Well, we were traveling today and I was to find us a place to eat since I have true gluten allergy. So I searched for something near me and found this little place. Gluten free options! Yes I said options...I was happy to see the GF on the menu. What I didn't expect was, 'Any sandwich can be made gluten free.' Now that is what I am talking about! Wait staff well educated on gluten allergy. Matter of fact she brought us water and dinner bread. When I told her I had a gluten allergy she immediately said let me jot it down and asked me if I would you like gluten free dinner bread. Amazing! For 1st time I get to have bread when rest of family! I enjoyed it very much! Everything I had was delicious! Gluten free potato broccoli cheese soup and 1/2 chicken salad club sandwich made of course on gluten free bread. They also had a gluten free raspberry almond shortbread. I enjoyed everything. Definitely highly recommended especially if you have a gluten allergy!

They are the definition of happiness and service!! We stopped for coffee and smoothies. It was such a great, for once, to walk in a coffee shop and have a couple of yummy gluten free options. The GF BlackBerry lemon scone was delicious and so was my match. The staff was hustling, so efficient, nobody standing around starting at the ceiling and they were just so friendly and happy!!! We are from out of town, but this is how my new favorite spot when visiting Mount Pleasant SC

The food is absolutely AMAZING especially for the price. The biscuits are TO DIE for as well as the apple butter jam. Even the gluten free biscuits are great. Staff is amazing. All of the girls were super nice and attentive! The manager (?) Kyle made sure to introduce himself to all new guests and checked on all of the tables. He even recommended places to see around Charleston (Definitely should be a tour guide) Thanks for the recommendations! Love the merchandise as well!

DEDICATED FRYER!!! That should say enough for you to get over there! But, their bang bang shrimp (crispy gluten free tempura battered, fried in a dedicated fryer) was delicious! With a sweet Thai chili and spicy mayo drizzle. The fish tacos (gf battered, fried fish - or can be grilled) with a creamy slaw and corn tortillas served with crispy fry/chips were awesome! I had seen a review talking about lack of flavor - don’t listen to that. Could it use a pinch more salt? Sure. But it was incredibly flavorful, hot and so deliciously crispy, GF fried fish and shrimp! Wonderful experience! I recommend putting in a reservation to sit on the deck to make sure you get a spot outside!

I’m from out of town, and I had two goals in coming to Charleston: find southern food to try and do so with my gluten allergy. I was pleasantly surprised by Grace and Grits. The staff was excellent from hostess to server. The manager actually read my notes in Resy (gluten free, alcohol free, and wanting a booth) and communicated the notes to the server. When greeting us, the server communicated gluten free options, as well as alcohol free options. The alcohol free prosecco was one of the best I’ve tasted. The chef actually prepared a separate gluten free gravy for the shrimp and grits dish. Everything was delicious, and my only sadness is that they’re not open on Mondays for when I go back to Charleston to fly home.

Great restaurant. They say it's Mediterranean and it has a definite Southern flair. They have a great happy hour when small plates are $7. They call them small plates but they are not really it's a generous serving I can recommend the shrimp and polenta as well as the oysters Rockefeller the gluten-free menu is accommodating as well.

Recently got diagnosed with celiac and have been trying to find a great place for GF lunches nearby. Their separate menu is so helpful AND delicious, and their service is fantastic. Will eat lunch here often going forward.

Really good coffee, gluten free bread for egg sandwiches - great quick breakfast spot! The staff were all very friendly and easy to discuss gluten free options with. We ordered the “Farm Egg Sandwich” with sausage and the “Vintage Breakfast Sandwich” - both were delicious! We are both very sensitive celiacs - and had no reaction eating here. We felt confident in their cross contamination measures, but keep in mind they are not a dedicated GF facility. Farm Egg Sandwich - Sausage (scrambled egg, sharp cheddar, smashed sausage, comeback sauce, GF bread) Vintage Breakfast Sandwich (fried egg, crispy prosciutto, muenster cheese, roasted tomato, dijonaise, GF bread)

They have a few specific menu items that are gf. I had the Black Sea Bass with grilled shrimp served over rice with sauteed spinach and cherry tomatoes. it was amazing and the staff knew what to do to keep me safe from cross contamination. I will be going back.

I used to love this place when it first opened and you could sit at the bar or have table service. Food isn't as good. But big props for having gluten-free options!!! Automatic extra star for that.

Food was ok. I got the tacos without tortillas as I’m a gluten sensitive. Eggs were ok. Beans were watery. Coffee was bland. Just overall “eh” experience.

I couldn't wait to try this place when I finally made my way to Mt P. 55 dollars and a great disappointment later. The oreo cake and funfetti cake tasted like it sat in the refrigerator uncovered for days. The gluten free coffee cake was extremely dry and it wasn't even a crumb topping, it was brown sugar/cinnamon thrown on top. It all fell off with each bite. The sugar cookie crumbled with the first bite. The almond joy bar had great flavor, but wasn't fresh. Perhaps it was an off Saturday evening? Had I tasted any of the cakes prior to leaving, I would have asked for my money back.

Love the view. Service was not the greatest… waiter acted like he had better things to do. Now they are charging 3% admin fee to use a card!! What do u mean. Gluten free options at a bare minimum

Great food served by great people! I visited early in the morning for a quick bite while I waited for a family member to get out of surgery. I informed the staff that I had a wheat allergy and would need gluten-free bread, and they made sure that the cook was as careful as possible. The staff was phenomenal, incredibly friendly, and beyond respectful. I can’t say enough positive about my experience!

Dined out of the patio. While it was incredibly hot, they did a great job of keeping our drinks refilled. Canned nachos were the bomb. We had a gluten free member with us and they did a phenomenal job accommodating his needs. Another member said it was the best cheeseburger he has had in a long time. My husband and I had a fantastic date night - the atmosphere is gorgeous, the food was amazing, and our serve David was exceptional. And, they were able to adapt everything to be gluten-free for us. Definitely one of our new favorite spots!
