I’ve been a fan of The Odd Couple for many years now. So much that I celebrated my 40th bday here with 37 close friends. We had a family style dinner with a set menu that the owner worked directly with me on. They are extremely accommodating with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten intolerance dietary restrictions.
The food is a delicious and the desserts are extremely underrated.
Highly recommend for any occasion.

Great GF Chinese food takeaway and it was delicious!! The vegetable stir fry was fresh and tender crisp in a flavorful sauce and the chicken balls, ginger beef and fried rice excellent! We didn’t care for the spring rolls because they were primarily meat filled and we prefer vegetable filling but it didn’t detract from the tasty meal. We so appreciate being able to get delicious gluten free Chinese food. Highly recommend!

Great place! I'm gluten free (medical), but the rest of my party wasn't, and yet the staff did amazingly at handling my meal, checking in with me on my food, and double checking the safety for me at all turns 💕 thank you so much!! Everyone LOVED the food and it was a great time!!

Service is always good, especially with the hosting staff managing those waiting to get in (I recommend using the online waitlist ahead of time). Food is consistent and delicious. Lots of truely gluten free options are available for celiac, which is one of the reasons we consistently visit.
A brunch paradise with delicious options and a variety of milk choices, but service can be hit or miss, leaving some feeling overlooked.

Pretty decent breakfast and gluten free options for my wife. The poached eggs had VERY pale yolks and were somewhat tasteless but the hash browns and toast were quite good. Honestly we prefer OEB for selection and flavor.
This spot offers a cozy vibe with calming design, perfect for relaxing alone or with friends, plus great coffee and a welcoming atmosphere.

Great place!
-Loved the atmosphere
-Healthy, fresh and flavourful variety of food (some Gluten free varieties too!)
-Baked goods all looked amazing!
I had the turkey quinoa bowl, seasonal strawberry matcha drink, and a gingersnap cookie sandwich with lemon cream cheese frosting. DELISH 🤌🏻 I'll definitely be back some time for a breakfast experience!
Love the food. Best gluten free bun for the burgers! Dill dip is awesome for the sweet potatoes fries. The servers are awesome, restaurant is always nice & clean.
Brunch here rocks with unique specials and a lively vibe, making it a must-visit spot that's consistently praised for its quality.

The atmosphere, service, and food were all exceptional. I had a classic Benny and notified them that I had celiac disease and they were very helpful in accommodating my food restrictions. We had to be put on a 45 minute waitlist, but the food and experience made it well worth it.
Expect a cozy vibe with delicious meals and a unique spicy margarita, but navigate some mall quirks to get in.

5 of us went out for supper. Two of us required gluten free. We all enjoyed our meals very much. I also need to note the spicy margarita that was made. Jalapeño mango, and it was delicious! Our server Lucky (hope we heard that correctly/spelt correctly) was a delight. We will be back

An okay breakfast! Quantity > quality.
We stopped in for a quick breakfast this morning and ordered a latte, coffee, (gluten free) strawberry avalanche for Frannie, and a gargantuan breakfast.
The grill must have been too hot as the meats and fried eggs were scorched - not nice grill char but dark scorch spots. The pancake was missing blueberries in the gargantuan breakfast which was too bad.
The potatoes are very very disappointing… still had quite a chew to them and one side of the potatoes was also scorched while the other side seemed more raw. It would have been nice if the potatoes were more crispy than scorched/undercooked.
Just a note for gluten free, that you are charged $1.50 gluten free up charge twice if you want your French toast and included side toast both to be gluten free.
The food was fine enough, and the quantity was satisfying, but the price did not feel justified - if the quality was higher (food more properly cooked instead of quickly scorched) it would feel better but we left feeling gouged ($75 for a brunch for two feels very very high)
It was disappointing that the restaurant doesn’t have straw cups for kid - for a family focused restaurant this felt like a miss.
I don’t think we’ll be back.
A great spot with attentive service and quick turnaround, perfect for a laid-back meal experience everyone loves to revisit.

Very lovely place to be in! The staff were very friendly, the atmosphere was relaxed & the tables were neat, not to mention the food was yummy!
I’m celiac, and there were a number of gluten conscious items on the menu. Ours were absolutely delicious, and our server, Raine provided us with a great rundown of allergen-friendly options.
All in all, 10/10 & I would go back. PLUS, the bathrooms were really fancy-smancy haha.
We were very disappointed that you have many gluten friendly options but do not have a dedicated deep fryer, which does not allow those with celiac disease to enjoy any of your food. We went there the other day with a friend and all my husband could eat was the brownie dessert. He said it was delicious, but a meal would have been nice. I think it is high time that restaurants get with the times and offer a dedicated fryer. You seem to want to cater to those who choose a gluten free lifestyle for the "health benefits" and not to those who have no choice because they have celiac disease.
RESPONSE TO BROWNS RESPONSE BELOW: We were there for appetizers at 3 pm and we were not informed by our waitress of any options other than a gluten free bun. It would have been nice to know there was an option to bake the dry ribs and wings, which is what we were planning on ordering. If we were there for an actual meal, the gluten free bun for a burger would have been great. So, perhaps your wait staff need to be more informative and do a better job at offering all options available to those with dietary needs. Furthermore, when the manager served the brownie dessert to our table, he did not offer any other options either even though he was fully aware of the situation.
I really enjoy their gluten free sandwiches I just wish that the gluten free pastries were less expensive and that the soups were gluten free. That being said those are minor complaints and I enjoy my afternoons I spend there.
Expect a tasty experience with a variety of options and delicious green tea, but be mindful of limited choices late at night.

