I’ve been coming to this restaurant for a few years and I love the food, atmosphere and the service here. I’m gluten intolerant, and they have really good gluten free pasta.
Experience impeccable hospitality in a beautifully relaxing space, where a diverse menu impresses with flavor and unique options.

TL;DR:
Visited Casa Manila a few weeks ago, excited to try a new cuisine. Staff assured me dishes were gluten-free — they weren’t. I got sick. When I raised it, management dismissed my concerns and showed no accountability. They also spoiled my birthday surprise by mentioning the expected cake with candle. Extremely disappointing. If you have dietary restrictions, avoid this place.

I visited Casa Manila for the first time and was excited to try a new cuisine. I appreciated the time and care they seemed to put into maintaining a well-labelled menu.
My sister arrived before I did and arranged for a candle to be added to the free birthday ice cream for me. The server told me about the surprise ahead of time, spoiling it, but I was still looking forward to the experience.
Unfortunately, the staff misguided me on what was gluten-free.
Server 1 said they could accommodate vegetarian and gluten-free and that the adobo could be made gluten-free, after confirming with the kitchen.
Server 2 said everything was fine except the jasmine rice, which was odd, but he confirmed after checking that the rice vermicelli could be made gluten-free.
After eating, I started feeling off and asked whether the dishes used soy sauce. Server 2 admitted they did, and I had to explain that regular soy sauce contains gluten unless a gluten-free version is used. He clearly didn’t know what he was talking about, so I requested the chef come out.
A lady came and instead of addressing the issue seriously, asked if I was just feeling "guilty" for eating gluten. I explained it’s a medical issue and that I was misled despite asking directly. She said customers are responsible for reading labels, but servers should not confidently recommend unsafe options. She admitted they had never dealt with this situation before.
I asked what they could do for me, but she offered no solution. I told her I wouldn’t be paying and left.
I cradled a bad stomachache and prepared for the onset of hives.
Extremely disappointed. If you have any dietary restrictions, be very careful — or better yet, go somewhere else.

I’m Celiac and this location was super accommodating. Making sure that any questions I had were answered. Not only that, they have a dedicated fryer which is not super common. Amalia took care of us and she was super sweet and attentive.
With a focus on scratch-made dishes and a unique separate menu for dietary options, this spot offers a casual vibe but could improve service timing.

I've been to this place before and had quite a pleasurable experience. I came back for the last evening of Winterlicious. I made a reservation and they seated my self and one other person right away. It took over 25 minutes for a waiter to come check in. After one did (she apologized for the wait and said she wasn't even supposed to be our waitress) then 5 minutes later someone else came (over 30 mins total). The restaurant had some tables but it really wasn't too busy. The meal took a VERY long time to come out. The only decent thing was the Apetizers, but the food took so long to come it wasnt worth sending it back and waiting for more. The dessert did come quickly. Both meals were plain and tasted like nothing special. They were able to accommodate for a gluten allergy. I was disappointed since I have had such good experiences there before.
Visited Safari Bar and Grill for the first time on a Sunday night. The wait staff and bartender where incredibly thoughtful and accommodating. The food was fresh, cooked as requested, hot and delicious AND they have a huge selection of food for gluten sensitive individuals. The patio was covered and heated, which will be very useful when it rains or gets colder, and there was a great games room upstairs. It was a truly memorable visit, and I hope to return soon!
Known for its accommodating menu with garlic-free options, it's a popular spot, so making a reservation is smart for weekends.

The atmosphere was very nice and the staff we encountered were all pleasant. It was a bit disappointing that the frittura mista cost $22 for such a small portion. Although it was really good, not sure that it’s worth the high cost for the small portion. I ordered the casarecce aromantica and thought it was a bit bland. I tried my boyfriend’s bolognese and it was quite good. I also tried my sister’s rigatoni russa (but penne for gluten free) which was also very good. The tiramisu was very liquidy which was disappointing. I’d give the overall experience a 6/10. I’d go again if a friend/family wanted to go there but I don’t think I’d go back on my own volition.
With over a decade of rave reviews, this spot delivers consistent deliciousness and great options tailored to different dietary needs.

I wanted to thank the gentleman I spoke to on the phone who took care of our order and addressed our gluten-free questions. He guided us to the right choices and was able to modify some of the dishes. The food was so delicious, & our guests were very appreciative. Thank you so much! We will definitely be back.
Servers are super helpful, and the vibrant dishes paired with refreshing matcha ice tea create an amazing, welcoming experience!

