Cute gluten-free cafe and bakery known for their donuts and brunch menu. Food is pricier than a typical bake shop but the quality more than makes up for it. A must-try even if you aren't on a gluten-free diet.

We dined at Mirchi for the first time last night. We love Indian food and Mirchi didn't disappoint. The food was fabulous and as a bonus is organic, gluten free and most dishes can also be made dairy free. For those watching their carbs, broccoli & cauliflower rice is available. Spicy, delicious and not rich. Our service was excellent. We'll be back!

If you've got coeliac disease (or even if you haven't), you've got to come here. Absolutely everything on the menu and in the cabinet is gluten-free and tastes delicious. I highly recommend the chilli crab master. My matcha latte tasted great, too. I also grabbed a cinnamon bun cookie for later, but I'm regretting not trying the cherry, lemon and coconut slice - it looked divine.

This is the best gluten free brunch I’ve had! Since going gluten free I haven’t wanted to just eat bread but I could eat a whole loaf of Nodo’s bread. The service was great too and the vibe is great and there’s a good view of some of south bank too!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5/5 – A Hidden Gem with Something for Everyone! Absolutely loved this little café! One of the standout features is the huge range of options, seriously, there’s something for everyone. They even have separate gluten-free and plant-based menus, which made choosing so much easier and inclusive for all diets. Now, let’s talk food, the chipotle chat potatoes were an easy 10/10. Perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, soft inside, and packed with just the right amount of smoky heat. Honestly couldn’t have been better. I’d go back just for those. I also tried the Ginger Ninja juice, fresh, zingy (not too zingy), and super refreshing. Exactly what you want in a juice: balanced, punchy, and not too sweet. Service was super quick, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the whole place had a relaxed, easygoing vibe. The location is convenient, and prices are more than fair for the quality and variety on offer. Highly recommend checking this place out whether you’re after a quick bite, a hearty plant-based meal, or just want some standout potatoes. Will definitely be back!

Gluten free lovers unite!!! Celiacs here is a restaurant for you. There is so much gluten free options here. Best of all for those who are not gluten free it won’t matter because you can’t tell it’s gluten free. The food is delicious and lots of effort from the wonderful staff to satisfy. Also note GF options for beer🍺. Must say it’s one of a few restaurants where the food is as vibrant and colorful as the pictures. Enjoy.

The food is lovely great place for celiacs, although the staff was not friendly and when asking for sauce the chef or owner made a big deal and acted like it was an inconvenience for him. The staff look terrified of him and the service is also really slow.

When we heard they have a 95% gluten free menu, we just had to check it out — and we weren't disappointed! Great value fish & chip packs, and the sweet potato wedges are the best we've ever found. Crunchy chips and great battered fish and calamari, and we've never once had any issue with coeliac contamination. It's great to have somewhere you can trust for reliable gluten free food. Staff are always incredibly welcoming and attentive. And great views with the beach just across the road! Definitely a must visit if you want to grab a bite for lunch or dinner. 🐟

A lovely spot with a welcoming atmosphere. The menu is simple, clear, and easy to navigate, especially when it comes to ingredients and dietary options. The hot chocolate was spot on—rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. I ordered the baked eggs, which were decent, though I would’ve preferred the yolks a little softer and runny to enhance the flavour of the dish. Also, a second piece of gluten-free bread would’ve been appreciated, as one small slice felt a bit limiting alongside the meal. What really stood out was the warm, community vibe. Locals were chatting with each other, giving the place a friendly, relaxed feel that made the experience all the more enjoyable.

Really great deliciously smoked meat! Everything was so juicy and flavourful. We all left satisfied and full. Highly recommend the place if you like smoked meat. Bonus that everything is gluten free except for the bread, which catered for those with allergies in our group

The Gluten Free Pizza and Pasta are EXCELLENT. I'm so happy to find Italian food that I can get gluten free, that is of such a high quality. It's the only place I have been where I am not compromising on quality or flavour by getting gluten free (actually I find their gluten free pizza to be better than their normal pizza). Thank you to Casa Cibo for having such great gluten free food, I will keep returning for both the pizza and pasta.

It's been forever since I received a small (very generous) bowl of crispy sweet potato fries. There's an incredible range of burgers to cover every conceivable desire and if they don't have it you can make your own. The gluten free menu is amazing. The presence of a vegan lentil patty excellent, and it tasted good too. The vibe was great, even at a midweek lunch, the service friendly and fantastic. Craft beers were great. Really theres not a lot of negatives. Maybe a bit more seasoning in the burger patty and on the fries but it was nearly there. I'd go back and work out just what was going to be my new favourite burger, and have more of those crispy crunchy sweet potato fries.

