Food and staff are amazing. We did the feed me menu and every dish was delicious. The firecracker cauliflower and massaman curry were stand outs. Staff were super friendly and accommodating (we didn't book). They seem to have a great understanding of coeliac disease and made sure all meals were GF. They even put a little candle in our dessert for my birthday. Highly recommend!

I passed by this wonderful cafe and was drawn to it because of the cozy atmosphere and I totally fell in love with the vegan gluten-free lemon cake! I came back twice because it was literally one of the best cakes I've ever had!
Thank you!

Arrived to find only free tables were covered with food containers and glasses from previous customers. Eventually had to ask for table to be cleaned. Gluten free buns had run out. Then food ordered at counter did not arrive. Was told they recorded wrong table number. Was told a fresh order would be made, but eventually arrived mostly cold. Drink fridge was not cold.
Enjoy a charming atmosphere with delightful options and impressive drinks, perfect for a special evening or casual outing with great vibes.

My partner took me here for our first date and now we have been going here consistently for over a year! Everyone is always so friendly & accommodating. The staff are very attentive and care about your experience. There is a wide variety of food and drink options, tapas style and about 4 or 5 dishes are plenty to feed 2 people. It's one of the only places we trust going out as my partner is coeliac and he has never had any repercussions after eating here. The atmosphere is amazing, the Spanish guitar players and the band at nights are fun and friendly and not overly in your face so you can still have a conversation and enjoy the music at the same time. I've always loved the courtyard area with the fairy lights, it makes it seem magical - also the new inside renovations are looking great! Honestly if I had the $$ my partner and I were even joking/ hypothesising about having our wedding reception here it is that great.
Awesome work Gypsy Team, keep it up!
Expect an inviting atmosphere with warm lighting, soft music, and a view of the kitchen, perfect for enjoying a range of delicious offerings.

We came here for lunch on a Sunday, we had a really enjoyable time. The service was very friendly and always there when needed. The bread tastes amazing, I definitely recommend having a piece as entree. If you’re vegan, you can have olive oil instead of butter. No gluten free option unfortunately. They have a vegan menu which highlights the dishes which are vegan friendly. Also gluten free is accommodated, you just have to ask as the menu doesn’t show any dietary icons. The atmosphere was amazing, warm light and soft lounge music playing in the background. You can see the kitchen which makes it very authentic. A wide range of really good wine and aperitif’s. It’s definitely a bit more expensive but worth every bite.
A charming venue with unique twists on Indian classics, great hospitality, and something for everyone, making it a delightful dining spot.

Nice ambience, lovely staff who were more than happy to point out vegan options. Onion bhaji a bit raw and sticky in the middle. Pumpkin macadamia curry leaf dish was truly so so delicious I will think about her for days. Goan curry with beetroot rhubarb koftas and lemon rice aggressively average for $38 - couldn’t taste the lemon and the sauce wasn’t the best I’ve had. Most disappointing part of the evening was the “naan”. I asked if either of the sourdough naans could be veganised without butter and was assured the original one could. Paid $12 for what I’m pretty sure was a single pale shop-bought gluten-free pitta. If the staff had explained the vegan option was actually a gluten-free replacement dish instead of the thick naan, I would never have ordered it. So disappointing but there are definitely some fabulous flavours to be had here if you're steered in the right direction!
Experience a cozy spot with a vibrant atmosphere and a delicious tasting menu crafted from fresh ingredients—definitely book ahead!

Delicious, high quality food. Staff were attentive (despite it being a busy dinner service) and the kitchen was very accommodating to a coeliac safe dietary requirement (strictly gluten free, taking care to ensure no cross contamination).
The homemade gluten free bread was delicious as was all the food we ordered.
Highly recommend that you make a booking if you want to be assured of a table - they are super busy!
Do yourself a favour and book a table. You won’t be disappointed!

I visited Raw Raw Raw at Fremantle Markets on Saturday.
Their ingredients & prices are displayed clearly on all food items.
Gluten free, dairy free & vegan.
I eat mainly meat because I have a lot of food intolerances but I dabble in fresh fruit products & when I find food artists like this vendor I always like to try what’s on offer because they’re always so darn creative with their recipes & sometimes it’s a gold mine.
On this occasion I was blown away with the variety & information available & the treats were absolutely delicious, fresh, free of any preservatives or dairy or gluten & I didn’t feel any allergic reaction.
It’s so rare to find fresh ingredients without seed oils & preservatives & I can highly recommend Raw Raw Raw as a good quality fresh food vendor.
I bought a little “snickers” cake & a box to try each of their “balls” & each one had it’s own distinct flavour.
I would love to visit again for another stash before I leave Perth.
Absolutely to die for!!!

