I can't have gluten or dairy anymore and it was a big change, haven't eaten much because I'm picky and have lost so much weight. I decided to try this place and it was phenomenal! I didn't even know this kind of food could taste this good!! I was actually able to feel satisfied after eating which doesn't happen anymore. I cried, I literally cried in the middle of eating! Thanks for the delicious food and for caring about people who have to deal with this!!

We dined here with a party of 7 following a white coat ceremony. The service was great, even though the restaurant was packed. A member of our party has significant food allergies and the waitress was knowledgeable and accommodating. She asked questions of the chef to ensure our party’s allergies were addressed. The restaurant offers a gluten free menu. Our food was excellent. Our party enjoyed dishes including Mahi Mahi, scallops, Grouper, short ribs, filet mignon, and burgers. The sides were on point and paired perfectly with the main course. We have been here before and will definitely return! Thank you to the staff, chefs and all employees at Cooper’s Hawk Restaurant, The Strand, Columbus, Ohio!

I want to love Town Hall, as someone who has food allergies (gluten, dairy, & soy), but the last 2 times my order was made wrong. Both times they contained one of my allergies - the first time a burger came with cheese and the second time I was given the keto bun instead of the gluten free bun which contains dairy. The first time it was refunded since I was already home. The second time I was close by when I realized and they made it again. Food allergies are nothing to mess with though and to advertise as accommodating but consistently make food wrong is very frustrating. There’s clearly a lack of knowledge from staff or protocols are lacking.

Went for a family dinner this past Saturday. Service was great. We made reservations and we were sat immediately even tho it was packed. Our waitress was awesome. I have Celiac disease and felt totally comfortable and safe eating there and having to be gluten free. I want to give 5 stars instead of 4 but I just can’t because of the food. It really just wasn’t very good. I got a vegetable and rice dish with chicken that was lacking flavor majorly. Our appetizer was the “spicy” pimento dip that was hard and not spicy. It just didn’t fair well. My mom got shrimp pasta and said it was underwhelming. Daughter got chicken fingers and said the same thing . I’m going to go back and try again, maybe it’ll be better next time. I really want to like it since the rest of the experience was so good.

One of the best gluten free places I have ever been. The wait staff is so knowledgeable when it comes to gluten free, the menu is so inclusive. I love it here so much! OH and the GLUTEN FREE chicken tenders… so good!!

So disappointed that a lot of their homemade products contain awful ingredients. Gluten free donuts have artificial flavoring, poptarts have Red Food Dye 40, lots of products with high fructose corn syrup and artificial flavoring.

Went for dinner Saturday. It is BYOB so we brought a couple beers from 50 West, but I learned we should have brought a bottle of wine. That's a thing and almost every other table there had bottles of wine they brought. Started with the tots and 24 month aged parmesan. Had them hold the truffle oil. The tots were hot, crispy and there was quite a little of them. The aioli was great on the tots and the parmesan was an awesome compliment. I had a side of blue cheese cole slaw. It was really good - very tangy and creamy. It was the second time I've had blue cheese cole slaw and I'm going to get it whenever I see it on a menu. This was the first time I've been to a place and thought I could enjoy every single entree on the menu! I had the shrimp and grits entree. 6 large blackened shrimp with BBQ sauce on some tasty grits with whole pieces of corn and bacon. Excellent shrimp and grits. My wife had the fettuccini Alfredo pasta with fried shrimp and blue crab. She loved it, and I know why because I had a taste. The breading on the shrimp was so light you almost couldn't tell it was fried. She got the gluten-free carrot cake and I got the chocolate decadence. Here's was really good - mine blew me away. I don't usually get chocolate cake when I go places but the description sold me. It had layers of chocolate cake, chocolate brownie, chocolate mousse, and chocolate ganache. It was incredible! We also took home some special dessert items - tiramisu blossoms and macarons (espresso and I think raspberry). They really have great sweets here. I can't wait to go back and start trying all of the other entrees. Don't forget to call and get reservations. It's a small place so space is limited. We made the mistake of just showing up a few weeks ago and would have had to wait a couple hours. This time we made the reservation first. This is a new favorite place for us!

