Where do i start??? Okay, Shelly the gm was outstanding! She made us feel so welcome and when she visited our table, she was not in any rush and was super warm and friendly. She was super generous wanting us to try their different foods.
Evan the chef brought out gluten free cookies that were so good! They weren't even on the menu!
Claire, our waittress made us feel right at home and assured us how safe the kitchen is for celiac/gluten free. She was amazing!
A hidden gem with creative sushi twists and a lively vibe, perfect for enjoying unique flavors with friends.

Hapa Sushi accommodated our large group with large amounts of sushi and fun! I did find a stink bug crawling across the table this time but I thankfully was able to forget about it and enjoy all the gluten free food options!!!!
Authentic ramen with phenomenal broth and a quick turnaround time makes this spot a must-visit for noodle lovers.

We visited this restaurant after learning they offered gluten-free ramen, a critical consideration for myself and my 6-year-old and 10-year-old daughters, since we all have celiac disease. Unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing and harmful. Upon delivering our meals, the server inaccurately identified which dishes were gluten-free. Midway through our meal, I noticed my eldest daughter’s noodles looked different from mine, and it became clear they had served her the wrong dish.
When we alerted the staff to their grave error, the response was a dismissive apology with no attempt to correct the mistake, offer compensation, or even check on my daughter’s well-being. As a result, she is now severely unwell, and we may need to visit urgent care. For someone with celiac disease, this mistake isn’t just a minor inconvenience—it risks weeks of recovery, long-term health complications, and heightened cancer risks.
The lack of safeguards to prevent allergen mix-ups is alarming, and the staff’s negligence and lack of accountability are unacceptable. Restaurants catering to dietary restrictions must prioritize rigorous training and protocols. This incident reflects a systemic failure, and I urge others with allergies or celiac disease to exercise extreme caution here.
A unique spot with a variety of fantastic options that leaves taste buds buzzing, though prices might be on the higher side.

Fantastic GF options. Highly recommended for those with celiac disease. GF fried Chile relleno was amazing. And the fried jalapeno caps are out of this world!
With an all-vegetarian menu and a vibe perfect for outdoor chills or catching up on work, this spot is a must-visit for diverse taste buds.

Disappointing first experience. Although the food was not terrible, it was not spectacular. I am celiac and unfortunately did get sick after seitan was put into my meal. I had requested vegan and gluten free for my meal. Although I am unsure if this is why I felt sick since 2 others in my party got sick after meal and neither have dietary restrictions.
Then to make the experience a little worse, my husband's burrito had the paper that separates the cheese slices inside his burrito. The server kindly comped the burrito. Nevertheless, we will not be returning to this restaurant.
I can’t believe anyone has ever given this place less than 5 stars. My husband and I have been going here for special occasions for the past 3 years and every single time, it’s absolutely perfect. I have a gluten allergy and they are always ready for me with all gluten free options, the service is impeccable and the food / wine leaves you on cloud nine. We’ve been all over the world and have had a hard time finding a dining experience that gets it right as consistently as Frasca. It’s a true treat. Cannot wait to go back.

FANtastic pizza. Soo so good. I'll keep coming back here for SURE. Best part about it is that my mom could eat here too (she is gluten free/celiac). Eating out with my parents and wife for my wife's bday was the first time in YEARS I haven't seen my mom bring her own food. The pizza was to die for (as they say) but that's a very contradictory statement lol. EAT HERE, SO GOOD!!
With a versatile menu perfect for both casual lunches and fancy dinners, the vibe is lively and flavors are complex, ensuring a delightful experience.

This place has a great, casual atmosphere and of course the rooftop views are amazing. I usually go to Mangia Panino because they offer a fantastic gluten free sweet potato gnocchi option, and great chicken parm.

What a beautiful, cozy spot to enjoy a night out! Even though there are a good number of seats, the interior is structured so that it feels as if you are in rooms of a private home; intimate without being aware of the conversations at nearby tables. The staff were warm, knowledgeable and attentive. Super accommodating of a gluten-free party. The food was hearty and beautifully plated. Highly recommend!
Best spot on pearl street for a 1st date or to get out of the sun. Best staff in town, they make me feel welcome and serve a great vegan burger! U can even get gluten free bread.