We were very impressed with the service here. There were a lot of options if you had no dietary restrictions. My family loved the food.
I have to eat gluten-free, which limited my meaty protien options here. Unfortunately, there were only ribs and roast tonight, neither with the Asian flavor I was craving. To be fair to them, it was close to closing time. I will definitely dine here again. The green tea was delicious.
Enjoy a chill vibe with incredible lattes and homemade treats that keep you coming back for more.

Incredible latte (great coffee flavor, not too sweet), and ordered a gluten free breakfast sandwich (I'm celiac). It seemed like it was on a homemade gluten free biscuit? And it was INCREDIBLE - great texture and flavor, buttery, held together well and was lightly grilled. 12/10
The restaurant is not the nicest to look at (in a truck stop that looks like a truck stop), however the food and service are good. Prices are reasonable. Location is great, easy to get to when driving from Saskatoon towards North Battleford. The biggest complaint other than how the restaurant looks is a lack of gluten free options, although I was able to choose an item that was gluten free.
Expect hearty portions and a cozy vibe, perfect for celebrations or a relaxed night out with great service and a diverse menu.

I asked about the fries ,why they are not gluten free was told by staff that it because they share a fryer . I said I'm ok with that , and ordered the fries. When I got them they looked coated so 100% not gluten free. When I asked about it they said oh it's because of the fryer, I said no because they are coated they are not gluten free . I than was told it's just a little bit of coating on the fries. I know getting the fries with sharing the fryer was a bit of a risk but being told it's just a little bit of coating makes it ok . Staff was not happy when I asked for a salad and a new burger because the fries and burgers were touching .
Wonderful salad, awareness of gluten free, welcoming and cozy environment. I docked a star because the bathrooms don't have baby change stations or garbage pails in the stalls.
Exceptional service and a standout experience make this spot a must-visit for a delightful outing.

We can’t say enough about the management and our server Brendan, who dealt with my boyfriend’s celiac when a mistake was made on his order. They went ABOVE AND BEYOND with their service and how they dealt with the situation. Thank you Keelan, Brendan and Jettsun for all you did to make our experience amazing. We will absolutely be back and we highly recommend Saskatoon Earl’s as an incredible experience.

Calories is just such a delight. Finding restaurants that not only cater to Celiacs, but go over and above with their Gluten-Free options is hard to find. Their staff is always pleasant, and not only super knowledgeable, but also helpful in their suggestions and food information. Plus, the food tastes great every time.
Quirky vintage decor and a cozy atmosphere make this cafe a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a delightful homemade experience.

Amazing little cafe, the decor is vintage and extremely cool. Lots of historical decor, adds to amazing atmosphere.
The service was extremely high quality, everyone who works there is lovely. There were two allergies at my table (gluten and nuts) and both were accommodated by the staff.
The food was delicious. Everything is homemade in the cafe. Their hollandaise is absolutely amazing. I had their steak, it was perfectly cooked to my request (rare).
Will be visiting again when I’m back in Saskatoon. I highly recommend eating here.
I love Brown's! My partner and I go all the time - the food isn't too expensive and is always really excellent, the gluten free menu is expansive, and the drink menu is delicious.
The Papa Johns gluten friendly crust is by far the best option if you need to cut out wheat/are eating low fodmap and don’t need to be more strict about the actual gluten itself. I looked up the ingredients and it does seem to be passable for the low fodmap diet and I felt good after eating it. I tried the gluten free crusts a Una, 13 pies, Panago, and Pizza Pirates and I really didn’t like it. They were almost a chore to eat and I didn’t finish the leftovers. They all seem like the same crust and get so hard and dry so quickly and don’t reheat well, whereas Papa Johns reheated just like regular gluten filled pizza - so good!
There was also quite a bit more cheese on Papa Johns pizza than the other above mentioned places, but they lack the variety of toppings. I wish they had butter chicken, fresh cilantro and fresh basil for example. If you have to be strict gluten free the other places I guess are better than nothing but I’d choose this gluten friendly crust over the others hands down.
Flavour-packed dishes and generous portions make this local gem a must-visit for food lovers in Saskatoon.

After seeing the reviews we went to the Star of Ishstar on Gray Ave in Saskatoon and we very pleased with the food and service. Very flavourful and lots of gluten free recommendations. We started with the lentil soup and it was amazing. Next up we tried the Dolmas, very good, Kebab Platter delicious and a ton of food and the falafels were bite sized flavour bombs. Support Local!! Our server was attentive and friendly. We will be back.
Decent and worth the visit, we came for a Sunday Breakfast, Place was busy and food came in 15mins after we order, and not much choices for their gluten free substitutes.
We’ll definitely come back!
Charming patio vibes with a menu featuring unique portion options and a welcoming atmosphere make for a cozy breakfast experience!

My daughter and l enjoyed a delicious breakfast here yesterday! I liked that they had the option to order a 1-egg Eggs Benedict which was the perfect size for me. It came with a yummy side of potatoes that were not deep-fried as well as fresh fruit. My daughter has celiacs and it had items on the menu that were gluten-free...always a plus! The service and atmosphere were great. I highly recommend checking it out if you haven't already!
