Delicious gluten free pizza and pasta! Though they used to use their gluten free pizza dough as bread and our waitress told us they don’t do that anymore, which is really disappointing
With diverse menu options like tasty avocado tacos and accommodating service, this spot is a must-visit for all!

Highly recommend this place for their food and for all the gluten free options! 95% of the menu is gluten free, our server was really knowledgeable about Celiac, and was really accommodating. 5 star food!

This place is really chill and offers great food and service. The pancakes are amazing and come with real maple syrup. The Denver Omelette hit the spot and they had plenty of gluten free options.
Packed atmosphere with great service and a unique vibe, perfect for a lively gathering without breaking the bank.

My family and I had previously dined here and had a different experience this time. I ordered the gluten free Fettuccine Alfredo and added shrimp. The previous time the shrimp was added to my dish. This time I was given boiled shrimp on the side. The pasta had what would equal to 2 tablespoons of Alfredo Sauce at the bottom of my noodles. It tasted like I was eating plain noodles. When I mentioned this to the waitress, she brought out Alfredo sauce in a very small dish. It still wasn't enough. We had to request the bread because it wasn't brought out to us and we had to ask for refills. Each time the waitress brought out something to us, she was clearly annoyed. We thanked her, yet she would not respond. The host and the manager(?) were very friendly and greeted us when we arrived and thanked us for coming in.
Downtown spot with a vibrant outdoor vibe, generous portions, and a menu that’s sure to have something for everyone!

Sunday night birthday party of 6. Had a reservation and were seated immediately. Sat in an oversized booth that held six people nicely. However, the padded bench on the side I was seated on had an issue. The springs underneath my butt were busted. I sat in a hole for the entire evening and left with a backache. The concrete brick wall behind us was avoid of any art. All our birthday pics look like we took them from a jail cell. Our waitress was very good at her job. She took care of us well. They have a great selection of whiskey. However many were sold out. Ordered a charcuterie app which was missing the bacon wrapped dates. Food was sold out as well. Some of us had to order our second choices due to this reason. My wings were tossed in a very strange, burned sauce. Each bite left a nasty burned taste in my mouth. Others at the table agreed. It was just disappointing. Also be aware there are no gluten free desserts here. Kinda sad since we had a person in our party with gluten issues. Guess we should have doubled checked their menu before making the reservation. We saw gf meals and made the reservation. Should have glanced at the desserts, since it was the birthday guest who had gf issues and no gf dessert. :( Also we overstayed our parking validation. So even though we had our parking ticket validated by the nice server, we stayed 25 mins longer than allowed. Ended up paying for parking as well even with it being validated.

Very tasty food with carnivorous, gluten free and vegan options. I had chicken sopes which were excellent and authentic, and their spicy red salsa was soooo good! Cute restaurant inside and they have a small amount of patio seating. The employees were cheerful and friendly. Will definitely be back!

Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers – 7th Ave + Chase Field Locations
Food Allergy Alert – READ BEFORE YOU GO
If you have food allergies or care about someone who does, do not eat here.
I’m speaking from real experience—not just as a disappointed customer, but as someone who literally had a mild anaphylactic reaction at one of their locations and watched them handle it with gross negligence.
Let me explain:
CHASE FIELD (Super Bowl time) – I came in at 16 with a friend. I had a bite of food and my mouth started tingling, and my throat began closing up. I immediately told the waitress. Instead of calling for help or checking the food, they came back with a paper stating I “consented” to eating the food and wouldn’t sue them. I was a minor, and I looked like a minor. They knew what they were doing—covering themselves legally instead of doing the right thing. It was cold, dismissive, and honestly horrifying.
And as for the beer? Let me paint the scene: it was the Super Bowl. The place should’ve been electric. But when I walked into the Chase Field location, not one group of men smiled when their beers hit the table. Not one. Faces went sour and dark. That moment said everything. The beer was warm, flat, and honestly—embarrassing for a place that has “Cold Beers” in the name.
7TH AVE LOCATION (March 24, 2025 at 3:00 PM) – I called to ask about allergens and the staff didn’t even know what an allergen warning was. Not an exaggeration. They were confused by the term. This chain is actively ignoring basic food safety standards that could literally cost people their lives.
I checked their entire website after the call. There is no allergen menu, no clear breakdown, and no proper disclosures. Just vague mentions of “gluten-friendly” with no depth. There’s zero transparency or education across the board, and that’s terrifying.
This chain is massively negligent, both ethically and operationally.
I have officially filed a report with Linda at the Health Services Department to address this growing pattern of negligence. I strongly urge others to speak up before someone gets seriously hurt—or worse.