Divine! This was a great date spot and delicious. One of the best Caesar salads I’ve tried, super flavorful and fresh. Agree with other reviews, the ravioli is perfection. We also had the filet, which was tender and tasty. They have gluten free bread but no gluten free pastas yet. Will definitely be back.

The food was fresh, high quality and imaginative.
A special shout out to our server Wyatt! He was so personable and called me by my first name from the open table reservation, when initially greeting us. Wyatt was especially attentive, and executed our gluten free request accurately. Most of all he offered me a very genuine and kind Birthday wish when serving us dessert so much so that it made my girlfriend tear up. There are so many great restaurants in Boulder, but in my opinion service is what sets them apart and Wyatt should be recognized for his hard work, effort and kindness. Thank you Japango for helping us celebrate this last Fish Friday of the Lent season and reeling in an awesome 40th Birthday Celebration.
These guys are taking the Pandemic seriously! They pass your card back and forth with a 6 foot pole. The Rotisserie Chicken is to die for and the salads are great! I have to eat gluten free but my kids enjoy the slice and a cookie combo. In the past they wld ask for pizza dough to play with which is a big hit while they wait. We Love This Place & Always Have! Even the owner is fun with his daily trivia questions! Great guy!

Normally a pretty big fan of their nine iron panini, and have been a fan of their gluten free bread for quite some time. My latest order with them was a pretty big disappointment due to the much smaller gluten free buns. I also did not receive any meat with my sandwich so it was essentially a mini lettuce sandwich. Accidents happen, but I really hope that Postino is not significantly downsizing their gluten free bread moving forward because it’s simply not worth the price.
Expect a memorable experience with unique cocktails, beautifully presented dishes, and a perfect atmosphere for special occasions.

Amazing dinner experience with my wife for our anniversary. They started us out with complementary champagne and it only got better from there. The staff were fantastic, attentive, and so knowledgeable about the menu and drink list which is important for my Celiac wife. Delicious and unique cocktails that were all excellent. The food was excellent and perfect portion sizes, not too small like some other high end restaurants and not large enough to make you feel sick afterwards. We will absolutely be back soon. Highly recommend.

Had the Colorado burger on a gluten free bun….Literally best burger I’ve ever had. Wish the fries were gluten free, my daughter had the truffle fries with her burger and said they were delicious… we’re from Dallas TX wishing we had a Rooted close to home. We will be back!
I've been to the Jax in fort Collins a few times. This was my first time in the boulder location, and it far exceeded our Jax experiences! We arrived an hour prior to our reservation and they were so accommodating to do their best to seat us ASAP. Everyone acts like it's their jobs to serve and even the manager was hands on deck, making sure the heat lamps were continuously lit (wind was strong). They were also super amazing about my gluten allergy and brought out a non gluten item and realized it right away and my daughter got to eat the non gluten one. They had amazing service and everyone was kind and seemed to happy to serve. I enjoyed my Boulder Jax experience way more than my fort collins one! I'm fort collins location they seem annoyed with questions and seem too busy to answer the phone. I often have to leave a message for the fort Collins one and accidentally called the fort collins one when trying to notify them we were an hour early. I called 4 times in hopes to get a hold of someone. I was sent to voicemail and then I realized I was calling fort collins location. I called boulder next and they answered right away and when I showed up they said "oh, you were the one who called" and stood by their word to get is sat ASAP. Thank you Boulder location for exceeding any expectations had and for the wonderful dinner experience!
Perfect for a small bite, full meal, or anything in-between.
I can't believe this place isn't packed 24/7. The food is fantastic, atmosphere calm, and there are options for everyone (veggie, gluten free, etc). Owners and staff are friendly, welcoming, and attentive (and local).
Onigiri are my staple fare here. They are so simple, but attention to the details makes them some of my favorite food in Boulder. Everything tastes fresh, is clearly handmade, and they get the texture perfect.
There are also rice bowls and a variety of other fare, even including some Tibetan staples.
The chai and sake are fantastic.
This should be a Boulder/Pearl Street "must-visit" - check it out if you haven't already.
Quality has dipped recently, but this spot offers unique twists on Mexican cuisine and a dog-friendly patio for casual dining.

