Overpriced, low end of mediocre food served quickly in a blandly functional atmosphere reminiscent of a generic hotel breakfast lounge. Went here for breakfast. The food was... Not great. For a place called Biscuits and Waffles, we expected the biscuits and waffles to be pretty good. We were disappointed. My waffle was merely bland and spongy, soaking up the maple syrup cup without really changing the flavor. Inoffensive, but not exactly bad. The bacon I had with it was a bit overcooked, but again, inoffensive. My friend's biscuit and egg, however, was apparently rather unpleasant*. It was basically dry bread that tasted like too much baking soda in a vague biscuit shape. The egg was all right, nothing special. *Apparently their biscuits are gluten free, so maybe that's just what those are like. I don't know. All in all, it's far from the worst breakfast I've ever had, but I've also had much better at the same price point.

Had to wait a few minutes to get seated as they were busy. Obviously popular so that's good. Lots of gluten free and vegan options which were clearly marked on the menu and much appreciated. The food was delicious and the staff helpful and friendly.

SO MANY GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS!!! I adore Pinky’s they have a very up beat and fun vibe to them but also some I impeccable food with a large variety of options! I’ve been enjoying their brunch for years but I recently went for dinner with a girl friend of mine and to no shock their dinner menu is just as perfect as their brunch!

Nowhere compares to the quality. Both gluten free and dairy free options, and they don’t pack a ton of sugar in anything where it’s hard to eat. I’ve never ordered something that made me feel bad or give me any sugar rushes. Big fan of this place.

My husband and I got our wedding cake and cupcakes done through Pearl's, and we are so happy with how everything turned out! We had a complimentary tasting a few months before. We had gluten-free and vegan guests, and Pearl's was able to make cupcakes for those needs which was really important to us. They worked with us to get exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend!

Great alternative brunch spot! Excellent GF waffles (both sweet and savory), but GF protein choices are limited. This spot consistently makes a kick ass cup of coffee.

Minglewood Bakery offers a delicious selection of scones and cookies that are soy, dairy and gluten-free (!!!) in addition to their other vegan baked goods. Most bakeries just throw too much sugar or other sweeteners in to make up for the fact that there is no diary or gluten. But Minglewood actually balances the taste experience, nothing is overly sweet, and you can experience the other flavors. The textures are also great (which if you are gluten-free, you know it's hard to get good chewy textures without being overly dry). The Raspberry Jam cookies are wonderful. And my husband, who is not vegan and has no allergies, didn't even realize he was eating vegan deviled eggs and chicken salad. It was so tasty and the textures were close to real chicken salad. Minglewood Bakery is my happy place. You won't be sorry you stopped by.

Fun Creperie in Richmond. When you get to the building you have to walk up the stairs and the door opens up to a main floor. The hallway you face looks like a little town. The hostess will greet you and ask what your seating prefer. They have the option of outdoor seating, there is also an upstairs floor. They have a lot of options for crepes, including nin crepe items. There are cocktails and hot drinks. I also noticed a kids menu, vegetarian and gluten free options. This trip is my first here and I ordered two crepes a savory and sweet. The savory one was the Carbonara crepe. This crepe looked fancy and tasted rich. The crepes are packed full. Personally I found it a bit too rich or salty, not sure if it was the pesto adding to an already cheesy chicken bacon filled crepe. The sweet crepe I ordered was the Tirimisu. The tirimisu crepe was decadent and delicious and very filling. Overall it was a great experience. I did find their hours a little later (most Creperies I have come across are open in the morning). At the time of this review they opened at 11 am on Saturday.

I was like how diverse can the menu be, aren’t crepes basically dessert? Then was like this is kinda pricey- guys- this place is incredible and the food is next level and the menu is awesome. I am a convert and will 100% be back- we loved it- kids menu was great- great happy hour even on weekends- gluten free crepes were so good- you guys have to try it out!

Give me Liberty or give me death!!! I felt like death leaving this place. And you will wait for your food to hit the table... Man, let me start by saying, "Table of 4, holiday weekend, kick off, so the team decided to grab lunch together, COOL." I am a 1st and LAST timer...... My order: Ol' Faithful (scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon, biscuit, and hashbrowns) I wanted a side order of pancakes. Well, the waitress wanted to give me an entire pancake meal, and I asked for just 1 side order (a la carte). The pancakes only (side order) were $12 for 3 that were not edible. Photo: My food and pancakes were dusty dry inside. Couldn't cut with a knife. They were tough. At clean up, I found out it was gluten-free. No thanks Others: enjoyed their meal, one inhaled the burger, not sure if she tasted it. Everyone eats, and we are heading out, returning to the office. Instantly, I needed to sit down and center myself. Felt loopy, headache, nauseous not just me, all of us!!!! One took a 15-minute nap to try to bounce back, I am flushing with water, and the others are in the bathroom. So, notification are being made to our job because something is clearly off and we all are not sure what is going on....we left the office and directly to get lunch to return directly back to the office. ( I fast until 1100hrs, this was my first meal for the day) The best way I explained it, feeling loopy like when I eat Chinese food and forget to tell them no MSG. Nothing on the menu states cooked with MSG. Called the location just to check if they cook with MSG, Alexia/Alexis (manager) heard my issue, quickly put me on hold to check a sauce they cook with; returned to say no MSG in the building. First time dining here. Great dog friendly porch. Had a fabulous lunch/brunch. They have multiple gluten free options on the menu. Service was great and staff went out of their way to make sure our dog had it's own water bowl and shady spot to get out of the sun. The food was terrific. I had a breakfast bowl with pork bbq. Huge portion that I couldn't finish. Can't wait to come back for Supper!