We stopped by before catching the Green Day concert and we were so pleasantly surprised. I'm celiac and had heard Carcara had a nice GF selection and were caring and attentive regarding cross contamination and they did not disappoint. My drink was a very generous pour and the piece of chicken on my salad was seasoned to perfection and very large. The atmosphere is so chill and lovely. Maybe a bit pricey BUT the portions are generous, and the service and atmosphere are superb.
Unique cocktails and amazing flavors create a delightful atmosphere that keeps everyone coming back for more.

We went here for our anniversary and could have been happier. The flavors were truly unique, and they had some of the most unique cocktails we’ve ever experienced. Also, the molè was amazing; so much so my wife who is typically no fan of molè, was happily eating it as we enjoyed our meal. The yucca frites and marrow were to die for! Excellent gluten free options. We will definitely be back!

GREAT date night place. Atmosphere, venue, service - all high-quality. Unfortunately, they did not have many gluten free options so we ended up just having drinks - so I cannot speak to their food quality but the small menu did seem to consist of some decent choices for those without dietary restrictions.
The drinks were well-prepared and hit the spot perfectly!

The vibe of this place is so fun and truly welcoming. We ate indoors, but the outdoor space is charming, especially when days or evenings are cool. Service was perfect -- not overbearing but not neglectful. Prices are good considering that portion sizes are HUGE. I have to eat gluten-free and while there aren't a ton of options, the ones that exist are good. I got roasted Brussels sprouts as an app to share with two others -- we had plenty. I also got pulled pork fries. I do wish there was a tiny bit more pork, but the flavor was outstanding and, again, portion size was huge. I ate about 2/3 and my son polished off the rest. I also had an Old Fashioned which was OK-only. Square ice cube, but it was cloudy and while I don't like my drinks sweet, this one wasn't sweet enough. Still, that wasn't enough to make me regret my experience. I don't live in Phoenix (I used to) but I have family there and I will definitely return to the Welcome Diner.
A laid-back spot with a neighborhood bar vibe, offering a variety of vegetarian and vegan options, and a free parking lot next door.

Good for what it is! Popped in for a quick lunch. Servers were friendly and kind. Food arrived fast. Really wish they offered a gluten free bread/bun option but the "Adam & Eve" treatment for the burger wasn't bad (enough lettuce for a salad!).
The burger was tasty and the lemonade did not disappoint. Next time I'm going for the chips and deviled eggs!

Went here on a whim our last night in Phoenix and we were very pleasantly surprised. We were seated at a cozy intimate table. Cindy was an incredible waitress who went above and beyond to ensure my meal was safe and enjoyable (I have celiac disease) and kept the delicious corn tortillas coming! The Queso Fundido, Halibut Ceviche and Chile Relleno were fresh and delicious.

Great food (Mac and cheese and tomato soup), nice patio, and gluten-free friendly. There are a few GF entree options and there were two GF pastries (brownie and strawberry cake) when I was there. Just wanted to clarify since a previous review said nothing was GF, they may have been referring to the pastry case.
Favorite salad place in the valley. Gluten-free options + you can add rice to it (grain bowl) to make it more filling if you're not a big salad person. Love all of the premium toppings too! The edamame, avocado, egg, etc. make it even better.
Enjoy a place with a customizable spice level and a diverse menu that keeps bringing visitors back for more.

I ate here 3 times on a recent weekend trip. I appreciated how the dishes were spiced upon request because I don't like spicy. I'm gluten free and there were many options on the menu. Highly recommend!
Excellent service. Good atmosphere.
I had the mushroom burger. It had has layers of umami-goodness from the sauteed mushrooms (which had a nice hint of thyme), to the saucey blue cheese crumbles, and the solid beef patty.
The beer battered fries were great - best without ketchup.
Need a gluten-free bun? They got you. Usually, I would ask for a lettuce wrap. But today I felt inclined to have a burger that felt more traditional. The bun was soft and fresh.
Can't wait to go back!

