Pizzeria discovered by chance through the AIC application, but I would say a great surprise. As a celiac and pizza lover, I can say that it is one of the best pizzas ever. Super friendly staff, welcoming environment, extremely competent owners, unbeatable value for money (pizzas generously seasoned). After traveling 200km I finally found a pizza worthy of the name; out of the region but we will definitely return.

The environment immediately conveys professionalism and attention to detail, the creations of the chef and his boys are elegant and refined, but at the same time they convey the quality of genuine flavours. I have been celiac since birth, I ate a gluten-free focaccia with stracchino and sausage yesterday and I feel terrible. I do not recommend it to anyone with celiac disease. Cozy place and friendly staff.

Restaurant and pizzeria in the pine forest of Viareggio; we went on Saturday evening for a dinner for 14 people including celiac and non-celiac children/adults, with gluten and without gluten; a perfect experience in every aspect from the great kindness and patience of the waitresses, to the speed of the kitchen to the excellent food - both pizza and pasta, both with or without gluten! Very good and good quality ice cream! One of the few ice cream shops in the area that has ice cream for celiacs. The price per kg is a little high compared to other ice cream shops but it is justified by the good raw materials.

My girlfriend and I came to Pietrasanta for a 3-day getaway, the choice of destination was also influenced by the curiosity to try Sementis. We are both vegetarians, with the impulse to become vegan and despite being in 2024 we struggle to find restaurants that offer vegetarian options, let alone vegan ones, so we often cook at home. From the moment you enter Sementis you are greeted by the smile, the passion and the splendid synergy that exists between the owner and all the wonderful staff, all friendly and attentive to the customer. But the gem comes when you sit down and open the menu, if you are vegetarian, vegan and celiac you can eat every single dish you find on the menu without any inconvenience or worries related to what you would like to eat but unfortunately you can't... What we witnessed was a rewarding experience, which made our taste buds explode with the goodness of the dishes we tasted. The service was impeccable, the dishes arrive with little waiting and during the evening the owner and the staff are present, pampering every customer with joy and friendliness. If we lived here, we would come every day😂 What Sementis does is a big step for all of us and for the protection of this planet. In the eyes of a few it might seem like a simple vegan restaurant, but in our eyes these guys are writing the future. If you are in Viareggio you can't help but stop by Galliano for one of his super rice puddings!!! Accompanied by a good coffee in their comfortable lounges. They also have a wide selection of pastas for celiacs which my daughter really appreciated. I absolutely recommend you try it

Beautiful location, surrounded by greenery. Excellent value for money. Very friendly staff and quick turnaround times even on a Saturday evening. Also ideal for celiacs, I have been twice and in addition to being served with the same dishes as the other diners (in a gluten-free version of course) I must say that I have always felt physically well after eating. The bathrooms outside could be improved as they are a little uncomfortable in winter and small, but I still give five stars because everything else really makes it worth coming. Bonus: the owner's two Bernese Mountain Dogs 😍😍

Artisan ice cream shop, clean, many flavors without milk, the only one where I find chocolate and hazelnut without added sugar and vegan cream, very light. The cones and crepes are gluten free, very kind and helpful staff, there are always many "different" flavors that children like such as Dino Park, Pokemon, as well as the classic hazelnut from Piedmont and pistachio from Bronte. Gluten free and non-gluten free desserts, lately they have also invented chicken flavored ice cream for dogs. A place worth going to at least once and then always coming back, well done

This was a fantastic little find during a trip to Lucca, Italy. The staff were warm and welcoming. Their knowledge of the menu was excellent and incredibly helpful. We initially just stopped for a drink but when they flaunted their gluten free options, I was hooked. We went to the pizzeria for lunch and loved it so much we decided to go back for dinner before our train home (being close to the train station helped, too). The Gluten Free pizza was fantastic as was my partner's 'normal' pizza. On our return for dinner, the quality somehow ramped up. The flavours were amazing and a well thought out recipe. Just as we thought the taste explosions had stopped, they brought out dessert! Anyone with food allergies will have no problem eating here, their knowledge of the menu and the fantastic kitchen make you feel completely at ease when ordering and eating. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves food.

We just had a fantastic meal at Trattoria L'Angolo. 3 generations of us for a family meal. They catered well for our smallest (slightly fussy) kids, with homemade simple pasta. The homemade Focaccia was absolutely delicious. We had lovely traditional Italian meals, pork, beef , risotto, tomato dishes. And local Tuscan wines. It was all lovely and set in a gorgeous square in the heart of Lucca. The staff were very attentive and accommodating.. Also special mention for catering well for Gluten Free dietary requirements. Would highly recommend when visiting Lucca. We booked the day before we went , would suggest doing the same.

Best decision to start our day in Lucca in this bar ! We were welcomed by the friendly manager of the place, who made us directly feel ‘at home’. Then we were served by the bartender, an amazing woman with whom we spent a lot of time talking. She is so cool ! She helped us out with a bunch of recommendations (not the typical touristic stuff, but her personal interests!) She was honest, warm and amicable, and continuously gave us a smile on the face ! VERY GOOD GLUTEN-FREE SNACKS AND PASTERIES ALSO !

A truly beautiful location, I would say refined, the dishes are a mix of tradition and local specialties but all studied, nothing left to chance. Happily surprised and had a great time with my friends. Hospitality and well-being of the person come first! We felt pampered. They are very versatile for any intolerance, a friend of mine is gluten and lactose intolerant and didn't have any kind of problem, in fact they had made gluten-free pasta!! For those with particular needs I would like to help restaurateurs with this review. They are really helpful but they don't predict the future so I highly recommend booking in advance and notifying you of any intolerances, I'm sure you'll have a great time Thanks for the experience 😁

Had a super lunch here. Very friendly staff obviously proud of the food they provide. The different pastas were fantastic and you could see a lady out the back preparing them. My wife is gluten free and they happily made pasta for her. Excellent choice of good local and wider Tuscan wines. Just the sort of place you hope to find on the first day of your holiday.
