Was in town with my daughter who is Celiac. She was so excited to see that the had gluten free pasta. However, her excitement turned to disappointment when our server informed us that the Alfredo sauce is made with a flour based roux. So unfortunately she had to settle for the gluten free pepperoni pizza, which was good but didn’t make up for her craving for Fettuccini Alfredo. That being said, the service was good and the staff was knowledgeable regarding being gluten free which was appreciated.
With a unique atmosphere and the option to build your own pizza, this spot impresses with fresh dough and a variety of toppings, perfect for any preference.

This has happened several times now where they basically put 3 shreds of cheese on the entire pizza and call it a day… I have celiac disease so this is one of the only pizza joints in town that’s safe for me to eat at and I would really love to have cheese on my pizza. If I order in person it’s never a problem but on the app or DoorDash and it never has more than a whisper of cheese. Please please for the love of cheese, be consistent so I get what I pay for 🥹

Highly recommend Karma for people with gluten sensitivities. The staff here are very knowledgeable about the ingredients and wheat-free tamari is the default soy sauce on the table. The menu is clearly marked. No dedicated fryer, however. Skillful and friendly staff and high-quality food and drinks.
A must-visit for pizza lovers, this spot stands out for its creative vegan options, unique crusts, and a dog-friendly patio vibe.

Once again, vibes. Vibes are sooooo off. And the pizza is totally mediocre especially for the price. The price is waaaay high. And their gluten free pizza is incredibly low quality and sucks so so so so hard.
With a cozy vibe and family-friendly atmosphere, this place offers creative pizza options and vibrant wall art, perfect after a day of exploring.

The red sauce was very disappointing, in our opinion it tasted like canned spaghetti sauce. We strongly recommend Pizzicletta for regular pizza and NiMarco’s has the best gluten free option.
A top spot for juicy burgers served hot, and a must-try root beer that keeps fans coming back for more!

Wow. A little hot bowl of mic droppin’ goodness found here. A homey fast paced open kitchen atmosphere creates to the vibe. Kids bowls were a hit. Mic Drop! Dish with chefs recommended spicy broth was unbelievable!! Gluten free noodle option for the wife. Make sure if you don’t like spice to ask ahead if dishes are spicy. Cooks are amazing team workers. They didn’t even say a word to each other and I watched them prepare almost 100 dishes while I sat there. Just straight business!!

To say that I am disappointed is an understatement... We have been coming to Tinderbox Kitchen since 2011 and have been dining there every time we are in Flagstaff. We drive almost 3 hours. We made a reservation a month ago to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we were called by the owner, Nick, the day before to let us know they had a private event going on and we would need to either cancel our reservation OR they could see us at their sister location, Teatro, at the same time as the original reservation.
I am gluten free... I do not normally eat Italian, but, Nick said, "You will be well taken care of" so we decided to try it out. We did a little research on Teatro and they are known for their superior service and wine knowledge which we were excited about. Our experience was average. The hostess asked if it was our anniversary and we said "Yes". Our server was fine but at no time provided any guidance on wine, any info on the food, basically average. The food was fine, I could only pick from half of the menu and they were accommodating with a pasta substitution so I could eat. The manager never approached our table, even though he was wandering around, to say anything about our issue with Tinderbox.
When we received the bill, there was no acknowledgment of our inconvenience or any kind of compensation. Now, I am not expecting our meal to be free, but I was thinking a dessert? Appetizer? Something to say, "Hey, thanks for staying with our group of restaurants and spending $250 on food that wasn't your first or second choice on a pretty important night."
Had the manager even just said anything, a thank you, Happy Anniversary, anything, we would not be so upset.. I just thought THAT Place Projects would be a little more professional and upscale.

This is a good mediterranean place in town. Kids options were delicious. They had pizza and pasta. My taverna bowl was excellent. The restaurant has a good vibe. It is located in a small mall so parking is not a hassle. Service was friendly and were able to accommodate our request for a both. They have gluten free options.
Enjoy a welcoming vibe with attentive service that goes the extra mile to create personalized dining experiences for every guest.