My two best friends and I came here for our annual birthday celebration and I haven't stopped dreaming about it since! My vegetarian, gluten-free diet was easy, and my girlfriends got dishes that matched their tastes. The nachos are next-level, of course....but the DRINKS!! 💘 Delicious and effective. We ordered take out on December 13th, 2024 for dinner. Around 6:30 or 7pm. By the time the order was picked up ( he literally left 1 min after getting notification that it was done) the food was cold. We live 5 min away. Around the corner from their location. We ordered a 9 piece kids corn dog nuggets with fries, a burger with gluten free bun, just ketchup, mustard, lettuce & tomato and fries. And two extra orders of fries. I recieved 6 of the 9 nuggets paid for. We got only one order of extra fries, it was maybe 15 fries. The burger had a regular bun and everything on it. My husband has food allergies and can't eat gluten or the cheese they put on it or the mayo they put on it. Total waste. A $32 waste. So my husband calls to see what can be done. The manager, if it even was, asked him "How do you know it's not a gluten free bun?" Well, first of all the texture is different, secondly, who are they to tell him he doesn’t know when that's what he always orders. THEN didn't offer a replacement, told us how overwhelmed the person pulling the orders was. Proceeds to tell him the order is so messed up that they will just refund the money. Guess what isn't in our bank account? The refund. The refund is not there after 3 days. Not even a pending showing that they even tried. I still have that burger sitting in my fridge. Guess what they will get back today? I will be speaking to someone face to face now. We will absolutely never order take out from them or eat at their location again. We caution others. Also, if you want to be ignored and wait too long, have others served that came in after you, wait way too long for a hostess to show up while you're there, then it's perfect for you.

I ordered the gluten free bun. I understand that gluten free tends to be “dry”, and crumbly. What I discovered is that eating the burger upside down worked better because the bottom is too thin and fell apart. Overall very good burger and the service was and restaurant was👍.

Delicious food every time. They have a separate gluten free menu. Wines are OK, some are very good, but obviously haven't tried them all. Nice atmosphere. You can buy chocolates to go.

Loud..Service is mediocre and the food is decent. Thursday they have varios gluten free options. Not bad, but they will rake you over the coals to go gluten free, $3+ for a GF bun or a wrap. You can get a pack for what they charge you for one.

We have ordered via Uber Eats a few times now. I have celiacs, and there is a nice variety of options. My personal favorite is the gluten free french toast. The surfer girl omelet is also very good and the portions are good. Thank you for giving us GF folks a safe breakfast option!

Perfect 5-STAR experience at the Kenwood Cooper's Hawk location yesterday, celebrating Valentine's Day at lunchtime. REILLY provided exceptional and highly attentive service, especially with regard to our gluten and dairy restrictions. She was very courteous and professional. We have visited several Cooper Hawk's across Dayton/Cincinnati area (Kenwood, Liberty Centre, Centerville) and the KENWOOD location is clearly superb in all aspects.

My daughter has celiac and was able to get a gluten free bacon cheeseburger and pizookie! Nice that they brought the ice cream out in a separate container so cross contamination wasn’t present. Excellent service and great food.

I’m celiacs and eating here was so much better than the last time which was a few years ago. Their GF menu is very extensive and hello Brussels and fries! It’s so nice going somewhere and being able to have these items. They’re made in their own separate fryer. However, the seed oils are out of control. My plates were covered in oils and I know it isn’t olive oil or anything. If the fried items were fried in tallow oh my gosh they would be out of this world. I’m hoping more restaurants will move away from seed oils but if you’re gf and looking for a good place with lots of options, this is for you.

Such a great time today. Rose was our server. She was so kind and welcoming to us. She made our 9 year old feel included in the experience…which he loved. The gluten free burger was yummy (so glad they have the option). And since Rose was knowledgeable, she was able to steer me clear of all of the fries as they sadly are not gluten free. Our son really enjoyed his sliders. And my husband loved his Cali chicken sandwich. We’ll definitely visit this Easton location again soon!

Hole-in-the-wall burger place in Northside doesn't quite live up to the gem in its hidden gem status. Ordered the "Hammstein", "Buns n Rose's black bean", and vegan "James Brownie" milkshakes. Pros: Large variety of eclectic burgers, including a couple vegan options, all with fun, quirky names. They also offer gluten free & pretzel buns. Though it fell apart easily, I appreciated that the bean burger seemed fresh and handmade - could see the beans. Milkshakes can be made with vegan ice cream (coconut ice cream & almond milk). Fries were great, and burgers tasted decent. Cons: Limited seating in a tight space. Atmosphere is a little grungy, and staff seemed stressed and rushed despite there not being many people. Vegan milkshake was like syrup - not good. Biggest issue: Staff were NOT knowledgeable about dietary restrictions. I asked if the milkshakes were entirely vegan or if it was just an ice cream swap > was told it was totally vegan > turns out the mix-ins are not necessary vegan (the brownie had egg and I had to ask 4 times before I got that answer.) Sadly, can't say I'll be back.
