I can’t remember the last time I got to go to a sit down restaurant and eat without having to worry about what would or wouldn’t make me sick, but that changed today. To be able to go somewhere with a fully gluten free menu and finally have more options than just a salad or a burger with a gross, flimsy bun was such a wonderful change of pace. The gluten free options don’t even taste gluten free, and it makes me feel like I can finally eat what I want again! The wait staff was also so kind and the scenery was beautiful. 5 stars around the board.

Great restaurant. They say it's Mediterranean and it has a definite Southern flair. They have a great happy hour when small plates are $7. They call them small plates but they are not really it's a generous serving I can recommend the shrimp and polenta as well as the oysters Rockefeller the gluten-free menu is accommodating as well.

Very groovy place and one of the few celiac-friendly places where the GF options don't taste like gently moistened wallboard. Their gluten-free wings and pizzas are great. The interior design of the space is very Yellow Submarine. Relaxed vibe and good service.

A great place for dinner or brunch on the weekends, especially if you love grits! They even have a grit flight! All GF options are labeled on the menu. I got the flounder special over the garden style grits and also a side of the butter beans with bacon, which I highly recommend!

We ordered a gluten free pizza and salad to go. The pizza was excellent - cheesy and well baked. Salad was also very good. We did decide we would probably only do take out here, because on our last visit, dine in, we couldn't get service. The girl at the cash register just said to sit anywhere outside and someone would be right with us. After two more requests, still nobody came out with menus or acknowledged us. Too busy inside with take out pick-ups, taking phone orders and waiting on a couple of inside tables. That was disappointing, because we wanted to sit outside and relax there. Ended up going somewhere else. However, we tried again this time with take out and were happy.

DEDICATED FRYER!!! That should say enough for you to get over there! But, their bang bang shrimp (crispy gluten free tempura battered, fried in a dedicated fryer) was delicious! With a sweet Thai chili and spicy mayo drizzle. The fish tacos (gf battered, fried fish - or can be grilled) with a creamy slaw and corn tortillas served with crispy fry/chips were awesome! I had seen a review talking about lack of flavor - don’t listen to that. Could it use a pinch more salt? Sure. But it was incredibly flavorful, hot and so deliciously crispy, GF fried fish and shrimp! Wonderful experience! I recommend putting in a reservation to sit on the deck to make sure you get a spot outside!

The blackened BBQ salmon was fantastic and my kids actually cleared their plates! I loved that the menu had gluten free options marked. Was hoping to see porpoises outside, but I think it was too hot

Recently got diagnosed with celiac and have been trying to find a great place for GF lunches nearby. Their separate menu is so helpful AND delicious, and their service is fantastic. Will eat lunch here often going forward.

I've been a huge fan of Kairos since they opened. It's the model for a quality "fast casual" food experience that hasn't been matched by any other restaurant I've been to in the Charleston area. Great service, clean restaurant throughout, very quality and healthy food/topping options, and best of all at a great price. There's few restaurants you can make it out of these days with a stomach full of healthy(and gluten free) food for under $12.00. Keep it up Kairos!

Food was good- pepperoni and basil on gluten free crust & another pepperoni on regular crust. Pizza is wood fired and has that thin crust, rustic, floury thing going on. The kids tried the hot honey on theirs and loved it! The meat and cheese board was good as well. We went on a weekend and there was competing music between here and the bar across the street, lots of people, lots of kids playing on the playground in the seating area.

Had many wonderful dinners here!! The staff is always incredibly kind and helpful. They are always very cautious of my gluten allergy and give recommendations as to what I can eat and modifications that can be made. Food is always incredible!! I have never had a bad meal.

This was the best dining experience we had in Charleston! I can’t rate it highly enough. We went to the location off of Lockwood, and it was simply amazing. The chef came out and talked to us about his method for making the pastries, and let us sample one of the beautiful French macarons. It was clear how much he cares about the quality of the food! They import a lot of ingredients from France, and grow their own herbs to garnish dishes. The owner actually got us settled for dinner - we had an amazing beef bourginon and a Mediterranean galette. I should say, a GLUTEN-FREE galette - they have extensive gluten-free options! Come get a crepe and enjoy the amazing customer service.

Adrian was fabulous! I have food allergies and they were very attentive to my needs. The gluten-free menu is pretty extensive for lunch/dinner, I didn't look at the breakfast/brunch menu. Hushpuppies and okra were perfection. The salmon was delicious, the blackened sea bass was spot on, the country fried steak took up half the plate and was delightful. They graciously subbed grilled chicken for a burger that was moist and flavorful. The pimento cheese was definitely a step above.i think the only complaint was the pork chops needed a steak knife instead of a butter knife to cut.

Great food served by great people! I visited early in the morning for a quick bite while I waited for a family member to get out of surgery. I informed the staff that I had a wheat allergy and would need gluten-free bread, and they made sure that the cook was as careful as possible. The staff was phenomenal, incredibly friendly, and beyond respectful. I can’t say enough positive about my experience!