Excellent place for gluten free eating. Quite unique in that they offer sweets, made to order light lunches, and take-home meals, entirely gluten free and top quality. Reasonably priced. Lovely service, they were very patient about the boisterous child we had with us (sorry, and thank you).

It was a pleasure dining here! Fantastic lunch spot, we will definitely be back. The food is gluten free, dairy free, no added sugar etc. but you wouldn't know it, my "big breakfast" style meal was great! The eggs were poached perfectly, the gluten free toast was nice and the chimichurri sauce on the side was lovely! Their in house smoothies are delicious, they had a fantastic lemon and grapefruit smoothie which I highly recommend (it's refreshing to see a not so sweet smoothie option)! Coffee is also really nice and we'll brewed, I'm a black coffee no sugar person and it's hard to find coffee out that isn't too bitter drunk just black when most people have milk and or sugar. The staff are also amazing, the gentleman that served us at the counter and made our coffees was personable, fun, and very accommodating of slight menu changes to accommodate some of our party.

We were excited to try this restaurant after discovering that the entire menu was gluten free. It was disappointing that the margaritas were made with lime cordial, and do not include Triple Sec as a traditional margarita would. It was also sad to see the meals drenched in what tasted like an artificial cheese sauce, which left us feeling quite nauseous afterwards. The service also was a little off, with multiple waitresses coming to take our order several times even after we'd ordered. After spending around $170, we left feeling pretty disappointed with the whole experience. We received a follow up email from our booking saying 'If you enjoyed your experience please feel free to click here to leave us a comment. If there is something we didnt quite get right, our Manager would love to hear from you'. Not being one to typically leave a bad review, particularly for small business, I sent an email advising of our experience. Sadly I never received a response, hence the honest review.

I love that we found this place! Reason... I'm a Coeliac and there is a gluten free dedicated menu! ☺️ I've only tried a few things so far. Love that I can eat the GF chips, which are well-cooked and crunchy. It's almost like they have a covering of something tasty. The grilled fish was good, I enjoyed the GF chicken schnitzel. The GF sea scallops are my favourite so far. They're a decent size! I'll keep working my way through their menu... They also cater for non-GF, with crumbed fish, which was good according to my other half.

The food here is great every time we visit. On our most recent trip, we opted for the lunch banquet, which offered fantastic value and gave us the opportunity to sample a variety of dishes. The team was very accommodating, even adjusting one of the orders to be gluten-free. We were served by Isabella, who was just a delight. She was attentive, personable, and had such a warm and positive attitude. We’ll definitely be back!

Perfect place for coeliacs! And those on a gluten and wheat free diet We had a few different dishes to try and share. Each dish tasted delicious! The dishes that we tried were - Chicken Betel Leaf Wrap, Khao Soi Chicken Salad, Master Stock Braised Chicken and Wok-Fried Asian Greens.

We dropped into this cafe for lunch today, and it was great! We were drawn in by the sign which said that they have a separate gluten free fryer. The owners were both super nice and helpful, said they can make almost everything gluten free and Coeliac safe (incl a separate storage and prep area!). We had the eggs benedict and the Sea Beast fisherman's basket with GF crumbs, and a mini pizza and chips for our little one, and were surprised with some freshly made GF banana bread. All tasted great and was very reasonably priced. We will be back for sure 😊 Thank you!

Unfortunately, my experience at Betty’s Burgers in Toowoomba was deeply disappointing and frustrating, particularly as a long-time vegan who is careful about dietary choices. When placing our order, we requested the vegan puff rice patty on a vegan roll. We also asked whether vegan cheese and vegan mayo were available, but the staff member assisting us confidently stated that they were not. We clarified our vegan preferences multiple times during the ordering process. Eventually, we opted for the patty with just tomato sauce due to the lack of vegan condiments. When the burger arrived, I ate half of it, assuming it was the vegan puff rice patty. I even remarked on how impressive it was, thinking it must be a particularly realistic plant-based option. However, my friend, who had dined at Betty’s before, questioned it. Upon confirming with the kitchen staff, I discovered to my horror that I had been served a classic beef patty instead of the vegan option I had ordered. As someone who has been vegan for 30 years, this was incredibly distressing. I immediately brought it to the attention of the front counter staff, only to be met with an explanation that they thought I “just wanted the gluten-free vegan roll,” completely ignoring my explicit request for a vegan patty and condiments. This demonstrates a clear lack of understanding of dietary requirements and an inability to properly process or double-check orders. What makes this worse is that other establishments, typically review the order with the customer to ensure everything is correct. Betty’s Burgers failed at every step, from taking the order to serving the correct item. I cannot recommend Betty’s Burgers to anyone with specific dietary preferences or allergies. This experience highlights a lack of care, competence, and accountability, which could have serious implications for those with dietary restrictions or food intolerances.