Came here for the first time. The servers were very nice, helping me with my gluten allergy. Also the food was amazing! I recommend the green curry for anyone with a gluten allergy. Also got the matcha ice tea which was amazing! Thank you everyone 😊

Had a large group during a slow period, so we had lots of attention from the server. Found the service to be above average on the whole and very hospitable. Food tasted great and they were able to accommodate a gluten free request of one of our party members. Great GF crust, very fluffy and similar to a normal crust.
Been here and loved it, especially the lamb dishes and garlic naan, definitely a must-try for Indian cuisine lovers with worthwhile pricing.

Service is swift and engaging. Dietary needs and variations are always accommodated for graciously. Gluten Free and Vegan options exist and all curries are made with coconut milk. 5 stars for flavaaa + the lamb shank biryani.
Highly praised for its outstanding Alfredo sauce, but the house salad might not impress as much.

I ordered the gluten-free pasta and a house salad. The Alfredo sauce was probably the best I ever had, although I forgot to ask if they used flour for thickener. I imagine that they would let me know if I order gluten-free 🤔
The house salad was too basic, I would skip it.
We attended a wedding party here and boy were we impressed! The food was amazing and they were able to cater to our gluten-free needs. The front house staff were all terrific and the kitchen knocked out every course tobperfection.
If you've been thinking about this place you need to action those thoughts and go!
Highly Recommend! Under new management and is so much better! Patio is perfect for summer, service is fast and friendly, and they have so many options to choose from! Gluten Free, Plant Based, Meat, Veggie, something for everyone!
Enjoy attentive service and a cozy atmosphere, perfect for a sweet treat or a nice evening out with a curated selection of wines.

Another fantastic dinner at Issmi. Frances and her team are welcoming and make dining here a wonderful experience.
Sushi and sashimi dinner for 2 fantastic and fresh. Thank you for providing gluten free options. Looking forward to our next visit.
Excellent food, and profoundly filling. I got the Chicken Jalfrezi (because it was gluten free) and my husband got the meatball starter and the Chicken Tikka Masala Sandwich. We would have loved to have dessert but we were stuffed. The ambiance is also quite lovely, but the service was a little slow. It took some time for our order to be taken and even longer to get our final bill.
Fabulous food and drinks. Ordered the chicken and avocado sandwich on gluten free bread.
BEST gluten free bread and sandwich. Loved it. Mango smoothie 🍹 🥪 Delicious
Surprise sparkler shots and a cozy atmosphere make for a memorable experience, though menu options could use a bit of variety.

I truly appreciate how the servers go out of their way to accommodate my dietary restrictions (I’m celiac and have a severe dairy allergy). For my upcoming birthday, they surprised my friend and I with a sparkler-topped shot since I couldn’t have any desserts, which was such a caring and thoughtful gesture.
I gave the food 4 stars because while everything I’ve had is delicious, I wish there were more than just 2 or 3 menu options for those with gluten restrictions. The atmosphere also gets 4 stars because during my last few visits, I noticed some tension among the staff that was audible, especially near the sushi bar. However, the service was otherwise excellent, and I wish I remembered the name of our server—she was absolutely lovely. I’ll definitely be returning for Shuck and Buck!

Food is amazing 🤩 but I do have an issue as to why there are no gluten free pasta and pizza in the Don Mills menu….I know the Queen location has gluten free pasta but in this day and age with so many food sensitivities and allergies they should be readily available at all Good Son locations!!

My Sunday brunch was amazing! A little cozy cafe with Mexican fusion food with regular brunch options too. The food was very flavourful and we loved the Mexican fusion. The owner was very hospitable, she looked after every single guest. It felt like a family environment with very good food.
We are definitely coming back to have dinner.
Highly recommend for vegetarian options or gluten free options.
I love Paese and yes, it is off the beaten track but then again many wicked places are hidden gems and this is one. The wine cellar is one of the best the city has to offer and the passion of the chefs excels. I have always had great attentive service. In the photos below are some of the great eats that I have had but the menu is always changing with the seasons. Positively Italian with a love for Ontario products. One of my loves is the huge emphasis they put on accommodating Vegans, Vegetarians and Gluten Free peeps with top of line menu experiences. I am so addicted to the zucchini ribbon pasta with vegan Bolognese. They can’t get this off the menu. Desserts are killer I just ate mine too fast to snap a photo. Next time, here’s hoping. I like that they have vegan and gluten-free options. You can choose the level of spiciness. I asked for a spicy pad see ew and it's quite spicy! Portions are big and satisfying.

I was pleasantly surprised by the baked goods selections (almond croissants, chocolate croissants, biscotti, scones, cookies, brownies). I thought they would have only had simpler items (donuts/cookies) They had a few vegan, gluten free options as well.