Great atmosphere. The Jasmin was fully in bloom as we ate outside with a heavenly scent. Our server (Stephanie) was cheerful and quite helpful. Overall a very pleasant experience. We'll be back! My wife has Celiac and they were knowledgeable and have a separate fryer for chips.

My boyfriend and I love this restaurant. The staff and the general manager Kacey made our experience exceptional. Kacey went out of his way to ensure that we had a perfect meal and continued to check in on us throughout the dining process. They have the best gluten free pasta (and regular pasta) in town. We are so looking forward to going back and dining with them again!

I had Nautical Bowls for the first time after a long beach day a few weeks ago. The bowls my Girlfriend and I tried were amazing. So refreshing and she is grateful to find a spot dedicated gluten free! The staff were super helpful and the bathrooms were spotless :)

Iggy’s is one of our favorite pizza restaurants in the world. We love the salad and of course, the pizza. They have a gluten free crust that tastes great if that’s what you need. The customer service aspect of the experience is also always top tier. I cannot recommended this place highly enough!

Love Jersey Mikes. The fact that they are able to make their delicious subs on Gluten Free buns is awesome; the fresh meats, delicious cheeses and great veggies make their subs a hit. Customer service is always great. Order accuracy and attention to detail are their hallmarks. The store is always welcoming and clean. They were trained to prepare subs separately sand will take every precaution necessary to reduce the risk of cross contamination, and we eat there often without issue, but those with celiac or severe gluten intolerance should be aware that there is ways the risk of inadvertent gluten exposure. Again, we never had any issues and eat there often. Do join the Shore Points program and start earning points towards free subs.

The only sushi option they had that was gluten-free was sashimi. Both the salmon and tuna tasted awful, not edible. Tasted old and metallic. Then the checks were sent out wrong.

I could easily fall in love with this place. I had an amazing ruben. The only thing i can say... IF you get a sandwich get the sauce on the side. They put on lots We had a nice server who was helpful and polite. They also have gluten-free options. My wife had a sandwhich on gf bread. I tasted it and was impressed with it..

I am vegan and have a gluten allergy and this is my favorite pizza place in mount pleasant if not all of charleston! They have gluten free crust, vegan cheese, veggie pepperoni, veggie sausage, AND veggie meatballs! Im pretty sure you can make a lot of their non pizza options vegan/dairy free as well by asking your server. Just like most pizza places, they cant guarantee no gluten so i like to tale a digestive enzyme with my pizza. I order here weekly and get a cauliflower crust with lots of veggies and veggie pepperoni. (Btw the veggie meat is not labeled vegan on the order online option but i called to ask and they are vegan!) and the best part is no one makes me feel weird or complicated! Highly recommend.

Possibly the best salad I've ever eaten. Great spot after a beach day when you don't want something heavy but still want to feel full. The salads are BIG, toppings are perfectly proportioned, and they mix everything together which feels like an added bonus. I ordered a seasonal salad - This is how we (spring) roll - and my friend did a create-your-own style. We both wish we had this restaurant closer to our homes (I will be bringing all my guests here when I take them out toward the beach or into Charleston). Also, their strawberry limeade is fresh and tastes like you're drinking a strawberry. So delicious. Clean place. Not crowded. Lots of parking. Tables are really close together, but it's just a small space and there weren't a lot of people, so it wasn't a problem for us. Also, their dressings are all gluten-free, so if you have that dietary restriction, you're safe. :)

A really great date night (or date lunch) - we've done both. The food is excellent, and the service is exceptional. They seem to take great care to be clean and sanitary (notice how they wipe each plate before setting it down), and are very conscientious about food allergies and conditions like celiac disease. They pay attention to the small things, which seems rare now-a-days. I highly recommend trying it out for yourself!

Great food, service, & atmosphere. They don't have a dedicated kids menu or gluten free menu, but are very knowledgeable and accommodating. They made my daughter a custom salad with peaches, tomatoes, and cucumbers - all her favorites - which she loved! My filet was the best I've ever had - super tender for a medium-well temperature.

My daughter had been to the one in Boone and loved it, so she talked me into coming to this one here in Mt P ... so glad I did!! My daughter has problems with her digestion and cannot tolerate gluten so they offer options that are GF, like a lettuce wrapped burger, and also vegan, very rare for our area. I had the fried green tomato pimento cheese burger (no GF issues for me!) and it was awesome. The seasoned fries with the Comeback Sauce is whats gonna keep me coming back tho! And OMG, whoever did the mural on the side of the building is super talented, it looks great!!

Beautiful views, live music, excellent service, and delicious food! Our celiac daughter was able to eat the smoked meats, beans, and cucumber salad with no issues. They were very accommodating of her food allergy which we appreciated!
