Ate here because of the app! And it did not disappoint. We dined for breakfast (they serve breakfast until 11a.m daily and longer on the weekends) ~$30 dishes. The gluten free egg’s benny was delicious (fried chickpea base) they also have GF bread. My food was marked with an allergy tag and the server assured it would be prepared in a separate area. Make a resy but be prepared to wait a little bit if you want to sit outside (first come first serve) I did not have a reaction so 10/10 experience.

Amazing experience all around. Innovative menu, great service and atmosphere, and delicious food. The fusion between French and Cambodian is done with separate menu sections, but some influence across boundaries. Perfect for a date night or a group. The bar has an annoyingly-large and out of place TV though.
Appetizer: Kapik King, a slow-cooked spiced pork belly with a rice croquette and pickles, was perfectly cooked and spiced, and a good portion. The three parts of the dish complemented each other - the melt-in-your-mouth sweet-and-spicy meat, crispy rice, and crunchy salty pickles. 5/5
Appetizer: Leah Chah, mussels in a white whine sauce but with an Asian twist, almost like a light curry. Definitely better than the standard, but two complaints: pretty small portion, and no bread for dipping. 4/5
Entree: Pavé de Saumon, beautifully cooked salmon with mushrooms, over mashed potatoes, and with an arugula side salad. Flavorful, French, and good portion. 5/5
Entree: Curry d’Agneau aux Légumes, braised lamb curry with veggies, Cambodian, bursting with flavor from all the spice, good portion size. 5/5
Desserts: Le Péché au Chocolat, a rich French chocolate truffle cake with raspberry, and Sangkhia l’Pao, a Cambodian squash and coconut cake that was less sweet but nonetheless an awesome dessert with good texture. 4/5
Drinks: non-alcoholic:
Elephant Walk Punch (blood orange, passion fruit, lime) 5/5
Kalamansi agave limeade (kalamansi is a Filipino relative of an orange), but it was too orangey, 4/5
Some of these dishes were on the special menu, which is always long, so you may not find these exact dishes when you go.
Good vegetarian, pescatarian, and gluten free-options.
We went for Dine Out Boston, so it was $46 for appetizer, entree, and dessert, and we got $9 nonalcoholic spritzers, but normally it would be $13-17 for an appetizer and and $24-32 for an entree. So not too bad.
Step into a haven of imaginative treats where vegan, sugar-free, and keto options come together for delightfully unique desserts that impress every time.

We were in Chicago for business. My friend has severe allergies, gluten, nuts, strawberries, eggs. We selected Mon Ami Gabi based on options for gluten free. We made reservation and arrived about 20 minutes early. Entrance to the hotel is gorgeous. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Making sure we parked at the correct valet location (there's 2 one for residence one for restaurant. They brought us to the bar while we waited for seating. Barkeep was very friendly and very efficient. We didn't wait more then 20 minutes for our table. We were seated and we ensured they were aware of the concerns for gluten and other allergens. Waiter already was aware thanks to OpenTable reservation, I'd added a comment so they'd know ahead. They were extremely considerate pointed out the dishes that are GF. We skipped an appetizer and ordered dinner. The wait staff were friendly without being overly. Food was delivered quickly and cooked to perfection. I ordered medium rare beef and my friend ordered salmon almondine(without the almonds). Food was flavorful and delicious. Not only was our server attentive but the other staff ensured we were comfortable, well taken care of, and had everything we needed. They cleared dishes and glasses quietly while you ate without being distributive and made sure the water glasses were always full. I'd highly recommend the restaurant if you're in the area. For a Thursday the place was Busy. Reservations highly recommended. A mixture of date nights, family dinners (with younger kids) special occasions. Some folks were dressed up others in flannels and it all worked.
A cozy and bustling spot where you can enjoy a lively atmosphere and watch a skilled kitchen team whip up delicious dishes, making the wait worthwhile.

