Extremely nice lady at the store offered a few products as a gift of purchase since I mentioned I just got out of an ab surgery and are very limited to choice of food in recoverstage (no gluten , egg and dairy) . In love with the cream puff and lemon walfer. The muffin took me by surprise after the first bite from the oven. Never had to go for McDonald breakfast sandwich ever , perfect replacement. I've been visiting Ben's for quite s few years to get my Gouda wheels for smoking and other Dutch necessities. Dave always has the best prices, quality, and time to chat. Having picked up GF foods there in the past for my celiac daughter we decided to visit the new location for lunch and shopping today. We were both amazed at the new store. Big, bright, lots of parking, and a fantastic selection of GF foods at reasonable prices. Wasn't hard to fill up a basket! The food at the cafe was top notch. I can see why it was very busy for the hour plus we were in there. I know I'll be back. Congratulations on your dream shop Dave!

My daughter and her husband took me out for dinner last night and chose this restaurant because it was gluten free. What a win! They were featuring a concert band and we were seated in the first seat, right beside them. We thought at first that it would be too noisy, and it was! But what fun! As my daughter said, "We get to visit all the time, but when do we get to be entertained like this?" As expected, the food was great and I didn't have to worry about being sick. It was very special, and we will be back.

An okay diner it feels kinda tight and is loud but the fact it's gluten friendly is a big plus and on top of that the food tastes absolutely amazing, which is hard without gluten. Coffee was not fun and it was super busy. Overall it's a cute place every once in awhile, though I don't think you'd want to make it a regular spot.

Went to celebrate our mom’s legacy at her favourite restaurant! Ordered dinner for 6 plus 2 more ppl and added 2 dishes. Gluten free for a few of us! Fresh, hot, delivered to the large round table with smiles! Our famous hostess came and sang a “b day” song with us ! Owner gentleman took our pic outside! Wonderful green tea and wine selection…see them next year! Came from Okotoks to have dinner in Edmonton!

Called in first due to severe gluten allergy before ordering through Skip, was assured everything can be prepared safely. Separate fryers and safe preparation areas, even got a kick-ass spicy donair poutine! I don't trust many places due to cross contamination, I have had no reaction thus far from this place and it was SOOOO good!! Totally worth the money any day! Thank you so much, will order again!

Yum! The double cheeseburger & fries were delicious. I got the gluten-free bun, which was soft and fluffy 😇 I am highly sensitive to gluten cross contamination and get sick from the smallest exposure. I was fine, felt great after with no symptoms. The young person who took my order was kind and knew exactly what to say to ease my nerves around potential cross contamination. If you need a big and filling burger that is grilled to perfection, then make this place your next stop xo

I am celiac. Everything here is amazing. All the desserts are gluten free and there's lots of variety and choice. The sandwiches can be made gf and the coffees are great. The business is female owned and operated so happy to support female entrepreneurs too. The high teas are a great excuse to get together with friends

Incredible gluten free (and often vegan) breads and sweets. The sourdough bread was incredible toasted with peanut butter. The tigernut cookie was a crunchy treat. And the chocolate raspberry Sammie was incredible. We came back a second time in our trip for bread to take to Jasper. So grateful to have found Food in the Nud!

Today was my first experience at PF Changs and it did not disappoint! They had a great selection of Gluten Free options, I was served a complimentary soup to enjoy and both the manger and me server were very nice. Will be back!

Visiting from Calgary and stopped by Remedy Café for their gluten-free options. The staff assured me food prep is safe for celiacs, with a separate prep area, toaster, and utensils. Tried the coconut chicken wrap on a GF wrap, Punjabi style — absolutely flavorful and filling. Saved half for later! Great experience and will definitely be back. Shoutout to the server for being knowledgeable of gluten free practices and a stellar recommendation for my wrap!

