We needed an early lunch for the road, so got take out here. I ordered the lasagna and it was not good at all in my opinion. First, it looked gray and flat. I promise I took that picture in the sun and tried to make it look as good as possible. Second, it was small, especially for $20: there were only two layers of pasta, so it wasn't thick, and it wasn't that large a slice. Third, it tasted about as good as it looked. (I didn't realize it was gluten free, but that's probably why the pasta was especially disappointing.)
I will say the biscuits and gravy were redeeming (despite being not a great take-out food). The root vegetable hash tofu scramble was bland: I suspect the tofu was flavored only with a bit of turmeric and salt, perhaps. We added two packets of cholula and then added salsa to give it some flavor.
Charming outdoor seating and a delicious pre fixe menu create a cozy atmosphere that's perfect for a delightful dinner experience.

4/16/25: breakfast with a friend. The outdoor seating area in this restaurant is borderline magical. Somehow, even though dozens of people are seated in this small space, it still felt like it was just the two of us. If the service was spotty, and the food just okay, the atmosphere would still somehow make this place excellent. But good news! The service is 4 out of 5 stars, and the food is scrumptious. There seems to be a small army of servers who somehow danced around the tight space, keeping water glasses full and checking on diners. I enjoyed a gluten-free omelette that surprisingly came with some regular bread. The server happily replaced it with gluten-free bread quickly. I also enjoyed French press coffee.
This is a busy restaurant, but I give them props for developing an efficient system regarding the waitlist and notification when the table is ready. They suggested a 35 minute wait, but it ended up being like 15. My tip is to not be afraid of a long line. You will probably be seated quickly, and a short wait is definitely worth it.
With a huge menu and a cozy, old-school vibe, this bustling spot offers crave-worthy sandwiches and decadent desserts that keep diners coming back.

They have the most delicious looking cakes here! I couldn’t choose what flavor I wanted immediately because everything looked so good.
I ended up getting the lemon dome cake, which had amazing whipped frosting. I heard their chocolate cakes were very popular. They also have gluten free options here.

WOW! This place exceeded expectations. I was nervous because we had a party of 11(8 adults and 3 children). They don't accept reservations but we were sat instantly at 6pm. This is a great location for people looking to have separate checks and order when you are ready. They are organized and efficient. We ordered the food and it came out in less than 10 minutes. My family ordered nacho fries, fajitas (half chicken/half asada), wings, and 4 on the rocks margaritas flight. It was $105 all together but worth every penny. Presentation, quality of food, and atmosphere were exceeded expectations. We sat with our party on the patio table 1 and 3. Our whole party had fun. They had two mix ups with some of our parties food due to misunderstandings. One person is gluten intolerant and was able to order but got there food in delay. I didn't get any food pictures because the kids were hungry but the portions are not small. I recommend the flights.
Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with a pet-friendly vibe, wide tequila selection, and attentive service that keeps guests celebrating in style.

My last trip to Palm Springs I ate here three times in four days because I’m obsessed. I’m vegan and gluten free and everyone was kind, thoughtful, and helpful. Thank you so very much! I can’t wait to visit again!

Sammy G’s was quite a fancy looking spot although when I went everything seemed to be in some defunct stage, waiting for parties later on. My guests were sat on a patio lined with cheesy St Patrick’s day decorations and I sipped on a “Blue Lady” while contemplating the cultural meaning of the giant blow-up rainbow flowing into a pot of gold lined with shamrocks, towering above our table. Surrounding us on all the lamp posts were tasteless metallic green four leaf clovers with confetti script cheering on the event. These symbols mean next to nothing to me or anyone else out here, nor is Sammy’s culturally related to the Irish whatsoever. It’s seems to be just weirdly branded nonsense reason to drink a lot at this point. Does anyone even know who Saint Patrick was?
For one, Saint Patrick wasn’t even named Patrick. His name was Maewyn Succat and he was a Christian missionary who brought religion to the Irish pagans. He effectively brainwashed a culture of beautiful pagan beliefs just as Christian missionaries did to most nearly every culture on this planet. And legend has it that he did so by teaching the Holy Trinity using a 3 leaf clover. Notice all the celebratory symbolism on this fake holiday represents 4 leaf clovers, leprechauns, rainbows, and pots of gold, all of which have nothing to do with the saint who eradicated these types of Irish myths and beliefs.
Seeing this beautiful Italian restaurant decorated with gaudy junk representing a bizarre holiday truly took away from the experience.
The pasta and pizzas offered gluten free options which was amazing. And when I was finished with the Blue Lady, I had the Red Lady. I recommend sticking with Blue.
I’ve always wondered why there isn’t an option to rate the drinks. There’s only the option to rate food. But they were decent, not the best.
Still, I’d come back for the bolognese. Incredible.
A great spot in Palm Springs for a divine dining experience with a knowledgeable team ready to guide you on your meal choices.