Delicious gluten free French toast!
Place was packed with a long line outside, but service was fast for the amount of people there. Food was worth the wait!
Seating is tight and probably not a lot of room for strollers or wheelchairs, I’d call ahead to make sure.

They take allergies and celiac very seriously here. Although the menu is not marked, you can ask them what is gluten-free. I'm majority of the entrées are. And they have a dedicated fryer and some of the best fries we have ever had. It is one of our go to places and we feel very safe coming here. They've got great protocols in place.

Listen it’s a nice little place….. crepes were amazing and GF. But for a family of four to spend $100 for 4 crepes?! I’m not against spending money for a nice time but I always think how much are they actually up charging a crepe,/ a thin pancake with Nutella and strawberries.
Long story short- they aren’t worth the money. You can make them cheaper and just as well at home.
Let me just add this… for those who it’s meant… those with celiac and/or celiac family members. This place is crazily over charging. $3 per crepe is $12 dollars over charge for a family of 4. Like we even have the choice. Well we do and that’s what I meant by well just make them at home. Of you’re like us we love trying new GF places etc. just be prepared to drop a dime.

Amazing savory and sweet crepes, and best of all for me, all are available in gluten free. We discovered this restaurant when we visited UNCW with our son, and now that he is a student there, we make sure to visit Our Crepes & More whenever we’re in town. Brian the server and young architect: My wife and I have worked in fine dining, Ruth's Chris and Brennan's, New Orleans; most servers find a way to irk me and disappoint. Brian's service was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and friendly without getting in the way of our date.
Food: You can scarcely complain about any of the creole and New Orleans fusion served at Eliza; we have been loyal in particular for the gluten free fried seafood. For such a high quality place, however, I was disappointed to learn they are still using the industrial biproduct, "vegetable" oil, in their fryer instead of beef tallow or at least refined peanut oil (which does *not* cause allergic reactions).
I selfishly hope Eliza's can commit to clean oils in their kitchen, so they can once again be our go-to for fried seafood and perfect destination to show out of town friends a refined but casual experience of excellent south Louisiana fare.

I’ve had much better tasting and textured gluten free and vegan selections elsewhere. I would not choose this place as my top option if I needed either of those as a serious accommodation. Pricing for the quality and the service was basically awful. My table got three drinks (two small hot teas and a small latte) and three cake slices and paid $45. The latte was up-charged $2 because I am lactose intolerant and ordered oat milk for it. I understand an up charge because the milk is typically more expensive than regular, but basically every other cafe for miles well out-competes a $2 extra charge. The most expensive I’ve seen locally before this was $1. In a perfect world allergy and intolerance accommodations would cost no extra, as people like me can’t really help wanting to live like others and have a little cafe latte that won’t hurt us. When asked if I wanted a box I said I would, as I still had a half slice of cake left. No box was ever brought to my table and the waiter never mentioned it again even as we said goodbye to him and left. In fact, almost every interaction with the waiter was tinted with what seemed like haughtiness or disdain on his end. Maybe because we only came and sat for desserts and coffee/tea and therefore were not “high value” customers. Overall this place seems full of itself and really not worth the trouble and expense to have sub-par cakes and a cup of tea. Hoping this is a rare experience.

