Honestly so so bad. Do not go here unless you want to walk out feeling terrible in every way. For the longest time this was on the very top of my list of places i needed to try. I was so excited. I have a number of allergies and the menu seems amazing.
However the food is really really not good, not even considering the cost. More than that, i finished it feeling more bloated and nasty than i have in a long time. So for all of the things they say they are, it seems like there’s something they use in their cooking that is not good. So not safe for those with sensitive guts. I got the rad thai, their take on pad thai and it was mushy and bad and almost tasteless. It came with a side of tasteless greens and tasteless and dry quinoa all for 31$. They used thin clear noodles instead of a flat noodle. Pad thai in and of itself is gluten free besides the soy sauce so it’s not hard to make a healthier version. Next time I know to make it at home because my god did they mess this one up. Just mush, no texture, no flavor, and 4 pieces of the tiniest broccoli mixed in and maybe 15 strands of carrot. $31.
On top of that the cashier was unbelievably rude and short with me totally uncalled for. And also just… weird? She took my order and then later when it came out even though i was the only other person in the restaurant she half-yelled out “rad thai” “rad thai” a number of times in a really irritated voice. The whole time i was standing pretty much right in fromt of her and there wasnt anyone else and she was yelling out into the distance in an irritated voice. Like girl wth 😂. It was 7pm too it wasnt even late. Also while i was waiting for my order i asked about the ice cream and she was texting the whole time and pretended not to hear me the first time. And then was like so irritated rolled her eyes at me and like mumbled ill get to you get out of the way there are other customers here. There were no other customers. Tho some customers came in 2 minutes later, i guess she was pre-empting the future lmao. She was acting like this with me the moment i walked in.
The ambiance is bad too. It is not comfortable at all to sit and dine in. That might be on purpose. I guess they dont want you there.
So if you want to feel like garbage both in your head and in your stomach this is the place for you. Would give 1 star but 2 for what they represent. Glad there’s a vegan and supposedly healthy restaurant here but that’s all they can get credit for because you dont leave it feeling healthy.
Located in a vibrant downtown marketplace, this spot is a must-visit for its delicious pasta and lively atmosphere.

Nested within Grand Central Market, a great find with gluten free past options. The Mac and cheese is what dreams are made of and such a good and cheesy Mac and cheese!! Definitely recommend. Their lemonade was great as well.

Stumbled upon this great place early in the morning. Had an amazing GF egg sandwich. The bread tasted home made, which is difficult being gluten free. I will definitely return when in the area again. The coffee was amazing.

Went this past week and had the tasting menu. I am gluten and dairy free and they accommodated flawlessly. Each course was unique, beautiful to look at, and memorable to eat. My friend had the vegetarian tasting menu and loved it, too. The timing was excellent, no rushing or hovering. Yes, the plates are small but by the end I promise you will be full. Highly recommend.

I cannot believe that we were a loyal customers for years at Wake and late and now suddenly they don’t have a the most popular item on the menu which is vegan gluten free burritos. This was one of the best place to offer it and now they shut off their phone lines and turned off comments on instagram because they don’t want to talk to their customers . I heard they have a new ownership but can’t even confirm since no one was updated. 🤡🤡🤡🤡
An attentive spot with great vibes where service shines and menus spark conversations about dietary preferences.

Our server was so sweet and helpful! I have a gluten allergy and I really appreciate when servers are educated in their menu and the allergies associated with it. She was great!
With top-notch burritos and a solid coffee selection, the vibe here is cozy, though the service can be hit or miss on special requests.

The lady who took our orders was super nice!! I got a chipotle chicken burrito - 10/10, lumberjack pancakes - 9/10 needs some pepper, and the cheesy egg sandwich - 5/10 they forgot the cheese. I’m traveling with my gran who has quite a few dietary restrictions and while they did make everything gluten free which is great, they did however grease the bread when asked not to and forgot the cheese so it was just egg and bread. Otherwise, I love my food so much and the coffee was great.

First off, for those with a gluten sensitivity or intolerance wondering what to get for breakfast: come to this place.
At time of posting, your table has to sign up to a wait-list via a pad device (think iPad) then you'll be seated. Once seated, it's a matter of scanning a QR code that's on your table to order, yes, order your food. At this point, your card is charged and in after a ~10min wait, the food comes out.
Excellent food, excellent ambience, and excellent service style.
Known for creative burger options and delicious milkshakes, this spot also delivers quickly, though fries could be more generous for the price.

Amazing!! This is one of the only places that has gluten free buns that aren't trash *and* has impossible or beyond burgers. They have a lot of options to build a burger that you like, along with a nice selection of their own creative pairings, and the burgers are consistently cooked perfectly. They're also very quick on delivery service apps, which is a huge plus. The milkshakes are also delicious
One negative is their fry servings are a bit small and are pretty expensive, especially for what you get. I think the melt spice is overwhelming (on their regular fries), but their sweet potato fries are bomb and have a little kick to them that doesn't take away from the flavor of the potato itself. The burgers are also slightly pricey but not bad considering the quality. Definitely try The Melt if you're in the area or, even better, in their delivery range.
I love this place so much! I recently found out I’m Celiac which has been extremely frustrating for me since I’m not the most careful person when it comes to what I eat. The servers (Jacob and everyone) here are so helpful when I told them about my allergies. This place is delicious and super supportive if you have any allergies restrictions.
Known for its light and enjoyable sourdough, this local spot pairs great coffee with unique bread that won't leave you feeling bloated.

