Genuinely the most amazing experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Yummy good, good service and they put on a birthday song for my partner too. It was such a good vibes and I couldn’t recommend it more. 10/10, will be coming back again.
They also had gluten free options for my celiac friend!!!! - the naan bread was GF!! SO COOL!!!

My partner and I visited a couple of weeks ago for dinner, and we were thoroughly impressed! We started with the Dahi Bhalla, and for mains, we ordered the coconut prawn curry (for me), chicken tikka masala, plain rice, and naan. The food was sensational—each dish was incredibly fresh, with the prawns being especially large and the meat of top quality. It’s clear they don’t scrimp on quality; the dishes were not greasy and felt thoughtfully prepared.
As someone with multiple food intolerances (mainly to dairy and gluten), I often find dining out challenging. However, the staff here were exceptionally accommodating. The person who took our order was very knowledgeable about dietary needs and recommended dishes accordingly.
My only suggestion would be to make the menu descriptions a bit more detailed. For example, the coconut prawn curry included veggies like peas, corn, and broccoli, which I’m intolerant to. When I provided this feedback, the lady at the counter was wonderfully understanding and even offered to take the item off our bill—a gesture that made us feel valued and appreciated.
Highly recommend this restaurant for both the quality of food and the attentive, customer-focused service. We'll definitely be back!
Expect an incredible culinary journey with vibrant flavors and a welcoming atmosphere that makes every visit feel special.

The best Indian food I’ve ever had. It could be the best restaurant in the country. Big statements I know, but I’ve been coming here for 20 years and the service and food is flawless. I highly suggest dining in. There is great food for everyone, including vegetarian and gluten free options. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Couldn’t ask for a better night out.

This restaurant is like stepping into your grandparents house and being fed like you’re family.
We only just moved to Melbourne and found this place close by, the owners are lovely, the food is incredible and the pricing is great.
Every single item on the menu can be made vegan, they are well aware of gluten intolerances etc and do awesome gluten free options.
We tried the jackfruit masala and the shahi tofu, the tofu dish reminded me of butter chicken, it was incredible.
Enjoy a warm atmosphere and large portions of delicious Indian cuisine that keeps everyone coming back for more.

By far the best Indian food I’ve had in Melbourne. Sometimes I feel heavy after eating Indian food, not sure why but I never feel heavy after eating here. I’m assuming the quality and ingredients are just really good. I’m also celiac, so I appreciate that they are always careful with that - they even called me a few times to make sure that I knew some of the food contained gluten. Would recommend most of the dishes on the menu, but the punjabi style butter chicken and goat korma are out of this world. Prices are very fair and portions are generous.
Authentic Sri Lankan vibes with aromatic dishes and a spacious, mirror-adorned ambiance make this a must-visit spot for flavorful experiences!