There is absolutely no allergen information anywhere, neither on the physical menu or the online menu. We had just gone out and eaten mole a few days before with no issue. We come here and order enchiladas that have mole on them. My boyfriend starts having an allergic reaction and I have to track down staff to see if the mole contains nuts. They didn’t know themselves and had to ask the kitchen. I was then quickly blamed for not bringing an epipen even though we have NEVER had to worry about nuts at a mexican place OR in mole. The server then later tells us that mole always has nuts in it. As a server myself, I know all allergens present on the menu ESPECIALLY large ones such as nuts and dairy. We should’ve been able to find an allergen menu either online or in person, or there should’ve been a disclaimer about the mole containing nuts. THERE WAS 0 ALLERGEN INFO ANYWHERE. There was a gluten disclaimer and vegetarian disclaimer and that was all. Allergies kill all the time and the experience we had today was disgraceful. If you or your loved ones have an allergy I implore you to eat somewhere else.

What a little gem of a place! We came here during the holidays for a family dinner. We were seated in the back room. I originally found this place by looking for gluten-free farm-to-table places. I've lived in Colorado nearly 21 years, and had no idea this place was around. High end and wonderful menu. I was practicing a paleo diet at the time and ordered the lamb that was fall off the bone amazing. Portions were really generous I even took some home. Everyone at our table seem to be very happy with the food. Very awesome to know that they raised the lamb themselves and all the veggies on our plate. Really great local story and we will definitely not be disappointed!
We've loved Corrida for dinner and wine, but the brunch left us wanting.
It's interesting that this is a highly specialized restaurant with expertise in fine Spanish wines, but we've had waiters at least four times we've visited that didn't know the first thing about the menu or food in general. In fact, we've traveled through Spain many times and have had a better understanding of some dishes than some of our waiters. Not all by any means but about half.
There are never gluten free options bread wise so unless you can have the gluten free crackers you're SOL for burgers, sandwiches, starters etc. Generally, however, they find a way to make a plate. I get it, this is not a place trying to please everyone and that's okay. So let's talk about brunch.
Friendly people always, but the waitress had no answers about the menu, how dishes are prepared, if there's dairy in hollandaise (it's butter and egg), or what oil is used in the salad dressing. No biggie, we figured it out together. We ordered, received our drinks and waited.
The olives didn't come. We finally asked after the second round of drinks and they comped us the olives. Thanks but they would have been better earlier.
Three of four dishes came and they got about a quarter into brunch before mine arrived. No biggie. It really wasn't much food and I was finished immediately. I had a salad with bacon and an egg. Meh. The rest of our party was also meh about the brunch. After brunch I ordered coffee and it was so intensely bitter and so acidic that the oat milk instantly curdled. I let the waitress know and instead of making it right, she agreed with me that they have terrible coffee.
Then comes the check and for that much money we should have had a waitress who knows the menu inside and out, better service without needing to remind her about forgotten dishes, they could have attempted to make a better cup of coffee, the food should be the best I've had, the waitress should be helping to find options for dairy and gluten free, she should have suggested a dessert suitable for my limitations, and there should have been more, I don't know, pizzazz. The meal was brutally expensive and we left hungry and dissatisfied agreeing to never come for brunch again.
It's still great for date night but too expensive for this kind of brunch and for our kids in particular. We might not come back for brunch as there are much better options in town, but it's a great place for steak and wine.
The service was wonderful. The mushrooms tasted waterlogged with no flavor. The duck breast was tough but only the duck leg was edible, with taste. The salad niçoise and steak tartare was good, not great or outstanding. The shrimp cocktail was mediocre at best. For the $200+ price, we expected outstanding for Boulder, Colorado. BTW, do not eat here if you have celiac or need true gluten free!
I love this place. Inexpensive with tons of delicious choices. I had PLENTY of gluten-free options as well. There's sometimes a line, but this affordable gem found among the over-priced eateries on Pearl Street is well- worth the wait.