I live near y and come here for their sourdough loaves and some coffee each week. Great coffee but also great bread. I don't have celiac, I'm not someone who confuses a fructan sensitivity for "gluten sensitivity", but I'm someone who generally doesn't do well with American bread (must be some additive that's used, nowhere else in the world do I have an issue) and generally avoid it. This is the only place, even of bakeries, that I've been too in LA that the bread isn't overly filling and doesn't bloat me/bother me. Really good and also at a good price too (I want to say about $5-6)
This place met all my expectations for a vegan joint. Food was delicious, with many gluten free options too. Loved the grilled chicken dinner with a side of their Thai peanut sauce. Veggies were vibrant and flavorful. All their sauces are house made and can be purchased by the jar which is cool. Staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was really calm and quiet despite being rather small and busy. I will definitely go again.
Nice, chill place if you can get a seat. We were there on a Sunday 10:30ish. Organic is the best and the gluten free pumpkin choc chip loaf was onolicious.
A hidden gem with surprisingly soft pizza that stands out as a top choice in LA, especially after a letdown elsewhere.

My husband and I stumbled upon this pizzeria by chance looking for something gluten-free. After a terrible pizza near Bryce Canyon (for Italians: it looked like a burnt piadina) we were very surprised by this first pizza! Very good and soft. Obviously, it may not be Neapolitan pizza but by LA standards it is an excellent pizza!
Manuela is a large space in the downtown L.A. arts district serving fancy and delicious food for brunch and dinner. We only had a few items, but everything that came out of the kitchen brought to us, and nearby tables looked fantastic. Lots of points for presentation.
My wife and I shared the Blistered Snap Peas (made with quinoa, feta and sesame date butter) which we thought we’re excellent and especially lovely with the mint leaves they were served with.
We thought the same about the Roasted Cauliflower dish we shared (made with halawi date vinegar and almonds) which looked amazing with lots of edible colors.
Our kid loved the cinnamon roll he ordered (on the small and to share menu but still $11) and said it was better than his favorite ice cream.
I also had a the cream biscuits (because whenever it says “biscuits” on a menu, that’s what I automatically order. They ha good flavor but were heavy and almost croissant like with the particular flakiness of their texture. The honey and pear butters they came with were good. These were small but filling.
I’d definitely come back and try the cast iron cornbread and it looks like there are good vegetarian options on the dinner menu as well.
We definitely felt it was pricy and my wife wished the Black corn meal pancakes dish was gluten free as that was what she’d hope to get when she looked at the menu online. Other than that it was a pretty great experience.
Enjoy a lively atmosphere with great seafood dishes, fabulous margaritas, and a perfect location for dinner before the game!

I really enjoyed this place and our server was pretty funny. I have a gluten allergy so I asked a lot of questions I'm so sorry I didn't have any reactions but I did take a glutanese before and after eating. They said the chips get fried in their own oil with nothing else just chips so that made me feel good. I got the enchilada de mariscos, I should have taken a picture It was delicious and again I didn't get sick so that's a plus. I did not do any of the drinking but those in my party said the margaritas were awesome. The salsa is really good. The guacamole is really good The chips are really good. We were able to make a reservation at 6:00 p.m. so that we could have dinner and then go to hockey game we did get to the hockey game a little bit late cuz we were enjoying ourselves at dinner but it was right there within walking distance and we had a great time and then we got to go and enjoy the hockey game. Our table got shrimp fajitas and chicken fajitas and quesadillas and everything that was brought to the table looks just amazing and my enchiladas were awesome. The place gets really busy I highly suggest you make a reservation especially on a game night.

I liked this place. Very upscale, trendy, and fun. They have everything you could want. Nice atmosphere, great drinks, vegan, gluten free, or conventional food. There's also a hotel, and they offer Valet Parking. Thumbs up.
I love Smashburger, particularly their Smashfries, made with rosemary, garlic, and olive oil. You can customize the protein for your burger (beef, chicken, turkey, or black bean), your bun (including a gluten-free one), and your toppings. That means you can eat there every day and he something different. The location is great for people-watching, too.
A lively spot with a chill vibe and attentive service, perfect for a relaxed dinner after a busy day.

I visited this location for dinner during a convention. The service was so attentive and prompt, I was very impressed. They have a gluten sensitive menu and were very accommodating. It is a great environment, has a bar like feel without being too loud.
Had the house special, very delicious and gluten free as they swapped the toast gir salad
Great quick service, not sure I would queue 30 mins for it though!