Elephant Corridor has to be an incredible Sri Lankan Restaurant. Being a food enthusiast, I really do not mind travelling a distance for good food. This restaurant was first recommended to me by my family 3 months ago but I live in Brisbane. I finally managed to get a break to be in Melbourne and I definitely had to try this place out, and I am glad that we did!
Despite the 1 hr 40 minutes drive from Melton, we reserved a table and made our way toElephant Corridor. Reservation was very easy and the staff were very helpful (even over the phone!).
At the restaurant, the staff were very polite and extremely professional (kudos to the staff training-excellent customer service!). Food order was quick (via QR scan) and I must say the menu items was a great deal to choose from. The food preparation was very quick and efficient and the wait time was less than 10 minutes.
The food: We are Fijians of Indian decent and we love our spice! The food was very generous with it's spices and we enjoyed everything (PS: If you do not like too much spice/heat there are mild and medium options but we specifically chose 'hot' as an option for almost all our selected items off the menu). The food was very authentic, aromatic and had a lot of taste! The items are also considerate about Gluten Free options, this also was a contributing factor to choose this restaurant as my mom has celiac and can not take food with gluten.
Personal recommendations (best for this Melbourne winter):
1. Lamb Vindaloo
2. Sri Lankan Devilled Chicken
3. Green Jack Fruit Curry (vegetarian)
5/5 to everything that we ordered but these three dishes were the best!
The overall ambience of the restaurant is incredible too and the friendly staff make things even better. It has a great vibe and it feels great to sit and enjoy good food with your loved ones.
Having travelled more than 18 countries, Elephant Corridor is definitely one of my favourites now. I would absolutely recommend this place!
Very good Indian food. One of the better restaurant options on Burgundy Street. Needed to know gluten free options and staff were very helpful & knowledgable with this.
Absolutely amazing service and food! Fresh and authentic indian! very accommodating when it comes to dietary requirements my wife is lactose, gluten and fodmap (no garlic no onion) they were happy to help. My wife loves the dishes. The owner him self was patient and accepting of our requirements, he and the chef made something my could eat as other restaurants find it a hassle and understanding that but, in these day and age dietary requirements need to be taken seriously. Once again guys thank you very much. Highly recommend 👌🏽
Looking at the great reviews, I expected a good experience as well. But, unfortunately, the food was very disappointing and not worth the bill at the end.
Chicken tikka (appetisers) and garlic naan were the only dishes we liked. The others below were terrible and we felt more let down when we received the bill after the food .
1. Missi roti - One person in our circle is gluten intolerant. The waiter mentioned that missi roti is not purely gluten free as it is rolled out using gluten flour. Please remove the term ''gluten free" for this menu item as it is not true.
2. Butter chicken - After multiple good reviews and the waiter supporting that view, we tried the butter chicken. It had no butter, the gravy has no spices and its definitely not worth receiving 3 small pieces of chicken for $25.
3. Cauliflower manchurian - Bland and watery. Big chunky pieces of cauliflower which was white inside, and tasted like salt and cauliflower.
4. Kadhi pakora - Felt like more then necessary curd was used as it was sour in taste.
We came in on 6 Apr, Saturday for dinner.
Using words like "harmony" and "perfect blend" does not make the food taste better.

Amazing food!! Indians Again serves the best Indian food I’ve had in a long time! We ordered a handful of curries and dosa. It was all delicious. Every curry was really flavourful, the meat cooked to perfection and they all tasted different. The dosa were great too. Only negative was food took 40mins to get ready which is a while to wait in the car. But worth the wait!!
Being coeliac gluten free, I chatted with the staff prior to ordering. Although the majority of the menu advertises gluten free, he could only guarantee that the curries were coeliac friendly. All other menu items are low gluten/no added gluten (risk of wheat contamination in cooking). I was happy with his understanding of coeliac and gluten contamination and would confidently eat the curries again!

Delicious Nepalese food! Great spot for gluten free curry and desserts. We had the Sherpa Chicken (came highly recommended) and Goat and Potato curry with saffron rice. They came out quickly and were delicious. We had two Kulfi for dessert which was a nice change from conventional icecream too.
The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the food was very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back.

After many years we have returned to the restaurant. We did come few minutes before our reservation time at 6 pm but they did wait 6 pm to open the door.
Service was friendly but the nice girl didn't know what gluten free food is. This has been quickly sorted out.
Food we ordered was very nice- from mixed plate, naans, chicken tikka, prawns, vindaloo, chicken tikka...
Amazing food!! The best Lamb Biryani amd Aloo Palak I've ever had. Highly recommend. The whole meal was divine. We asked for gluten free and it all was and the service for home delivery was on par with the meal.
We were really impressed with the butter chicken and the street fish curry. The gluten free designation is a real help for us, will certainly order again in the future.

Really lovely guy who runs the place. We order the soy dumplings and he was considerate enough to let us know that this batch had a tiny bit of gluten (only an issue for anaphylaxis which we don’t have but was kind of him to let us know in case).
Also gave extra sauce :)
Highly recommend!
Absolutely delicious food, some of the best Indian I've had. Wonderful selection of clearly labelled gluten-free dishes, and friendly and helpful staff made this a great experience.
