Large and varied gluten free menu which all 6 of us ordered from although only one of our party is coeliac. Separate gluten free menu with so much choice! We had mixed starter, salt and pepper prawn, beef in black bean, szechuan chicken, crispy beef, duck with mixed veg, vermicelli noodles, chips and rice and shared it all. It was so good for our daughter to be able to have Chinese food and, as we all shared, she could try a bit of everything. It was amazing and nicer than any other Chinese restaurant I've been to. They have a full gluten free menu and everything is cooked separately. The service was really good, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this to anyone and well worth travelling for.
A lively spot with unique swing seating, great atmosphere, and a variety of tasty menus makes for an unforgettable dining experience.

nicely decorated and set up, good service from the staff. But the food was far from good. We had a set meal for 3 of us. it came with the smallest chapati I've ever seen (the size of a good biscuit) and there were 2 of them for 3 people. small portions. the starter was inedible and i eat anything and everything. Mains were watery in consistency.
The only large portion was a potatoes dish. I don't go to an Indian restaurant for potatoes.
Everything is gluten free, great if you can't tolerate it so maybe that's why the dishes didn't do it for me in the taste department.
Soda water very expensive, same as a coke.
Surprised there are so many top reviews. so guess its just me!
This spot is a pizza paradise with endless customizable topping options and a lively atmosphere, perfect for gatherings and celebrations!

We hadn't booked on a Saturday night but were able to sit outside. Glad we did, the pizza was amazing, mine waa gluten free and was soft and seemed freshly made, usually they are prepared and crispy. Served by Ellie who was spot on, friendly and helpful. Good spot for people watching and having a meal before a show.

Tested out Zizzi Leeds before a gig at Leeds Arena. Although it was packed with pre gig diners, service was swift and efficient. I found drinks a bit pricey, Peroni 0% £5.30 a bottle and the red wine I was served, did not taste great. My husband had the Lasagne, which was very nice with a beautifully rich neat sauce. I wanted a gluten free choice, but choosing this was not made easy because I was handed an A4 file with differing allergy free dishes on a variety of pages. Why not just give the customer a gluten free menu card. I had the Scicillian Lemon Salmon pasta dish, that was delicious, but the piece of salmon was tiny, hence the 4 stars. Because we had a bare hour, these were the only dishes tried, but I would certainly give Zizzi, Leeds another try.
Chill vibes and stylish decor create a perfect spot for tasty builds-your-own burgers, and don’t miss the 2-for-10 cocktails deal!

Food was great! We shared two of the gluten free pizzas as one of us is coeliac. Best gluten free pizza we've tried! Staff were really on it with intolerances too, checked first thing at the door. Gluten free menu is quite substantial too so there is lots of options, would highly recommend.
Great vibes and a fun atmosphere set the stage for a memorable dining experience with an array of tasty options and perfect tunes.

Dead good gluten free menu. Service is lovely and easy with the clips for drinks and when you’re ready to order. Food was lush, loved the loaded duck fries and seaweed

Best vegan pizza in Leeds! Also best gluten free pizza in Leeds. Such a great place to go for multiple dietary requirements. And the owner is really lovely.
Around £35 for a tiny burger and some chips, some garlic bread and one drink which we thought was a rip off. Weren’t allowed to share a refillable drink. Our friends who have dietary requirements were given an extremely dry burger with no option to add any alternative sauce as the one they usually use is not gluten free. Our waitress Ellie however did make us feel welcome and was very helpful.
Enjoy a lively atmosphere with quick service, perfect for families and friends looking to share tasty options before a concert or event.

They have great gluten free bases here, the best gluten free pizza I’ve had. So fresh, delicious. The staff were very nice and chatting to me and my dad before we headed to the slipknot gig. I would say, I prefer wine glasses rather than tumblers, as you can see that’s my rose wine - be nicer to have a nice wine glass or different glasses
DO NOT TRUST WITH ALLERGENS. I came to have dinner with my boyfriend and his mum, we are all lactose and gluten intolerant and we informed our server. We ordered 3 steaks dairy free with chips, and then we were still hungry so we ordered a fourth steak to share. After the first couple of bites of the fourth steak we realised that it was cooked in butter. We asked another server and she confirmed that there was butter on the steak. They removed it and didn’t offer us another one, they did take it off the bill though. The first server apologised. However, to compensate us they gave us 3 vouchers for free ice cream from the ice cream machine, I was very confused because their ice cream is dairy ice cream and the cones have gluten so we did not use these. Thankfully we only had an intolerance, although my boyfriend and I had to cancel plans we had after due to feeling so ill. However, in the case that this mistake were to be repeated with guests that have an allergy, this would be a severe health hazard and possibly fatal. So, please take this as a reminder to double check that ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING is suitable for dietary requirements when dining in this restaurant.
Charming spot with a lively atmosphere, perfect for gathering with friends and kids, plus an impressive cinema experience.

