Really fabulous restaurant, with soooo many vegan options - worth noting that it's not actually a vegan restaurant and therefore some items are NOT VEGAN but everything is labelled on the menu. On the day of my visit I emailed ahead to ask if they could accommodate gluten free as well as no garlic / no onion and they assured me there would be no problem. Great selection of drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and a really relaxed friendly atmosphere. The vegan pizza I had was one of the best vegan pizzas I have ever tasted. I thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Lots of vegan and gluten free options, which is hard to find. The mushroom toasty was done perfectly and I could happily live on the iced strawberry matcha. They weren't lying when they said they had the best, gooey brownie. Definitely recommend a visit (or two).

I recently dined at Al Taglio Pizzeria in Surry Hills and was thoroughly impressed. The Margherita and Carbonara pizzas were both fantastic, featuring rich flavors and perfectly baked crusts. As someone who requires gluten-free options, I was delighted to find that their gluten-free pizza was the best I've ever had, with a crispy yet tender base and generous, flavorful toppings. If you're in Sydney and craving gourmet pizza, I highly recommend visiting Al Taglio Pizzeria. Their exceptional flavors and accommodating menu make it a standout choice for any pizza enthusiast!

Delicious food. Friendly service. Great ambience. For a group of 8 we had the banquet and had more than enough, with leftovers to take away. Added bonus, we were confident they understood what "coeliac" was, with a dedicated fryer and prep space! Oh...and really good cocktails too! We will definitely return.

You can’t go wrong with Crust. It’s a premium place with heaps of toppings. Gluten free pizza is excellent! If you are looking for an Italian style pizza, this is not for you. However, I can’t say how the other two pizza places next door compare.

Despite the sign when you enter, No Chili, No Garlic, No Dairy, No Onion (which might deter some), the dishes here are bursting with delicious flavors that even non-vegans like me can appreciate. Some options are also gluten-free. The star of the show is undoubtedly the Pho, available in various varieties, each one a delight. You won't be disappointed. The spring rolls and salads equally impressive. What sets Hạnh Phúc apart is not just the food, but the genuine hospitality extended by the owner. Despite the high quality of the food and service, the prices at Hạnh Phúc Vegan are surprisingly affordable, making it accessible to all. This may be the best sushi place in Sydney - always fresh and wonderful food. I’ve loved it over the years, and it’s a great Surry staple. However: - They have severely restricted their roll menu and most of their rolls are now filled with cooked or fried fish rather than fresh sushi, feels a bit pandering. - Whenever I go, I get conflicting information on whether the Miso Soup, Tacos, and Honey Prawns can be modified to be gluten free or not, makes me unsure if I can trust the establishment and, given I cannot have gluten, it makes me really nervous about ordering this items which leaves a pretty limited menu given how much is fried on their menu.

We went to the caberet event last night and had a great time! The food was absolutely amazing and served quickly with great timing in between meals. The service was really great. Lots of gluten free options which was nice! The show was amazing. All in all a really nice night. We are planning to come back soon :)

Exceptional pizza place. Crispy, thin and Roman style. And the big news is they have gluten free pizzas and pastas. The owner was in the open kitchen and cooking with passion. My friends told me that he is a well known Italian Chef Luigi Esposito. I had GF Capriciosa without ham, it was one of the best pizzas in my life and best panzanella salad ever. I think its because the chef's love of cooking. My friends (3 boys) ate all the menu😀🙊 they loved everything. Had an ıtalian white wine. Lovely place. Tuesday's off. Weekends 12pm to 10 pm. Other days 5pm to 10 pm. Ig you wanna have a real pizza. Go there.

Visited for the first time on new years day. Staff were super friendly and greeted us with a smile and a ‘happy new year’ greeting which was nice. We sat near the window and ordered via the QR code on the table. We both enjoyed the pita breads (gluten free and wholemeal low carb pita) & dips (tzatziki and eggplant). We will return here for another meal when in the area again. They are located only a short walk from Central station on the Woolworths side.

We loved this place. Good vibe and a sense of the food being made with love and quality ingredients. Service was fresh and friendly. Mr S thought his eggs Benedict was top notch and I really enjoyed my dish - with very nice gluten free bread.

We dined at Cicerone last night as a group of seven, including one friend with coeliac disease. While the food itself was enjoyable, the overall experience was disappointing- especially in terms of accommodating dietary requirements. When booking over the phone, I specifically mentioned that we had a coeliac in our group. The restaurant informed me that they only offer gluten-free pasta, which was fine, but they failed to mention that she would still be required to pay the full $69 feast menu price, even though all she could eat was a single bowl of pasta. Due to our group size, we were required to do the feast menu. However, when we arrived, we asked if our coeliac friend could order separately from the à la carte menu while the rest of us had the feast, but this was refused. When we raised our concerns with the waiter, the manager came over, but rather than being understanding, they were quite rude and dismissive. While the food was nice, the lack of flexibility and poor customer service left a bad impression. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant for groups, especially if anyone in your party has dietary restrictions.

If you really want to feed 5 plus mouths and the politcians who own your household are unreasonably hiking up the rent, look no further than good ole Dominos Sure, they lost their way for a bit, but don’t we all? You’ve got options, you’ve got an app, you’ve got vegan, gluten free, and you’ve even got that 90s garlic bread wrapped in foil - yep, that one that is probably more cake than savoury dish. Thanks for being who you are Dominos. Don’t go changing, or trying too hard, you’re perfect who you are.

I would highly recommend Mexican Burrito Cantina to anyone looking for a traditional Mexican restaurant.

Sweet and cosy cafe with high quality food, beverages and amazing customer service. The staff provided us with a blanket when it was chilly outside, and answered all of our questions about the food, including whether items were gluten free, as one of us is coeliac. They even pulled up an extra chair for our little pup at our outdoor table, which was very kind. When it started pouring down with rain, they invited us inside and set up a table for us to keep dry. We are in love with this place after stumbling across it today, and will definitely be back!

My friend and I were taking a noon walk, passing by this beautiful restaurant in Surry Hills. The atmosphere of the restaurant was delightful. Mishy greeted us, led us to our table, and handed us a very sweet, fresh slice of watermelon. The dishes were beautifully fresh and very healthy. If you order a salad, I would recommend adding cured ora salmon; it's delicious. Before I left, I took away a pistachio gluten-free dessert. It was just the cream on top of the cake. I would definitely come back again :)

The falafel plate was very good for a kebab joint. Very few places will freshly the falafel like they do here. I'd prefer to go to Jimmy's at Wynyard and pay a bit for for the vegetarian plate there, but it's such a hassle to get there. This is a great option if for a healthy vegan gluten free option if you're nearby.

Very tasty middle eastern food, decently sized and priced. The pita bread was served separately but not sure if the falafel was gluten free or if the sauces were dairy free - no dietary guidance unfortunately. BYO with no corkage was nice and the bottle shop was just across the road. An unusual building with character. Not the warmest of welcomes and everyone was rushed out at 9:30pm instead of closing time at 10pm. The service was a little off putting to be honest, especially the gentleman, hence the 4 stars.

Food was great! Really accommodating when it comes to allergies, and generally a really great vibe. We went there with a group of 7 and the food came out quickly and tasted delicious, I'd recommend the grilled eggplant, it had a delightful crunchiness throughout, and had a unique mix of flavours that worked really well. My partner is a coeliac and they went out of their way to ensure the food was prepared separately, and literally half the menu was gluten free so she was like a kid in a candy shop. Considering we were waiting probably less than 15 minutes and it came out the same time as everybody else's, you'd be hard pressed to find a better experience anywhere in Sydney.