This place was great. I had the Devil Mess, which seems to be their signature dish. Was a good level of spice but not too hot. They also were accommodating to my wife with Celiac disease (gluten).

I can’t rave highly enough about the service and hospitality of Lemaire and the Jefferson hotel. We had nothing but pleasant experiences during all of our encounters with the staff. The food here is exceptional - yes it’s expensive, but you get what you pay for and it’s top quality. We stayed two nights and dined here for dinner both nights. Honestly I couldn’t choose a favorite dish because everything was so delicious. Love the Gluten Free options too - the waitstaff even brought me GF bread. Such a treat!

I'm a gluten free girl (celiac) and was blown away by how delicious the food was last night. I got the part of the special (apple fennel salad with peanut dressing) and THE WOW. The burger I ordered with it was delicious too, but I could have eaten three times the amount of that salad/slaw. It was incredible and I would love to see it on the menu again next time!

I love toast so much but this new location is even better if you can even imagine. They always have plenty of gluten-free options for me and the fried calamari was absolutely amazing. It doesn't matter what toast you go to. It's going to be fantastic but this one has some new menu options that I really enjoyed.

The food here was truly exceptional, as was the service and their gorgeous space. Excellent, creative flavors and good knowledgeability about gluten sensitivity. HIGHLY recommend trying the cachapas. The cocktails were good but not quite at the same level as places like Heritage or Roosevelt. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we will absolutely be back!

Wonderful dinner with my wife. Calamari appetizer was amazing and gluten free... steak was tender with an amazing glaze... deserts are not to be overlooked. Our server, Gradey, was knowledgeable and made great recommendations. Look forward to trying their Sunday brunch soon!

Nice little bakery with a large selection! Gluten-free pastries are available and everything is made with sourdough, which I really appreciate. I understand that it's a lot of effort and manual labor, but still I wonder if a Pain aux Chocolate really has to cost more than 5$!

My friend and I met here for lunch before touring Richmond and we liked it so much we had dinner before heading home! I loved being able to eat a gluten-free sandwich and it was amazingly delicious! Definitely a great place to eat!

I have food allergies, and the server and kitchen worked really hard to modify the food and make sure I could eat it safely! It's definitely a place to try if you are gluten or dairy free because they list everything you can eat on the menu! Same for vegetarian. Yummy food, too. The only slight drawback was the atmosphere because certain tables had air vents blowing on them, which would have been a real bummer. The other slight issue was that there were only two bathrooms in the whole place, and the line took forever. Maybe it's not always like that, but the wait was at least 15 minutes. We still liked it enough to go back, though! The service really was excellent.

Well where do I start…. First we innocently drove up to the drive through. My friend is secretly allergic to gluten and so of course we asked for a grilled sandwich with a gluten free bun and NO tomato. When we pulled up to the window and got our food we just had a feeling. We looked in the bag and there was no gluten free bun and there was a regular grilled sandwich with tomatoes on it… 😐. Anyway we told the guy and he gave us the bag we looked and after we had already explained not to give us just a bun he had given us JUST A BUN. So at that point I had already driven away. So I had to go park and walk out in the rain into the store and ask for the grilled sandwich with nothing on it but lettuce. After waiting forever for that we left and finally drove away and parked to eat. I went to grab my regular fried chicken sandwich and to my surprise I pulled out…. nuggets……. I then had to eat the grilled sandwich and not to mention they also did not give any of the sauce that we asked for. We went to grab our drinks and instead of a large water they gave us a medium. This is outrageous. And the topper on the cake was when my friend went to grab her fries and they were so overfilled and the box was folded weird that they spilled all over the entire car. This was the worst chick fil a experience that I have ever had I do not recommend that you ever go to this location ever.

The breakfast burrito looked small for the price but still a decent size. It started out good, but it overwhelmingly tasted like refried beans. it’s supposed to have “Lentil rosemary sausage, tofu scramble, hash brown patty, black beans, baby spinach, Shredded cheddar and tv sauce” So i think the lentil sausage basically tasted/ has the texture of refried beans, which is fine just not what I expected. I did not taste cheese and only got some of the good sauce in the very last bite of the burrito. We liked the gluten free biscuits but gravy was bland. I would maybe go back if I could get the burrito without sausage and filled with more tofu scramble.