My husband and I went to The Refectory last night and had a wonderful experience. Our server Lisa was very personable and did such a wonderful job educating us about the dishes offered and drink selections. The Refectory operates differently than most Ohio/US restaurants. It's recommended to order all courses ahead of time as they are small batch. We ordered 4 courses and even though the plates are smaller than "normal" we were pleasantly stuffed at the end of our meal.
To note, courses do come out at a slower, more European pace. Our entire dinner took 2.5 hours. I highly enjoyed the slow pace, it gave us more of a chance to slowly savor our dishes and really connect.
The escargot is more in a loaf type form and comes with a garlicky sauce that is just amazing. Not pictured is the soup I had which was the vegetarian, which was deliciously simple but definitely warming. My husband had the shrimp that had a lovely bright vinaigrette followed by the arugula salad. The arugula paired with the pancetta (I think) was delicious as the fat cut the sharpness of the arugula.
For my main course I had the sturgeon which I highly recommend. It was meltingly soft and the potatoes/vegetables provided a contrasting crunch. My husband had the duck which he highly enjoyed, the cherry sauce had a tartness he enjoyed but I did not particularly care for.
Dessert we both chose the creme brulee. The grand marnier was a nice change from a standard vanilla, it was beautifully silky and paired so well with probably the BEST latte I have ever had.
There were a few items I'm going to grumble about but really are minor and not worth detracting any stars: I have celiac and the gluten free bread basket at $5 extra was rather disappointing. It looked like regular sliced sandwich bread that was cut in diagonals. I'll skip the bread next time as Cameron Mitchell restaurants, Cooper's Hawk and others have better to offer.
The other grumbly item is the lack of dessert options for someone with celiac. I could choose between the creme brulee or I believe a sorbet. Dessert is my absolute favorite course so this was disappointing. It's the reason we'll come back maybe once or twice a year, but probably not more.

My husband and I had a lovely date night tonight at Glasshalfull! We’ve been here before with friends and enjoyed it, but since we live in Durham, it’s not a restaurant that comes to mind as often. I was looking for a place to have dinner for a little celebration and saw that they had an extensive gluten-free dessert selection :)
So we came tonight and plan to definitely keep this on our list of places to go! From the delicious, delicate salads, to the gluten-free crisps (yum!!) that came with the cheese appetizer to the entrees, to the gluten-free desserts, to the wonderful server (India), it was such a great night. I have to say that it was the best brownie that I’ve had in quite a while (GF and otherwise). It was baked in its own ramekin so there were “edges” all the way around and on the bottom - if you are someone who loves the edge pieces of brownies, this is the one for you!
Yes, the prices are a little higher, but that’s because they pay a working wage for their staff and so tipping is optional. The tables are nicely spaced so that you’re not right up against others. It was a cool night tonight, so we sat inside, but it looks like they have nice outdoor seating, so I hope we can come sometime and enjoy that :)

ISO real GF food for my celiac/ Chrons/EPI spouse. Made a reservation sight unseen because I saw GF crab cakes on the menu. Find out most of the menu (including dessert) is GF! The crab cakes were excellent! The GF cheese cake had a crust! And was awesome!
I am not in need of GF food. I ate all of this as well. Would absolutely recommend to all. The prices are a bit high, but I would pay that every time to get my spouse high quality real food like this. Will definitely come here every time I am in Houston.

I visited this place on a Friday morning when it was somewhat busy. I liked that they offer both indoor and outdoor dining options. The menu is extensive, allowing you to mix and match one to three items from each section. For example, you can choose two pancakes or one eggs benedict, making it easy to try a variety of dishes.
I ordered one eggs benedict, one gingerbread pancake, and a cappuccino. My friend ordered gluten-free English muffins, which was a nice option to have. The food was great—especially the gingerbread pancake, which had exceptional flavors. However, the coffee was burnt and much too hot. The service follows a European style, which meant a more relaxed pace, but at times it felt a bit inattentive.
Overall, the food was good, and the atmosphere was pleasant.

Plenty of seating inside. Outdoor seating. WiFi.
We ordered Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte, Iced chai latte, and a shot of espresso with real whipped cream on top. Very delicious!
We were not going to leave without eating some crepes. We had the banana Nutella crepe and Croi’ffles. Also the gluten free crepe with honey and salted butter. Absolutely amazing!!!!!
The crepes are huge and did I mention delicious?!?!? We will return and try new crepes and drinks.
Once you hit the coffee shop, walk through town and shop in some stores. The whole town is great! And for those of us who love trains, active tracks to watch trains rumble through!!

