We ordered the fish and chips, fish sandwich, braised short rib, cottage pie, and pickled onion rings. All were amazing! Recently, we went to Mason's in Brewer because I have Celiac and they have a lot of GF items and are consistently good. Our waitress was informed of my diet and we ordered a brussel sprout appetizer to begin. She quickly brought out the order and another waitress rushed to our table as we were raising our forks to our mouths. She told us the soy sauce was not gf and that we shouldn't eat it. Her intervention saved us (especially me) from getting sick. We could not thank her enough and our waitress apologized profusely. Within 5 minutes the chef, Jeremy, came out and was so supportive and interested in making things right. This is the first experience in a restaurant where I have felt someone really cared. That is seldom the case in my experiences. We live 40 minutes away on the coast, but it's worth every mile, every gallon of gas to eat there. You guys are amazing and I so wish you'd open a place on the Blue Hill Peninsula; there's nothing that compares. God bless Jeremy and thanks to you all.

Incredible service, delicious food, lovely atmosphere. We particularly loved the playlist of soft rock with a few country song sprinkled in. Our server Rhene was very sweet and attentive, excellent service. We had two very very sensitive celiacs in our group and she and the restaurant were very attentive. We got the pulled pork sandwich, the chicken buffalo sandwich (with GF breaded chicken! my husband’s favorite he’s ever had), and the burger with an egg on it. They have a separate GF frier and plenty of yummy options. All the food was absolutely incredible. We also got a non-GF blueberry pie that blew us all away. 10/10 would recommend. And we felt very safe in terms of cross-contamination.

Have seen people raving about the food and service. My wife and I went for lunch today. Now know what people have been talking about. The food is amazing. My wife had brisket platter. And I had smash burger. And as appetizers had the Brussel sprouts. Everything was fresh hot and delicious. Not pretty cooked and just heated up. Even the sides fresh homemade. The owner was out on floor with customers. Was explaining the different meats and portion sizing. Very friendly attentive staff. All of the sauces homemade and nice variety to cover each type of protein. Have nice childrens menu. Have a homemade veggie burger as option. Also have gluten free options. They cover all bases. I will definitely be back and highly recommend to all who ask.

Recently had flux style oysters and I was in awe! I didn't realize how much better a plain raw oyster could get! The Asian salad has an amazing dressing with light heat and high quality sprouts and veggies with a perfect combo of the thin rice pasta (can't remember the exact term used for the kind of pasta)
Steak frites on the wilted green combined with hand cut fries is SO good. I was pleasantly surprised how tasty the greens were. My partner had their rabbit special with house made pasta and he was in love. The cheese cake is so yummy and I love it is a gluten free option. A recent dessert special was tiramisu and cannoli and my partner said it was the best canoli and tiramisu he's ever had!!! We love the berry spritzers altho not a fan of the taste of a paper straw. Would love to have a plastic option or glass.
My only downside to this place is I'm not a fan of their water options. Tap water does not taste good to me and not a fan of the sparkling water option myself. I'd love to see Saratoga water at this place!

Have severe gluten intolerance and this place was incredible and accommodating. How many places can you say have gluten free breaded chicken and options for pizza, burger buns and sandwich buns? Well they do and it’s very tasty. Had the boneless wings, garlic bread and a chicken sandwich so far. Honestly willing to come back for all the different gluten free options again! Old school pizza place feel, great pizza and everyone is always so nice! Hands down the best pizza in the area! My only issue is anything from the fryer is strictly gluten free. Gave it a shot with the gluten free mozzarella sticks. Not a fan but if you want pizza, this is the best option around! If they got another fryer for items with gluten, I’d never order anywhere else. Can’t fault them though for sticking to that.

I was sadly disappointed with this restaurant. Service was ok, our waitress definitely had too many tables so we couldn’t order anything else but that is to no fault of her. The biggest issue here was the fried food. I ordered a chicken sandwich (gluten free) which I was very excited for since few to no restaurants in the area serve GF fried food. The breading was black, and tasted like straight burnt oil. I tried my best on the sandwich but it left a nasty taste in my mouth and was absolutely not worth it. Please change your frying oil more frequently 😭