Love. So much love. Our server Kameron was amazing. She went above and beyond to accomodate my celiac disease (i cannot have gluten), and specialy baked my chicken so it wouldnt be grilled in the same area as the pita is usually grilled. I will copy and paste my 5 star review wherever i can. People with celiac understand how hard it is to eat out and Stella's made it easy. Highly recommend. :)

So cute! As soon as we walked in we were greeted and when I told the gentleman it was our first time he gave us a free sample and walked us through the menu! Our coffees were so so yummy too not to mention the gluten free bread options which gave me the opportunity to try things I wouldn’t otherwise. Absolutely love this place! It’s quickly become my favorite cafe to cowork in. The staff is super friendly, the vibes are cozy, the food is comforting (they’re fantastic with gluten free people like me), the internet’s fast, and they obviously care a lot about the community. They even have a rack of coats available for people who need them and hot meals for anyone who’s hungry and can’t afford it. Totally the type of place we should be supporting!

The place looks a bit random with the floor plane inside, but the service,coffee and food were pretty good! Where is nice cashier person and pretty much everybody who worked there. The sandwich is a bit small for the price, but they seem to use good ingredients. They have vegan options and gluten free.

Came up from NC for that tattoo shop next store. My first time in Richmond! I stopped by for some food and drink before my tattoo appointment and the staff was super helpful and sweet! I’m gluten intolerant and when they ran out of gluten free bread for my breakfast sandwich they happily made me another, gluten-free meal. I’ve had other places cancel my order before for similar reasons, so the accommodation and extra effort was appreciated. One of the staff also gave me some great suggestions on places to go and things to do around town! I plan on coming back to Richmond in the future so I’ll definitely come back here for some breakfast to start my day right!

I worked with Tarrant’s to host my sister’s baby shower brunch and they were the best from start to finish! They were so responsive answering all my planning questions, great mocktails, customized the menu for gluten-free guests. Their sunroom was elegant and didn’t need much decoration and it was a huge success. I’d recommend them for any special occasions such as showers or rehearsal dinners.

I’m obsessed with the miso marinated mushrooms in the Vietnamese bowl especially but all of the bowls are delicious! Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. Fresh made juices and an assortment of local vegetables to buy to go from their farm! Service is fast, efficient and friendly. Nice front patio to dine-in with tabletop fireplace heaters. My favorite lunch in town!

This was our first time at Kuba Kuba, and it will not be the last! First of all, the food and atmosphere at this Cuban restaurant are very authentic. The menu is huge, packed with delicious options, and makes it hard to pick one thing. We visited Kuba Kuba for lunch on a weekday. At the time of arrival, they were not too busy. We arrived a little before the lunch rush. We did not have to wait for a table. There was some outdoor seating, and the weather was perfect to eat outside. A few other people had the same idea, and the outside seating was full. We sat indoors. For those who are vegan and gluten-free, you will NOT have an issue finding something to eat here. Our first orders were appetizers. We ordered Tostones/Plátanos [deep fried plantains, freshly made at today's state of ripeness] and Empanadillas [two traditional pastries stuffed with spinach topped with their house-made lime sour cream & veggie garnish]. We received huge portions of delicious Empanadillas & fried plátanos/tostones. It is safe to say that the majority of the dishes are Cuban-inspired with some twists on the traditional. For my entrée, I ordered The Paella Vegeteriana. And let me tell you, it was a monstrous portion in a Jethro-sized bowl. My order could have served at least two people. I couldn't finish it, I had to take half of it home. It was loaded with traditional Spanish rice dish with artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers, asparagus, tomatoes, potatoes, peas & spinach. Topped with avocado and Kuban bread. It was not the traditional Mexican-style but rather a huge pile of ingredients layered into a bowl. It was more than I really should have eaten in one sitting. I got an additional side of plátanos. With my meal, I went with their freshly squeezed Limeade. The portions are surprisingly huge for the price, and we left with a bag of take-home food. I would highly recommend visiting Kuba Kuba.

The customer service I received from Diana V was amazing. She is so professional , accommodated me and my husband for a lovely breakfast. I went for the more healthy choice and I had the build your own “American Grand slam” with gluten free choices and egg whites. My husband had the Choco banana pancake with the bursting flavor of the choco because the banana were on top. For resfreshing drinks the mango lemonade and Apple juice was the choice for the morning . I will definitely be returning. The only con was the presentation was not picture worthy but the taste was definitely there 😁💯

Everyone from the manager to kitchen staff and our server was very pleasant. Was seated immediately. The restaurant was very clean and appealing. My gluten-free needs and requests were met with no issues. Finally, a cook that knows how to cook crispy turkey bacon. Our server (female) was exceptionally nice and helpful.

First time there. My daughter is gluten free and they had some options. Everything was great but I was so shocked when they told us that they close at 8pm. I think that’s so odd for a weekend. Just be prepared for that if you go for dinner.