Big shout out to Carly who went above and beyond for me on my visit today. When arriving, she greeted my family and I with a big smile and was very polite throughout the night. I have a gluten intolerance in which she was happy to accommodate for and ensured everything was checked thoroughly so I could enjoy a lovely meal. Will definitely be coming back again soon!!! :)

We were greeted and sat down quickly by a friendly waitress but then didn't return to take our orders and kinda just forgot about us even though the restaurant was really quiet when we arrived and we were sat close to the main entrance. I was about to leave the table to ask if someone could take our orders before thankfully another waitress noticed us waiting and came over. She then had to scold the other waitress and tell her to start taking orders for other customers who were still waiting. A couple who arrived after us were waiting about 15 minutes, before they got up and left frustrated because no one came. I don't think they even noticed that they'd left. No one really seems to be actively looking to see if anyone needs anything, and were often just chatting at the bar.
We ordered the same starter, but one was required to be gluten free which wasn't an issue at all, however when they arrived they didn't specify which one was gluten free so we were a bit anxious about that. The sake was great, but we got the bento boxes for the main which were kinda just okay, not worth how expensive they are in my opinion. I've been here a few times before and the food has been great but I left feeling a little bit disappointed this time.
Charming spot with a cozy vibe, offering superb quality and plenty of options for a welcoming experience.

We always get a great meal at Pizza express. We probably eat more regularly there due to the GF vegetarian options because one of us is coeliac and PE takes allergens seriously. He gets a delicious meal that won't hurt later!
It is expensive now and the gold membership makes a big difference to the bill -£16 this time, which puts it more in line with the place next door. That may be a great option for others but does not do GF.
Service is friendly and helpful, too.

Been wanting to visit here for some time, finally made it and it does not disappoint. Very busy, extremely popular (for good reason), and dog friendly too. I was fortunate and managed to get a table early afternoon on a Saturday, but quite a few folk had to be turned away as no tables free. Young, efficient and very friendly, charming team work here. The menu changes every day, so you need to check their website in order to see what to order - there are no printed menus on the tables for this reason. Lots of innovative choices for vegetarians and vegans and gluten free options available as well. I had a rhubarb kombucha and was slightly disappointed that it was a bottled one, had expected it to have been homemade. That minor point aside, I found the food and service to be outstanding. The mixed greens with sunflower crunch was tasty, though it took some chomping through. Now then.... the smashed potatoes... d.i.v.i.n.e!!! Good portion. Smashed Maris Bard spuddies with garlic salt and gochujang mayo. Most excellent and so, so moreish. I toyed with the notion of treacle tart for pud, but was slightly hesitant due to its £7.50 price tag. The table next to me ordered one. I did order it in a moment of spontaneity and, oh my word, I am so glad that I did. Supremely marvelous, out of this world delicious. Worth visiting Leeds for that alone. Tasty as, melt in the mouth, gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. Treacle tart, crystallised ginger and vegan cardamom custard. Oh, folks, if this is on the menu when you visit, you must try it. I can still taste it now. I'd like one of these every day!! Quelle pigess, heh heh. Has products for sale too. 10 stars easy peasy. Utterly highly recommended. Brilliant. Definitely coming back here.

Excellent tasty pasta dishes. Lovely staff
We had the gluten free pasta which they could use for any of the dishes. It was high quality gf.
My only constructive thought would be to have more than one type of gf pasta. Two of us were gf and we shared dishes. So it would have been nice to have a different shape.
Experience top-notch service and a menu that caters to your needs, making for an unforgettable outing in a welcoming atmosphere.

We went for an afternoon tea, for my hen party. To be quite honest, it really was disappointing. We checked if they could do certain dietary needs, and they said it was OK. My friend that booked it sent 2 emails confirming it, then was called 3 separate times from members of staff. When we got there, we were basically told by an over-zealous manager that my friend who is gluten & lactose intolerant, not allergic, wouldn't be able to eat. As they treat intolerance as it were an allergy. The guy came to the table 3 times and was quite aggressive with my friend. He only took stock of his attitude when another friend told him to stop, as he was ruinening our day. They eventually said they would knock something up. But we waited 70 mins to be served, so we were rushed to eat and to be quite honest it wasn't a very nice experience. The manager that took over was very nice. She tried to do her best to make the best of a truly bad afternoon. She provided us with a bottle of complimentary champagne, but I was so disappointed.
A cozy spot with a great variety of tasty options, perfect for relaxing mornings and dog-friendly vibes.

I've visited twice in the last few weeks and cannot fault the place. Plenty of meat, vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options available. I've had the homemade warm banana bread (which is delicious), the residence granola and the residence avocado on toast - ALL very tasty! Staff have always been very friendly and I've managed to get seated with my dog both times. Making this my local breakfast spot from now on.

I’m sorry to say that I’m extremely disappointed with the service I received on the above date. It was a bottomless brunch for 4 people.
I booked this as part of my girlfriend’s 21st birthday and I was shocked by the horrific speed of the drinks service.
I booked this as before this specific visit we had an extremely positive experience with bottomless brunch. We did this a couple of months ago were we had service from “Livia” who was amazing. She really looked after us and she made the day really important. She was always smiling and cared for us throughout. Words cannot describe how amazing she was.
However on our most recent visit, we feel somewhat ignored. We only have 5 drinks in 2 hours and one point we were sat waiting for 20 minutes without a drink. The restaurant was no more busy than it was last time and the service was somewhat rude for a male member of staff. The staff were good explaining the allergy’s as my partner does have celiac. But the services was slow and we felt that no one was really looking after us. The drinks were as expected and they were really nice, along with the food.
We feel extremely let down by the service we received and for the price feel like it was not worth the stay. I feel like due to this experience we will not come back and it seems strange how we have revived two different types of service from the same restaurant. Due to this it is unlikely that we will come back to this restaurant.
Even worse that I could not provide feedback on the website. I have emailed the specific restaurant and they have still yet to reply 1 month on.
