John Paul was an amazing server that went above and beyond to make our experience fun and memorable. He is a kind human who made us feel special and this really meant a great deal because my friends and I met for my birthday. We love the location and the food, but seriously Twigs is lucky to have John Paul on their staff. Thank you! I also appreciate that they have a vegan and a gluten free menu upon request.
With unique toppings and a fluffy crust, this spot has elevated pizza to a whole new level, making it a must-try for enthusiasts.

Stopped here because their website said gf waffles. The waffle was good, but made on a shared griddle. I got sick after eating here, due to cross contamination. Please! Invest in another waffle iron, or don't advertise Gluten free!
Stylish spot with a trendy vibe, perfect for dates or hanging with friends, but expect a lively atmosphere and some wait for your table.

One of our family's favorite places to eat. Everything is fresh and delicious. I love the NomNom Bowl but you can't really go wrong here. Gluten free options available. Recommended
Parking can be tricky, but the lively vibe and upbeat music set the stage for a memorable meal experience, even if it's not the coziest spot.

I have Celiac disease and I feel totally safe eating here, let alone the best BBQ in Vancouver! Thank you for accommodating my dietary needs and for the excellent food and service!
Cozy ambiance with rustic brick decor, deliciously fresh dishes, and a perfect spot for a romantic dinner, making it a must-visit!

They have gluten free which is nice. The sever felt a little bothered we were there. We got pad Thai and the sauce they put it in is horrible. It made the pad Thai spongy. It was noticeable enough to not want to come back

My wife is celiac so finding great food that is safe for her to eat at restaurants is not always easy. This place is a must try for celiac / gluten free options. Careful of cross contamination and knowledgeable.

For how expensive it is, the service us not as good. I told the server that I have a gluten intolerance, but I feel like she didn't take me seriously. I ordered a caesar salad, and they still added the farro. She kept asking if I was celiac, and I told her "no"... I still told her it was a severe intolerance. I also told her no potatoes for the main dish, and she didn't offer extra veggies in exchange. But, my friend ordered the same dish as I ordered, and the waitress suggested extra veggies or salad (because my friend didn't want potatoes as well). The food is good, but service can be better.
When I saw the difference in size between the excellent grilled cheese sandwich that I had and the excellent although gluten free sandwich my potential business partner had I didn’t know whether I was on some YouTube prank show or whether I had fallen into the wrong side of a telescope.
How do you sit across from someone you are treating to something special and it looks like it comes out of a joke box? You have my sandwich, and then the mini me sandwich! It would have been even more embarrassing if it hadn’t looked so ridiculous as to have been funny. She mentioned the place down the street gives two because the loaves are so much smaller.
Well I have to say, it’s a bad look.
The Chai was good, but it was just lukewarm. I suppose I could have gone back inside and asked to have it warmed up, but first impressions count.
And my impression here is that they’re hip and they’re downtown and that’s enough.
Stop and look at what you’re doing. Make that chai hot. Make those portions equal.
Go the extra mile.
So here is my edit and response…
Thank you for responding to my review, although it kind of goes to prove my point.
Regarding the chai… One does not sit down and gulp ones chai all at one go. So making it warm is kind of pointless. I don’t rush to my table and drink it all at once. I want to sit and savor it. By the time I got that to the table. It was just warm by the time I’ve had a few sips. It was lukewarm, no one likes lukewarm chai. By the time I had talked to my friend for a few minutes it was cold, and cold chai is disgusting. I learned to make chai from a North African governess in 1973 and have been making it ever since.
One does not sit down and gulp their beverage boiling hot, but rather waits for it to reach the proper temperature. Exactly like any fine tea.
And concerning the ridiculous size difference of the gluten free bread.
Instead of saying you get that it looks stupid but that’s the choice you make, you could say you hear the customer and are continuing to seek a better answer. But what you do is just say, we’re great.
But that plate is still an embarrassment for someone taking out a prospective business partner and doesn’t reflect well on your business. Whatever your reason is.
Expect a vibrant mix of intriguing flavors, ample options, and a great conference room for group gatherings.

Friendly service. Lots of food. Interesting flavors. My wife is gluten-free and was able to find lots of options. Most plates came with a lot of rice with a variety of flavors. There is a nice conference room in the back that would probably work well for meetings or groups gatherings.

I was in the area with a friend and we decided to stop here for lunch. I had the avocado roll with the peanut sauce. The peanut sauce was very good and had a sweet, savory, and almost Smoky flavor. I also had a Thai tea which was good. The service was very good and the waitress made sure that our water cups were full. Regular entrees cost from $16 to $18 depending on what kind of meat you want. They have a separate area that's a lounge with a stocked bar for people who are 21 and over. This is a good spot for a sit-down meal as it was pretty quiet and the restaurants and they had a decent amount of gluten-free and vegetarian options.

Such great food and incredible service. Especially when catering for corporate scenarios. Staff is so very helpful and accommodating. Gluten free and vegan friendly options make ordering easy! Food is delivered within promised time window.
Delicious sushi! Staff was very kind and knowledgeable about gluten in the sushi so we felt confident eating there with gluten sensitivity! We will be back for sure!

Wow where do I begin this is like taking a time machine back to the old Stuart Anderson's Cattle Company of the 80's and 90's. My steak was a perfect medium-rare and the barbecued shrimp were cooked to perfection. They have gluten-free options for meals and desserts with a decent wine selection. If possible make sure to make a reservation they're shorthanded and our server was working extremely hard. All in all a tasty and pleasant experience.

We stopped here a little while back to have dinner while visiting family in Vancouver. The hostess, Tabby, was absolutely fantastic. Her upbeat and friendly demeanor instantly gave us a good vibe and set us up for a wonderful dining and wine-tasting experience. Our server, Dietrich, was phenomenal! He was very knowledgeable about all of the different wines and pairings. He was quick to offer suggestions and get recommendations from the chef to accommodate my gluten allergy. This, unfortunately, is something only some servers are willing to do but is genuinely appreciated. Tabby and Dietrich went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing, memorable dining experience.
Vegan vibes abound with creative dishes that even meat lovers enjoy, plus a cozy outdoor patio and unique drink options to sip on.

I love this place! It's vegan and has gluten-free options. There is plenty for those not limited to eat as well. My other half only has a shrimp allergy, so there are no issues here.
They have banana bread, gluten-free pancakes, and immolation "Just egg" in their burritos. If, like myself, avoiding gluten is not by choice, you can have a burrito bowl. They are delicious too. Everyone I have brought here loves their fake sausage (jackfruit) and steak. The steak has such a good imitation of meat strands that it fooled two meat eaters in my family.
They have great sauces on their dishes, and you can't tell it is fake egg (thanks late life allergies).
The pancake is best eaten fresh and hot. It is delicious, with the great moist, springiness that a pancake should have.
There are also matcha tea drinks, hot chocolate and half-and-half...a half drip coffee and half hot chocolate. It usually comes with roasted mini marshmallows, and if you can have the gluten, Graham cracker crumble.
Tip: Subbing ingredients here gets expensive fast. Just order things as is and try something different each time.
Street parking is free, and there is a very small set of parking spaces beside the taproom they are beside.
The taproom doesn't open until 11am, but you can take you Scratch food inside. They have great options for tap cider and beer, as well as a bottle shop.
There is an outdoor patio to sit at. There are a couple of propane heat sources, but it has been really hit or miss on if they are operating on cold and wet mornings.