Cannot thank Angela and the team at Banh Mi Day enough for taking on my massive catering order for my office this week. Not only was the communication incredible (including suggestions on how many platters/types of platters to order), but when the food arrived day of, it was so carefully packages and labelled to make setting it out for staff that much easier. It was a first ordering banh mi to the office and it was an absolutely hit - especially with my gluten free and halal staff. Will definitely be ordering for catering in the future, as well as continuing to stop by for a banh mi and Vietnamese iced coffee on my own time.

I will forever rave about this place. We've only come twice as we lo Iive In Calgary & have never found a restaurant come close. The experience of fondue with actual tables surrounding this experience, the atmosphere and friendly staff is EVERYTHING. We had the Tostadas de Tinga and the Enchiladas Clasicas with spicy verde. The tostadas were the best we ever had! Amazing flavour combinations, fresh ingredients and great portion size. The spicy verde sauce on the enchiladas is quite spicy and so is the Mexican rice but still delicious. The restaurant was able to accommodate a celiac and both dishes were gluten free.

GF Fried Breaded Chicken is always one of my go to’s but I must say when eating the Carrot Cake slice drizzled with caramel sauce & homemade thick whipped cream with fresh strawberries…it was heavenly! Not to mention everything completely gluten free, I being Celiac. I love this absolute gem in Edmonton. Very cozy atmosphere, wonderful staff, & a big chefs kiss to the talented chefs! I’ve also been to the roast beef buffets & everything is incredible! Endless assortments & varieties of anything you can imagine. Quality & Excellence! Always delicious and fresh, fast service. A true gem . (Last months visit) Today's visit. After waiting a month to return here with my family, I am very let down . I need to amend my review from 5 stars to 2 to reflect on today's visit. I had an awful experience by Greg, the owners son. We were treated poorly and without respect at all. How embarrassing to be argued with in front of the entire café. After explaining to him about the foods quality and taste, I was treated as though I was not being truthful. I asked for a 1/2 gluten-free turkey sandwich with everything but tomatoes and lettus and a cup of soup. The food was brought out it was a whole sandwich. I mentioned that i only ordered 1/2 and then was told after it came out that "they don't do 1/2 sandwiches for gluten-free bread," and there were no sprouts. (Instead of letting me know when I ordered) I took one bite and couldn't even eat it as it was dry and the turkey meat was a large amount of dark, bruised meat and a tiny bit of white where it wouldnt even stay on the bread, in comparison to my last visit where it was the best sandwich I ever had, I was very disappointed and let down today. Also, for being charged $32 for a breakfast for my mom and sister it was cold and over priced for 3 eggs and 8 pieces of meat, cold potatoes and dry toast. Also, none of the kitchen staff were wearing hair nets or gloves, and I witnessed one cook wipe his nose with his finger and then on his apron. 🤢 The other 2 staff members we encountered were kind and polite. I am absolutely sad to be treated with such rudeness after I've been visiting this café for years off and on and being a paid, returning customer. I am still in shock as to how Greg treated me today, so upset and left hungry.

The food was amazing. 2 of us shared the family style 3 course meal and every piece was phenomenal. My partner got the salt cod and it was also amazing. They also accommodated my celiac amazingly and did it all gluten free. Service was notably good and the restaurant is so cute. Our server asked if we wanted refills when we had one sip left of our drink, was very friendly and professional. Also, first restaurant in my experience to read the OpenTable comments area, and asked about the holiday I noted and my celiac.

Kennedy was an amazing waitress and it was an amazing experience and atmosphere. The food was amazing. I especially like it here because they have many gluten free options including gluten free buns and a separate gluten free fryer.

We really enjoyed our meal here from the food to the atmosphere to the service. At first, we were disappointed with the menu since they have limited gluten-free options. It would be so easy for them to get a good quality vegan/gluten-free bread – – perhaps from”Food in the Nud” nearby — and be able to offer a gluten-free option for the sandwich and tomato soup combo and the veggie burger combo, both items that we hoped to try. We ended up very happy with our selection, however, and shared the gluten-free pancakes, which were Matcha/lemon/blueberry and the vegan omelette. Both had incredible flavor profiles, were cooked to perfection, and you could tell they were made with quality ingredients. We are so grateful to have found this restaurant during our visit to Edmonton.

