They have some unique burger options, nice atmosphere, and their staff provide excellent service any time we stop in for lunch. This family style burger restaurant has delicious burgers and sides to choose from. The portion sizes are excellent and their ingredients always seem fresh. As a person who eats gluten free they are gluten free supportive and can change an order to address dietary needs with out compromising the quality or flavour. (They do have gluten products and do cook gluten products in their deep fryer just as an fyi) If you are looking for a place to eat at downtown Kingston check this place out!

We dropped in without a reservation and were warmly made welcome. We were assured that our vegetarian and gluten-free dietary needs could be met, and they were! What made our visit extra special was our waiter. He was excellent. No request was a problem, at all. He was quick and efficient, great suggestions, and not overly familiar. Excellent waiter!

Friendly service, clean, almost everything gluten free. Quality of ingredients was great…local cheese and meat. Can’t go too wrong; absolutely delicious homemade burgers. If I had to find a negative then I suppose it would be that some of the fries were overcooked and I had to throw a few out for that reason.

While I do appreciate the quality of the food and gluten free options, I have to say the service is really lacking. Waited an hour for avocado on toast which like, doesn’t even require cooking. After taking forever to serve our food, staff rushed us to pay and leave asap. I was informed by the waitress that “we have a wait list” while she was pacing back and forth in front of our table to really lay the pressure on. The whole thing was almost funny.

Crave is the spot in Kingston for baked goods, coffees and sandwiches! They have such a good selection of treats and everything is soooo yummy. They have gluten free and vegan options too. It’s always busy for a reason, and though you may struggle to get seating on a weekend, it’s still worth a stop to get something delicious. And if you are lucky enough to get a spot to seat, it’s a great place to study, meet with friends or work on your laptop.

I have celiac disease and most of the menu can be made to be safe for me! They have gluten-free options for bunds, pizza crust and pasta. I opted for the Maple Glazed Salmon and it did not disappoint! Our server, Molly, was absolutely delightful and knowledgeable about the need to have a gluten-free meal. She was attentive to all of our needs and my dietary needs, especially! She indicated that although they don’t have a dedicated fryer, the kitchen staff and Chef take every precaution to avoid cross-contamination as much as possible. We were all very pleased with our meals. My friends had the ribs and indicated the BBQ sauce was delish. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back!

Had a wonderful experience ordering from here! I have a gluten intolerance and the manager went out of his way to not only double check the ingredients in the sauces for me, but he brought them out for me to see myself. The wings were delicious!! 5lb combo was perfect for a family of 6 and great value on top of that! We will definitely be back!

We had an amazing brunch at Lay Low. The food was super tasty, service was incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere was great. We had the egg white omelet and the Nest. Flavours were well balanced, portions were the perfect size. My husband has celiac, the staff was well versed in what he could and couldn’t have. We will definitely be back.

I'll start first with the atmosphere. The pool tables are layed out across the lower floor and the bar and tables are deeper in the restaurant up a few steps. There are gorgeous murals on all the walls, nice lighting and good music. Secondly the food is fantastic, I haven't ordered a meal that isn't exactly what I wanted. There are so may options and ever vegetarian/gluten free options. Thirdly the staff there are all fantastic. The food came out quick and hot, the server was friendly and approachable. The manager was kind as well. My only complaint, and it's a small one, when we ordered water we got a pretty small glass with a ton of ice. The simple solution we came to was a pitcher of water. 5/5 would come back with a larger group.

One of the best restaurants in Kingston. The Wagyu Beef Burger is one of the most delicious I've tried. The potato leek soup was very tasty too. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. There are gluten free options too which is great for my wife. It's right next to the lake so in the summer you could enjoy the patio as well.

Delicious food with gluten free options. Fish tacos were tasty! It is an intimate spot with lovely decor just a little too dark for me when dining with friends. A little more romantic atmosphere. My only regret was that I didn't realise it was tapas portions so I/we would have ordered differently. One complaint, the fish tacos came out for the two people who had ordered them while the other person waited for 10 minutes for their empanadas to arrive. I would recommend this restaurant as a lovely tapas restaurant.

The service was absolutely great—friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. I’m giving a 4-star rating mainly because I think the menu could use a bit more variety, especially for those with dietary restrictions. It would be great to see more options that cater to different needs, like gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian or allergy-friendly choices. That said, the food we did try was absolutely delicious! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. I’d definitely come back again and would recommend it to friends. Looking forward to seeing how the menu evolves over time!

Bar Burrito in Kingston Centre Princess St was awesome! Great fast service and they listened well to our group who all had different preferences and 2 had peanut & gluten allergies that they seemed very knowledgeable about. They washed their hands and changed gloves between each order that were all carefully prepared. The ingredients tasted so fresh and delicious, we will return!

Great place! I had the Beach Bowl and it was amazing. The smoothies are great and they now serve coffee as well. The owner is friendly and obviously cares about offering great service. Lots of vegan and gluten free options.

Loved the cafe and the atmosphere. Also loved the fact that they had many coffee alternatives as I have many food restrictions. I had the SuperBelly drink from Blume which is zero sugar and tastes so good! Also saw some gluten free options there. Will definitely come back!

For those with Celiac or gluten free folks... We were trying to find dining options that had different gluten free options. We read that Rose and Crown has a DEDICATED fryer for fish and chips for those of us that have celiac. The batter is excellent an the fish was great (not a big fish fan unless it is there lol) and the staff is always great. Thank you so much for something different :)

Disappointed and leaving a message for the owner. I can't have gluten and had called ahead to discuss which items I could have. I was told the polenta cake was gluten-free. I also ordered a pasta with gluten-free pasta. When they arrived, the polenta cake had "not gluten free" written on it, and the $29 pasta portion was tiny with no cheese. UPDATE: Response from the restaurant shows they don't understand food allergies and that they can make people sick giving them the wrong information, or that the pasta portion was small and there was no cheese, not that there were "package concerns".

Probably my favourite restaurant in Kingston! A wide variety of Desi and Middle Eastern food. HIGHLY recommend the kebabs, shawarma and butter chicken! The staff know how to accommodate gluten-free which I really appreciate! Fantastic restaurant with great hours (late night).

Hoping for a gluten free sandwich, but the staff politely explained why it's not possible since they bake the bread on site. They did however open the ingredients book to ensure the soup was gluten free as well as the kettle chips, so I had a delicious pumpkin soup with seeds in it, and dunked my chips into it as well! Yum!

The best place for gluten intolerant people to get burgers! They wrap them in tonnes of crunchy iceberg lettuce so we can eat them like regular folks!! Yummy😁
