Beautiful Italian food! It was so nice to not worry about eating out or having to ask questions about food prep. Great service and lovely little restaurant. Highly recommend!

This place was out beyond words. The risotto was the best I’ve ever had. It’s been a few weeks and my husband and I are still talking about it.
Their bread is also amazing and it was gluten and dairy free.
Highly recommend making a reservation. We didn’t know, and we got lucky we were squeezed in, but had to wait over an hour. We didn’t know it then, but it was totally worth the wait. Glad we decided to wait.

Everything on the menu can be gluten free. We had 3 GF, 2 normal, and on GF/DF girl at our table and they brought out separate bread for each restriction. Huge portion too!

Really amazing gluten free pasta. Bravo. My only complaint is that the olive oil provided with the very good gluten free bread was truly not good. Even inexpensive olive oil will have a bit of a green or spicy flavor. It tasted like nothing; I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't olive oil. For a higher end dining experience, I'd expect better.

Did a Google search of gluten free restaurants near me while in Manhattan and this restaurant popped up, 8 minutes away from where I was. A non vegan, gluten free option? I was on it like white on rice.
Walked across, hopped in and I was not disappointed. The staff was warm and friendly and the aroma from the food was very appealing. While I read the menu options my stomach was practically screaming at me to hurry and order, but everything looked so good, I couldn't decide.
I ordered the plancha chicken, black beans and corn, seasoned basmati rice, maple carrots and avocado... No regrets! It was delicious, it was filling. When I'm back in the US, I'll definitely make my way back for more.
A must-visit for anyone craving a variety of delicious options in a cozy spot, with standout treats that keep people coming back for more!

Came to Friedmans on W 72nd with my friend Jess and we had such a great time! The vibe was super warm and welcoming, and the staff made us feel right at home. I ordered the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich and Jess got the shakshuka both were amazing. You can tell they really care about quality ingredients, and the gluten-free options were a huge bonus. We weren’t rushed at all and got to just hang out and catch up over great food. Definitely adding this to our regular brunch rotation!

This is not a dedicated gf kitchen. They make pizzas and do not have separate cooking spaces. The staff is very educated and knowledgeable about allergies though.
Knead love is a gluten-free godsend. I love getting their brownies, cinnamon raisin bread and everything bagels. Today I added some Rebel banana peanut chip ice cream after warming up the brownie on 275 for a few minutes.

This place is amazing. The dips are so fun. The people working there are super fun to talk to and the coffee is better than Starbucks in my opinion. And as a vegan with celiac it’s super hard for me to find good desserts in NYC. Thank god for El Churro!!!
Offering a mouthwatering selection of baked goods and pizza, this spot is a must-try, though takeout only and some order mix-ups are common.

we ordered coffee, bagels and cinnamon buns. The coffee was lukewarm. we asked the worker if it was possible to warm it up a little bit, and he gave us the dirtiest look and attitude ever. He did offer to remake it but made it sound like it was like a huge inconvenience (I refused). The bagels were average at best. the cinnamon buns were very dense. Overall a bad experience.

I really liked this place. Gluten-free food and also the poke are not the usual ones where the base is either rice or quinoa. The prices are acceptable. One point to improve is that if they are in New York, they should be open longer.

Ten years ago, I wished for a 100 percent celiac-safe, 100 percent gluten free restaurant with incredible food, nearby. (I even wished for cloth napkins.)This gem opened up and my prayers were answered. It's the perfect place for anyone wanting consistently delicious food. Risotto, arancini, and don't get me started on the tiramisu... Italian feasts, warm, sexy ambience, kind staff. The chef is a culinary wizard. It's a trip to Italy, a block from the 9th precinct.

The experience is 5 stars.
I was searching gluten free doughnuts and I found this place.
Let me clarify what others write.
Only Munchkin is gluten free, dairy free and egg free.
Mochi doughnuts and cream puffs are gluten free only.
I had Matcha munchkins. They were divine! Soft inside and slightly crunchy outside. They were warm with some icing sugar on top. They were freshly deep fried, but they weren't greasy and heavy. In my opinion they were tasting like a real doughnut, so go for it!
The gentleman who served me gave all the information and he was nice and helpful.
I recommend this place! I will definitely come back!

I thought the breakfast sandwich was great, they definitely use fresh ingredients. The wife got an avocado toast and the egg was a bit undercooked, over easy is ok but the white wasn’t cooked and when broken it leaked a clearish liquid. They do have an assortment of gluten free baked goods but if you have celiac please note they are cross contaminated which they lady behind the counter told us.
