So glad we dined here while staying in the Temple Bar section of Dublin! Server was very knowledgeable about gluten free items and helped me with the menu, I had the fish and chips and my friend had the Shepards pie! Both were amazing! I had a local gf beer and drinks were delicious! Highly recommend, and I will definitely return!
Went with my family. On a calming Saturday night.food was slightly highly priced however tasty itself .
Would've expected something slightly more authentic as the starter had also came out wrong .however still a lovely meal and plated nicely.with celiac disease, the gluten free option were good đ. Recommend the gluten free desert ,the brownie with icecream .

Given that my girlfriend is extremely celiac, We were offered food that is gluten free.
I would not be writing a review if it actually was gluten free.
I am very disappointed how they have not supplied her with the correct food.
We asked if they did gluten free, she said YES and she offered what they could do to make the best possible gluten free meal.
I woke up to my girlfriend being sick, dizzy, couldnât stand up, shaking on the floor.
I am so angry with this. đĄ
Amazing food, very professional and friendly staff. All dishes were made gluten-free upon request. Nice garden seating area and cosy interior. Will definitely come back.

I have never ever received a service as horrible as this place last night.
We were 4 adults and 4 kids (aged 3-8). The booking was only for 6 but last minute, 2 others joined. The place was not packed, and when we were seated to the 6-pax table reserved, we asked if we can add additional chairs. The waiter didnât reply and instead a manager or a guy who answers the phone for reservations, came to us in a quite hostile manner; no greetings, no manner and was almost really angry at us saying why didnât we call to update him. It was a literal âlast minuteâ addition as in decided when we met outside the restaurant. We were with kids and it was embarrassing to have this âadultâwhoâs supposed to serve us, speak to us so horribly. Not even letting us finish speak to respond. If only we werenât with kids who are hungry, we wouldâve left immediately. There was no need to be treated so rudely in a restaurant. Our waitress took possibly 15 mins or more and if we havenât requested to be served, no one would come offer even drinks or water.
Additionally, we chose this place because the food here used to be good, but quality has deteriorated. Their burrata cheese (part of the antipasti) was hard like texture of a rubber.
We ordered gluten-free pizza and it wasnât cooked well and really tasted off. Never order that.
Thereâs really no reason to come here unless you have no other choice. Really sad because the location wouldâve been nice but the overall atmosphere is ruined with the horrible service and low quality food.
We had an amazing Sunday brunch with a group of 15, and the service was exceptional. Two of my friends follow a gluten-free and vegetarian diet, and we were pleased to find plenty of options for those with dietary restrictions.
For groups of eight or more, the restaurant typically offers a group menu. However, since it was a quiet day, I spoke with the manager in advance when making our reservation, and they were happy to accommodate our request for an Ă la carte menu to cater to specific dietary needs.
Our group enjoyed both the set dinner menu and the group menu, both of which were absolutely worth the price. The food was delicious, well-portioned, and satisfying.
A special thanks to Zeha, who took great care of us during our visit. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this restaurant!
Terrible service today! Firstly the place was freezing and the waiter asked the manager to turn on the heating at our requestâŠ. He was told no! Disgusting service we were sitting there freezing also. There are zero options for gluten free so I couldnât eat. Another 4 people sat down for 2 minutes and leftâŠ. We should have done the same. Dump!

Work Xmas lunch was a winner! Food was delicious and the staff took perfect care of my gluten free requirements. The bar is also a really cozy spot. Would love to return!

First time going to PYE tonight and will definitely return! So happy to find a really dog friendly pub; it was a busy Saturday night but as soon as a quieter section of the pub opened up, we were taken there and our dog got her own dog bed as well!
I'm coeliac so I was also very happy about the gluten free pizza bases (burger buns also available) and they made sure our chips were cooked in a separate fryer. Thank you again for the good service!
What a shame from a unique bakery into a soulless mass produced cafe... Lost all it's magic and appeal. Poor choice of deserts and limited gluten free. What a shame, owner needs to bring back the queens of tart!

The menu consists of 2 types of burgers, cheeseburger and hamburger. This makes choosing a lot easier for people with choice stress. They also have gluten-free burgers and they tasted very delicious (see photo), including gluten-free fries. Inside it is not very pleasant to dine for a long time (kind of like a more luxurious McDonald's, really aimed at eating quickly and leaving again), but if you want to quickly settle down, this is a perfect stop.
I went on Sunday Easter for brunch and even I have forgotten to make a reservation I was lucky and got a table, I had a gluten free Irish breakfast and the food was very good, I also had a chai latte made with oat milk and itâs one off my favorites now.
I definitely will come back there, there was a gluten free cake but I couldnât try.
We had 3 people in our party and only one had a good food experience. Unfortunately, the 2.people that ordered gluten free pasta dishes were served extremely boring dishes with no flavor and absolutely no attempt at presentation. The gluten free pasta dishes looked like something from a children's menu - no exaggeration, I promise. My dish, Penne Regine AllâArrabbiata, was tasty and well presented. I enjoyed it! Service was attentive. Atmosphere was ok. Tables were close together, somewhat unnecessarily since there was plenty of space in the restaurant. We will not be returning.
Iâve always enjoyed the food and service here. Last visit was a little disappointing, food seemed to lack that extra touch and was somewhat run of the mill. The gluten free options were limited due to cooking methods and cross contamination. Service was okay, but given it was quiet and very early it really wasnât that much of an effort to accommodate us. Hope to see the spark back in this place, it is a gem usually!

Haven't been here in years. Due to visiting my mother in the mater hospital, I ended up having a meal here. I couldn't have been looked after any better and though there was a glitch re the phone payment the patience afforded me and my companion meant all was eventually sorted without the need to do the washing up đ I had the gluten free fish and chips and beshoffs watch out they were excellent. My friend had the pulled pork burger type meal and said it was sooo tasty.
I highly recommend the place and hats off the the staff especially the man who looked after us.
Definitely be going again next time though hope it will be for better reasons.
Thank you all at Madigans you mades us feel welcome and we left happy
Great gluten-free pizza.
But, but, but: I was really unsure about the desserts. I don't drink alcohol on principle and asked which dessert was gluten-free. When I pointed out that the cake they'd recommended to me had layers of gin, they said it was jam. And? It's still alcoholic. Honestly, that shattered my trust in the staff.
PS: The espresso was great.
This place is absolutely incredible. It is tapas style and you can really taste how fresh the food is. No matter how long the line is I think itâs worth the wait, also they can make almost anything celiac/gluten friendly.
Great cafe! My husband had delicious French toast and I had Irish beef burger with Gluten Free bread and fries. Good GF options and they were very accommodating!
The food was fine but the service was terribly disappointing. Waitress just walked up and asked, âready to order?â without a welcome, introduction, explanation of the multiple menus, or anything. I said I might need help for a dairy allergy, she said to âorder the shepherdâs pieâ (which I thankfully knew would put me in the hospital) and then said âor download the allergy infoâ and then just left. After later taking our order, she said, âand gluten allergyâ before again walking off. I had to call her back to correct her which made me terribly nervous since I have quite a severe dairy allergy; itâs not just a preference or even an intolerance. I felt unwelcome and burdensome. We ordered very little since we felt so hurried and unhappy, despite originally hoping to make a fun night of it (and spend all our remaining euros) on our last day in Dublin.
