofessional. A single item was suggested, a salad. I daringly selected the other green salad without dressing, it was smaller and less cheese centered, it arrived with croutons. Either she didn't bother to communicate to the kitchen or the person preparing the salad didn't care. This restaurant has a large menu, there are other items that could easily be prepared (slabs of meat? Potatoes?) GF but no effort was made to accommodate. The building has seen better days, it was modernized within recent years but things have not been kept repaired. Both men's and women's toilets reflected poor maintenance (missing door latches, urinals gone leaving only holes in the wall). Disappointing

I came for dinner specifically to eat the volaille de Bresse (Bresse chicken) and wasn’t disappointed. Delicious food and great wine to go with it. I had a glass of the premium wine (it changes) and it was a lovely Condrieu. There’s an allergen table which is helpful if you’re gluten-free like me. Try the vigneron sorbet, it’s quite interesting and refreshing.

We just ate here tonight and had the best experience. Having been in France for about 2 weeks and experiencing many misses in terms of service and/or food in both Lyon and Paris, this was a refreshing change of pace. Service was timely, and every single thing we ordered (essentially the whole menu multiple times over) was incredibly delicious. Our server/part owner was also very personable and knowledgeable about vegan and gluten free options, and was able to explain the menu to us. We were shocked to learn that this restaurant has been open for about 1 week?! Honestly, the food, drinks, and atmosphere were better than many Michelin Star restaurants we’ve been to in the states. Highlights from the menu were the ceviche, the truffle pasta, and the pineapple dessert, although no matter what you try, you will not be disappointed. So happy we got to experience this on our last night in Lyon, and we will definitely be back in the future for more.

A restaurant that does what it says. We had the seven course taster menu which was a wonderful journey of taste experience, the theatre of the presentation and service was brilliant. Added to the evening, I am coeliac and all my food was prepared sans gluten, the chef even made a special bread for me, which unlike most gluten-free bread was delicious, it was quinoa bread. Very nice home. I don't necessarily recommend that you go through TheFork because there seem to be reservation problems at times, and I don't want you to miss out on this very nice little restaurant. A short but effective menu, quality dishes, organic and from the region, although the quantities are perhaps a little light. The major point is above all a perfect welcome. The boss took great care, in particular by thoughtfully offering a gluten-free beer to my intolerant companion.

What a great time we had! For our first weekend in Lyon we had the chance to eat facing the water in the “little garden”. The welcome and advice from Geoffray "with an A" were perfect. THANKS. The menu with all the allergens announced is a relief and rare enough to notice it when you are gluten intolerant. 👍 And of course the very copious and very good cuisine. In short, an address that we will keep for a future stay in Lyon.

Right from the get-go, two men looked after us. Explaining the menu and Ares were very welcoming and seated us. My partner is sans gluten and we were provided both sans gluten and with gluten appetisers. Both delicious. Highly recommend, for the experience, the food was very fresh. I got a salad with vinegar rice and my partner got salmon salad. Coffee had a beautiful crema. Lovely spot in central Lyon with building old buildings around.