Our server was Edgar and he was very helpful/knowledgeable about what contained gluten and what would be cross contaminated. For instance, he told me the bacon wrapped dates are fried in a contaminated fryer. He and the rest of the staff were very understanding and helpful in communicating with me and the kitchen. I enjoyed the Cobb salad, garlic mashed potatoes and petite filet mignon. All were divine, but I wish there was more garlic in the mashed potatoes. Didn’t feel sick after eating here. I would recommend this spot to fellow celiacs if you’re looking for a steak dinner while in Palm Springs.

This authentic Italian restaurant is in a historic building with delicious food and great service. We were greeted warmly on a busy day, Christmas Day!
The whole area was buzzing and all restaurants were quite packed. We locked out and got a table right away. They have a very nice patio as well!
We have ordered pizza and Pasta and they were both very delicious. They had a yummy gluten-free penne, and I also enjoyed a cup of cappuccino on a beautiful warm December afternoon.
There is a nice bar in the middle of restaurant for a casual drink & dine as well.
Perched on the second floor with a view of the bustling street, this spot is perfect for people-watching and has accessible facilities.

The staff was great, the food was OK. Not a great place for celiac. Non celiac hubby liked his burger but fries (krinkle cut) were left uneaten. My salad was just ok, iceberg lettuce.

It's okay. If you want cheap sushi, step on up. It was practically falling apart. Celiacs beware, they use imitation crab, which is not gluten-free. I would not come back or recommend.

The service was fast and efficient! We had a group of ten, and they were happy to serve us. The food was very good. We especially liked the tacos and guacamole. The beans are vegetarian, so it’s easy to find vegetarian and gluten free options here!
Very good place for breakfast!
The food is good and plentiful, the staff very kind. There are also gluten-free options and plant-based milks for people with intolerances.

Our experience at this restaurant was SO disappointing. I ordered drink off the menu and had to tell them what went in it, then it came totally wrong. We asked if there was a gluten free cracker option for the hummus, were told YES then when the dish arrived there was no gluten free option and told by the same person who told us we could get them that they don’t exist at all. Salmon totally over cooked, 2 salads ordered did not come with many of the ingredients listed on the menu- basically 2 tossed salads for $30 each. The fish tacos were fine, but everything was beyond over priced, and our server seemed like he had never served before, which seems weird in a high end restaurant. Do. Not. Recommend.
Beignets steal the show with their light and fluffy texture, while the crispy apple pancakes and California omelet don't quite hit the mark.

Skip the apple pancakes and get the beignets instead! The beignets were light and fluffy, instead of the crispier churro texture that comes from most places when it's overcooked. Beignets are a 4.5 on a scale of 1-5. The crispy apple pancakes that they're known for were too sweet and needed a higher pancake to apple ratio. Crispy apple pancakes were a 2.5 on a 1-5 scale. California omelet was tasty. Not super amazing like I had hoped, but still very good. California Omelet was 3.75 on a 1-5 scale. I didn't like that the fruit that came with California Omelet, which was honeydew melon and canteloupe, with 4 grapes since I'm allergic to those melons, and they ran out of the gluten free muffin too. Since I can't have gluten I asked for bacon instead. They charged me a dollar for one slice of bacon, which is ridiculous. I also ordered a side of the cubed potatoes, which tasted good - 3.75 on a scale of 1-5. Overall we liked the food and will come back here when we're in town because the beignets were so good (the remarks on the beignets and crispy apple pancakes came from my husband since I couldn't eat them).
Expect a delightful vibe with unique options for everyone, plus a welcoming atmosphere for your furry friends.

We had a delightful brunch here on the recommendation of friends. The menu may be small but the choices were delicious.
We confirmed that they were able to accommodate gluten free with a few choices from the menu (and gf soy sauce). Tomoko is very passionate about your experience and offers suggestions for serving/eating the Bento box and blinis. All were appreciated. The gravlax is smoked by her chef/husband with fennel: divine!!
Wow! Fabulous food, great schnitzel (+ gluten free options without breading). Staff were all super friendly and welcoming, loved being able to sit outdoors too. So glad Johannes is back, can't wait to visit again!