My husband and I took his daughter here along with some other family members to celebrate her graduation from university. She had eaten at this restaurant before but we had not. I have celiac disease, require all food to be gluten free and am very afraid of cross contamination. There is only a select few “safe” restaurants I will eat at on a special occasions and this is now one I will add to my list! I was aware ahead of time of the food selection thanks to the website clearly listing their menu and dietary restrictions, however our server was VERY helpful and lovely. All items at the salad bar and hot table were clearly labeled with gluten, dairy, nuts, etc. and our server had fresh gluten free cheese buns brought out to me that had not sat next to the other regular bread to reduce risk of cross contamination (although both breads did not touch on the table). Our party of five (except me) ate every type of meat there was and we all agreed that the grilled pineapple was simply the best ! I don’t eat a lot of meat and the salad bar selection was excellent along with an order of shrimp. The servers were all friendly, prompt and clearly hard working. Our bill was steep but well worth it. The quality of food and drink is evident. We cannot wait to eat here again. Thank you for the excellent experience.

OEB Kitchen & Bar at Edmonton airport had gluten free options for breakfast. I had the traditional Benny with gluten free English muffin and canadian bacon. It was cooked right soft poached. I was not a big fan of the hollandaise but the overall dish was good. I was not confident it was gluten free due to the server bringing the food out and not identifying which meal was the gluten free. I had to ask. Prices quite high.$25 per person for breakfast is not something I will do again. I did not have steak and eggs 🤨

Definitely need improvement on handling allergies. Was served flour tortillas despite informing my server of a gluten allergy and requesting to be swapped to corn tortillas. When I informed my server of the mistake she said they were corn, I asked her to double check and sure enough they were not corn. As a server you should be able to spot the difference and do a double check before the food comes to the table.

My family went out to the Keg for dinner tonight and it was beyond outstanding. I have been recently diagnosed with Celiac disease and discovered the Keg is a safe place for me to eat at. Once we were seated, our waiter came by and greeted us, sharing the specials for the night. I informed him that I was Celiac, and he made sure to inform me of how serious they take all allergies and pointed out food I could have safely on their menu. Once we ordered, the manager came around to further speak with me and reassure me they were taking precautions to ensure my meal was safe. Even apologizing that their before dinner bread was not gluten-free. Our meal came out quickly and was perfectly done and delicious. Our waiter kept our drinks full without interference with our conversation. Once we were done, he offered options for dessert that were safe for me to have and I greatly appreciated his care to this. I will definitely go back and highly recommend the Keg for any special occasions or a nice treat meal out. The price was well worth it. The staff were amazing and we never felt rushed to leave. A very enjoyable evening out.

Ordered delivery so can’t speak to the experience when dining in, but this place has the best variety of dishes I’ve seen almost anywhere. We were able to try some things that we’ve never even heard of before and it was all AMAZING. Especially recommend the mango butter chicken and gluten free naan! I do want to say how much I appreciated that, at least online, you’re able to choose your spice level and the dish descriptions are so clear about what’s in things. As a picky eater who can’t handle spice, this was a godsend and made for a great ordering experience. We’ll definitely be ordering again and maybe will even pop in to experience the buffet sometime. Yes, the food is a little pricier than other places, but you’re paying for quality and the clear expertise of the chefs. Definitely worth it if you’re looking for a step above the usual Indian fare. In response to many of these other reviews - an added gratuity for parties of 8 or more is indeed extremely standard practice and should not be a surprise if you’ve ever eaten out as a group. It really is on the diner to ensure they’re aware of the restaurant’s gratuity policy before dining, and to make sure they are prepared to compensate their waitstaff fairly. Just my 2 cents.

Nice lunch spot with good meat options! We had the full meat platter with the potato chips & coleslaw! The pulled pork was very tender and ribs fell off the bone. Service was quick! They had gluten free options which was a bonus!