Wasn’t super impressed. Came for breakfast, my boyfriend and I both got the breakfast crepe, mine was gluten free. The crepes themselves, both regular and gf, weren’t super flavorful, and the ingredients inside didn’t integrate to create anything special. Hollandaise was a good move, but they just provided a random, undressed side of mixed greens on the side of the plate which mixed with the holly, and besides the crepe, that was it.
Service was sweet, place was busy, and food came out fast.
Couldn’t seem to find wifi which may have been on us, but worth mentioning.
All in all, we weren’t super impressed, but didn’t necessarily have the worst time.

We went here specifically for gluten free food. The owner was there and super friendly. We ordered gluten free fried green tomatoes, shrimp, crayfish, catfish, pickles, and fries. The coating/breading was light and airy.

I eat here all the time! The food is fantastic, the atmosphere gives a cozy hipster vibe, and the drinks are amazing. You can watch them make everything you order, and you can customize the ingredients is basically everything. They even have gluten free and vegan options. I have started asking for wild combos and the staff is amazingly adaptable and even when I over order on the crèpe fillings (purposefully) they manage to still make it delicious and hold together. I’m not a big fan of coffee but the rest of their drinks are equally as good as I hear their coffee is. Lightning Lemonades (or Lightning Arnold Palmers) are the best way to get your energy for the day. Aside from the taste, the ever changing specials menu is awesome and makes for a different experience every time you go. If the Gyro is the special it’s mandatory to eat here several times a week, I don’t make the rules. Finally if you are sitting at the bench windows you can look out at the Soo Locks, watching the giant freighters come and go, a perfect view for locals and tourists alike.

I recently visited Starving Artist for breakfast, and overall, it was a great experience! I ordered the seasonal "Something Good Crepe," which was a savory delight with brie, turkey slices, and a tangy cranberry jam on top. It was light and flavorful—definitely a unique combination. My girlfriend tried the Crepedilla, which was essentially a savory quesadilla in crepe form. It was good, but not as exciting as the other dishes.
One of the great things about Starving Artist is that they offer the option to make any of their crepes gluten-free, which is a fantastic choice for those with dietary restrictions. It’s always nice to have a place where you can enjoy a delicious meal without having to compromise on flavor or texture, and the gluten-free crepes here are just as tasty as the regular ones. It’s a thoughtful touch that makes the dining experience even more inclusive!
We also shared the "Spiced and Something Nice" crepe, which was a simple yet absolutely amazing dessert. The cinnamon and sugar paired perfectly with the butter, and the side of maple syrup added the right touch. For drinks, the seasonal Egg Nog Latte was a must-try—so decadent and flavorful, it was the perfect winter treat.
The only downside was the seating, which felt a bit uncomfortable, and the live music, which didn’t quite fit the vibe for us. Still, everything else was wonderful, and I’d definitely come back for the food and the latte!
One of my FAVORITE coffee shops downtown. The staff are always so helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Amazing coffee and tea! This restaurant was just amazing! I have a gluten allergy and unlike most restaurants they actually offer gluten free bread to the table. And the bread is homemade garlic bread. Not Celiac safe. While they do have gluten free items on the menu, the kitchen is very small and cross contaminated. I got a salad, thinking it would be safe and I was extremely sick from it for a long time. I'm thinking that flour just settles everywhere. Very good food. Not safe for people with celiac.

A friend suggested this place because they have gluten-free crepes. We had to go! The gentleman who greeted us right away made us feel at ease and he directed us to a table while we looked over the menues. I ordered jasmine tea, which came in a beautiful little cup and pitcher. We decided to split two crepes, the Ratatouille and the L'Ocean (smoked salmon). Both looked amazing and tasted even better! Flavor, texture, and presentation were a "10"! Sadly, we didn't save room for a dessert crepe, which we decided we'd have to come back for again. If the GF crepes were that delicious, I'd wager their regular crepes are outstanding. Definitely check this cute place out!