Hello Celiac friends :) . This is one of the gems that you literally find and go and enjoy which me and my family did. We went on a Monday, let me tell you about their waffles they are gluten free. I messaged the owner on Instagram and he confirmed that they are gluten-free and that they're cast never seen gluten 😭😀😀 they were delicious. If you have a dairy allergy they have two other options which is a matcha and a regular waffle which are also delicious. My sisters that are not celiac tried their chicken panini and they said it was delicious. We also tried the Sicilian dragon lemonade which was very yummy. So if you're in 7th Street in Phoenix pay them a visit, The atmosphere is quite nice and they have outdoor seating with pets allowed :)

Definitely recommend the upstairs lounge on a Friday night for a romantic evening out with live jazz music. ❤️ 🎶
Service, ambiance, music, vibes: alll GREAT.
Food: Good. We tried the octopus appetizer, lobster risotto, wine, cocktails, and espressos at the end. Server and kitchen were very accommodating and knowledgeable of gluten-free options.
Seating: Grab some stools at the full-service bar for a last minute decision to stop by. Or plan ahead and reserve a table. The band is set-up near the balcony, in case you want to request a table closer to the music.
Dress: Upscale casual. There were some beautiful dresses worn and smart slacks. Didn't see anyone in shorts and flip-flops.

This coffee shop was one of my favorite visits during a weeklong work visit. Amazing coffee and gluten-free food options (I loved the oatmeal). Oat milk matcha was delicious as well. Charlie was a delight to chat with in the mornings. Thanks for keeping me well-fed and caffeinated while away from home!

The ramen and drinks are solid, and the bartenders are always nice and friendly. Sometimes service is slow if they're short staffed. I like how they have rice noodles, so I can have gluten free ramen. I dont love how saucy their spicy edamame is, but that may be preferance. Overall, the ambiance is chill and modern, and I always end up here if I'm craving late night food.

Great spot. The staff is kind, solid cup of coffee and parking is right in front. I have met them at coffeefest many times over the years. It’s cool to see them have a location here. I got the drip with a splash of oat milk. Was great tasting and came in a nice mug. The space has plenty of seating and plenty of sun with the big windows. I did a internet speed test and got 55 down and 12 up. There is plenty of items on the menu I will be trying. One complaint I do have is the gluten free treats are Willy Nilly touching the things that aren’t gluten free. This is common at shops so I didn’t discount the “Star rating” for that. Also you can see their roaster through a glass window. Wondering if they plan on roasting in this location. Happy to see them open. Highly suggest stopping by and seeing it yourself.
Celebrating special moments here is a must, with an amazing atmosphere and a great selection of well-labeled options for those with dietary needs.

We went for our 1st wedding anniversary and everything was just amazing. The food was fantastic, the cocktails were superb, and the service was so nice. I loved that the GF food was labeled since I have a gluten allergy. We will be coming back every year for our anniversary dinner.
Delicious food and drinks. Very accommodating to my gluten free needs. Party of 8 that increased to 11. Even with other reservations, management made accommodations for us as the group expanded.

My wife and I thought we knew most of the fantastic restaurants to dine at that are gluten free friendly (for her), but I can have all the gluten I want. I am almost embarrassed that we didn’t know this spot. It was definitely a gem, great food and drinks, great service, and a fantastic atmosphere. We will be returning very soon.

I come here frequently on weekdays over my lunch break to study and get a coffee. I have Celiac disease (gluten-free) and my biggest concern when ordering is cross-contamination. I've NEVER had an issue here. So far, every drink I've tried is 100% gluten free. The baristas are super knowledgeable about ingredients and extremely patient and friendly while checking. I wouldn't be surprised if the whole drink menu is gluten-free - but I haven't tried everything yet. Today I learned they even rinse the steamer between every single use, so I don't have to worry about gluten-containing alternative milk residue. The kitchen is IMMACULATELY clean. I love the atmosphere here and it's honestly my favorite coffee place.