Excellent spot for an anniversary 👏
The venue itself is a mix between an authentic Italian restaurant and an art gallery of local artists.
The food is certainly a strong point in all aspects of their ability to prepare food in many ways including vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and many others.
The venues owner Is lovely and sweet in which he loves to teach people about the artistry and the general knowledge of wine or food.
Celebrating Our anniversary the venue went out of their way and prepare us a display of flaming desserts with writing in chocolate sauce.
Overall we will be returning to this restaurant for many events and are planning on continuing our anniversary events with Nunzios... Well done!

Nice little cafe, that offers all day breakfasts... and Breaks' menu is varied enough to suit everyone. Gluten free options available.
Big food portion and a good selection of coffee and tea too. One of my favorite cafe in Freo!
Disappointing experience all around, especially after their sarcastic response to constructive critism. It is a shame, because they really do have potential, but the drinks are seriously lacking. At a Mexican restaurant you expect a solid margarita. Making a decent margarita is not difficult, but it’s clear they skimp on ingredients to save money.
As mentioned, what makes this worse is their attitude toward feedback. Instead of taking constructive criticism on board, they responded with sarcasm, which says everything about their approach to customers. If they refuse to improve, they’re doomed to fail. The only redeeming factor is their gluten free options, I wouldn't say it was tasty, but catering for celiacs always deserves a star, but that alone doesn’t justify a visit.
Esten here twice on our trip. The food is good and they are accommodating to changes to the menu. The grilled fish and chips are gluten free which is why we came here.
Amazing hosts make for a memorable bottomless brunch experience with exceptional service and tailored options for various dietary preferences.

Jesus, Andrea, Thomas, Alberto and Letizia were amazing hosts and really looked after our whole table for our birthday bottomless brunch! We had a couple of people who were vegetarian and gluten intolerant that could come at the last minute and the staff were so accommodating getting their needs met and alternative dishes to the main menu made. The rest of the team made sure no one was left with an empty glass and looked after us so so well
This cozy spot feels like a home away from home, where heartfelt dishes and a welcoming vibe create unforgettable dining experiences.

During this economic climate, my friends and I and my husband seldom head out for a meal. This is the only place that we feel is worth it.
Every single time we come out to Hinata which is as often as we can, we are absolutely blown away by the soulful heart warming food, the exceptional service and the peaceful and cosy atmosphere. The atmosphere makes you feel like you're eating at a friend's home as the service is so accommodating and welcoming . Tomoe and her team are wonderful people.
My friend is coeliac and has had some run ins with other venues that have not been able to adjust to her dietaries. Every time at Hinata she is treated with such care and respect when she has to say she has dietaries. The team bend over backwards to ensure she has as wonderful an experience as the rest of us.
I simply cannot express my appreciation for Hinata cafe. It is my absolute favourite place! You can just tell everything they do comes from the depths of their heart! we will return as we have been doing :)
Had a truly magical burger here last night. It was practically perfectly balanced with meat, sauce, bun and it tasted fantastic. The gluten free bun was also brilliant. A small chips is also huge!
Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with a mix of wholesome options and plenty of choices for those looking for vegan delights.

By far! The Best Falafel I’ve had in Australia 🥹🥹🥹Omg. The place is spacious, calm and friendly. The food was wtf amazing: fresh, flavorful and authentic. Take a break from boring fish and chips / sandwiches - come here!! Incredible options for vegetarians and gluten free diets. I just can’t get over how amazing it was! 😭♥️

For casual cafe dining or take out coffee, you will find the local community here in force. Best coffee around and a really welcoming staff. All the regulars, and there are many, are known and greeted by name. Children and dogs are accommodated with ease. Gluten free and vegetarian/vegan requirements are covered. The atmosphere is carefree and sometimes a little loud when busy so if you want to catch up on some work or reading, remember the ear plugs 😂