Savannah did an excellent job and was very attentive and helpful. I have celiac disease (can’t have gluten) and had to order off of the gluten free menu. She was very knowledgeable about what items are gluten free and made us fresh house salads with no croutons. It’s challenging to find restaurants that I can eat at so I am very grateful to have so many food options to choose from!
Thanks again for making our meal so enjoyable!
Unique pizza and tasty wings are the stars here, making it a go-to spot with a cozy patio vibe, despite some mixed reviews on service.

- Gluten free pepperoni sausage Pizza high quality ingredients 5/5
- Caesar salad huge tasty portion 5/5
- Hot wings crispy and tender the hot sauce was okay 4/5
- Calamari the worst thing we’ve tasted was not fresh and stinky. The sweet sauce made it worse!! 0/5
Service was not great because they messed up our order twice but they redeemed themselves by refunding the old smelly tasting calamari. Overall prices were low and quality aside from the calamari was good. Would come back.
I used to go here all the time and it was a happening spot very lively.
Being said, I went there last night with my wife and kids. Dude behind the counter said something and I was like "what" because I couldn't understand him, he was trying to speak really soft and left me guessing. Im hard of hearing and it wasn't loud inside at alll in customer service soft spoken is horrible. And no eye contact or care about who was ordering very cold not comfortable.
I ordered 2 Philly cheese steaks with gluten-free wraps and 3 chicken cheese pitas for my kids.
This took some doing as again, I was having trouble understanding the guy and he didn't seem to know what was on the menu or care to actually take my order. I had to ask 3 or 4 times would the wrap be GF, as he wouldn't acknowledge my request or recant my order.
We also apparently perturbed him by asking for cups to get water, we did ask 3 times. Perhaps too many times.
So service was terrible.
We received our order and somehow everything was cold and gross.. like nasty, gooey, soggy. Mind you I did tip the guy, as it's apparently customary to tip prior to receiving horrible service and food.
Pita Pit has gone to the dogs, wow just a big let down. For what you pay $70 ish. Being that I had an hour drive ahead of me we ordered to go and yes I had to ask for a to go bag. One should expect so much better spending that much for a snack.
Portions are very small not at all like what is advertised in the pictures my guess is 30% accurate not packed in there the advertising is wrong.
Go anywhere else like Bashas and get some quality snacks that would be a better investment for your time and money.

Great staff super knowledgeable with allergies, my wife explained to him that I was celiac and he even went ahead (the server) and ordered for me, the gluten free pasta we delicious, also salad is available and you can’t go wrong with that. Gave us some extra chocolates for our kids. Had to wait around fifteen-twenty minutes because they were busy, but it was worth the wait.
A great spot for pizza lovers, offering an impressive unique crust that keeps everyone smiling with a welcoming vibe and playful humor.

Standard Denny's With the standard menu. Coffee good but weak. Omelets excellent, but again no gluten free English muffins. That was one of the reasons I went there when on the road. They were better than the traditional English muffins. Will instead be going to a local chain called Eggstacy with gluten free muffins and gluten free pancakes
Charming vibe with a clean, welcoming atmosphere and attentive service makes for a delightful hangout spot.

Great food, gluten free options very helpful. The staff was cheerful and very good about keeping the office inside and outside clean. Someone even stopped by our table and offered to refill our drinks.
Tell them your Gluten Free and they will lettuce wrap your burgers. Limited seating inside. Drive thru always great. Customer service is wonderful even at drive thru. Luann
I'd give zero stars if I could. If you have a wheat or gluten allergy, don't eat in Flagstaff, AZ. They do not follow safe food handling procedures for allergies.
The person who does their fry station also handles wrapping up the burgers. They go from touching burger buns (wheat/gluten) with their gloved hands and without changing gloves, go to the uncooked fries and scoops them up and sticks them in the baskets and fries them cross-contacting all the fries and the fryer oil with wheat and gluten.
The manager on duty proceeded to state this how they always do their fries. Insisting incorrectly the fry oil at 350 degrees kills the allergens. Heat does does nothing to kill allergen proteins, just keeps them in circulation.
Don't risk your health or your life eating here if you have food allergies and don't buy the hype on their website, they have zero clue about avoiding cross-contact.
Tucked away in a corner of Flagstaff, this hidden gem offers a delightful experience worth seeking out.

I didn’t know this place existed. Really decent food but the service was great. The staff was very accommodating to the people in my party that have an extreme gluten intolerance. It tucked away in the corner of Flagstaff but I would recommend the journey.