Food and coffee is great. The coffee gets really busy so if you're hungry have a look at the menu before you come in because you can't see it from the end of the line. Staff are really helpful about allergies and all the food on the menu had a gluten free option.
The Norfolk Hotel has one of my favourite atmospheres of any restaurant or cafe around. You are surrounded by greenery and walls of history dating back centuries. It's a popular place so it's always bustling with people out for a meal or just a drink after spending time at the beach. You really can't help but feel like you are in holiday.
I did really appreciate the portion sizes when it came to the burger and chips which was tasty and filling while being a healthier option than many other burger places due to their portioning! The share platter was an incredible sight which was filled with delicious meats, breads and salads! The wait staff were very accommodating, remaking a salad to be gluten free when the error was on our end for assuming it was gluten free. There are also so many dairy free and gluten free options or alternatives to almost every item on the menu!
The bar staff however tended to ignore customers waiting to order a drink to the point the bar was crowded with people waiting and filled the cups with more ice than necessary (as you can see in the photo) so the coke was very watered down, but I believe this can be attributed to the number of things they had to do on a busy evening.
Overall it was a very relaxing and pleasant meal.
We were out walking the dog this morning and came across the Cool Room. We managed to find a seat outside at one of the retro tables with a retro sun umbrella and realised that just about every table had at least one dog laying beneath it. Honey, our super cool Whippet, was greated by a small oodle of some variety. I walked to the counter to order and noticed a few of the customers sitting at the inside tables were tucking into some very nice looking meals. While I waited the short time to be served I noticed the cakes on display, I wasn't hungry but was swayed to order the gluten free carrot cake as it looked spectacular. For my wife I ordered a Almond Friand. When I returned to the table Honey had layed down under the table on the synthetic lawn. This is the first time at a cafe that she has not been anxious. The cakes were delivered to the table just after I sat down and the coffee and tea arrived soon after. The tea pot was huge, awesome value for money. Tea cup was a gorgeous antique, probably from the shop next door. Coffee was very nice. Lovely friendly staff. The meals coming out for other customers were large and looked fantastic, we made plans to return tomorrow for lunch. Such a relaxing venue not surprising it was busy but still had a few spare tables. We will definitely be returning again. If you are not a fan of dogs there are plenty of tables inside or choose a table away from the k9's as this is definitely a dog friendly cafe.
Flavorful dishes and an impressive wine selection paired with an energetic vibe create a memorable experience for everyone.

We went with friends last week. On the booking I'd noted that one of our group eats gluten free and Jayson gave her a menu on which he'd circled the GF dishes which our friend much appreciated. We tasted a number of dishes and really enjoyed the flavour combinatons of all of them. The wine list has a good range of varieties. We were served by Jayson who has a really effervescent nature while chef Kenny continues to provide wonderful food options as he did for all the years at Manuka.

Only place to go for great fresh seafood in Fremantle, possibly in Perth! Lots of choice, including lots for gluten free peeps like us. Just ignore the fact that it looks like it comes out of the 1970s and then enjoy. Friendly knowledgeable staff and you can get a drink too. Right on the waterfront, and you can eat inside or outside.
Absolutely amazing food and service. Only picked up take away for a lazy sunday and am so glad we tried mother india! Only waited an extra 15 mins and the staff we so apologetic. We didnt mind waiting at all but they still threw in lots of complimentary extras. All mains are GF which is perfect for me as a coeliac. All dishes were devine! We couldn't believe the generous amount of perfectly cooked spanish macky in the goan fish curry. It will definately be a regular for us now. Winderful freo gem. Well done mother india! Thank you!

Perfectly acceptable, food was okay, pretty quick, bathrooms clean and service decent. I felt uncomfortable for some of the wait staff though as the front of house lead was a bit full on/demanding - polite to customers but micromanaging and harsh on staff (who were doing a fine job).
Good gluten free and vegetarian options.
Dog friendly and across from a park so good for dog spotting.
I absolutely love this place! The food is consistently amazing, with gluten-free options, and incredibly fast service.
Szechuan chilli beef is a must-try. Pair the beautifully tender meat packed full of flavour with their garlic vegetables and buttery Singapore noodles, and you won't be disappointed.
Food cooked to perfection, friendly and efficient service, excellent atmsophere. We highly recommend! I needed something gluten free as well as no tomatoes. Not very Italian! But their barramundi & vegetables was just so perfect, as well as the Italian dish my partner ordered. We will be back!
Amazing place , Steak was amazing as was the steak tartare and the desert menu , catered beautifully for the gluten free of us that was attending.Hidden little gem on the jetty highly recommend , great staff and the menu is superb! I am surprised this is not on the agenda of more people heading in to Freo !
