Came in with my husband for his birthday to treat him. The owner is so kind and knowledgeable about everything gluten free. The desserts were absolutely amazing and you genuinely couldn’t even tell they were gluten. Made my husband’s (who is a huge sweet tooth) whole day as we are from a small town with no gluten free options and are both celiac. This spot far surpassed expectations!! It was wonderful. I highly recommend the cauliflower pizza, even if you aren’t gluten free. It was warm cheese and the flavor was deep!! It was an amazing option on the menu. A gluten free delight!
There was live music and it was a really wonderful musician which added a great ambiance.

Everything was terrific: our outside, corner round table for five of us, our drinks, our dinner selections, and our group photo, thanks to Amanda, was perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant, for drinks and dinners. I had the tacos (4 to an order and very easy to finish) and they were delish and Gluten Free. They have gluten free sandwich rolls which I appreciate though they (like almost every gluten free bread) are very dry so you’ll want tuna salad or lots of “juices” if you go that route. On my first night, the bartender and manager, Daniel, could not have been more helpful. He went above and beyond—personally going into the kitchen to prepare my meal himself to ensure it was completely safe and free of cross-contamination. That kind of care and attention to detail is incredibly rare and meant so much to me.
The experience was so positive that I came back the next night and asked for Daniel again. He once again took the time to personally oversee my meal, and I was able to enjoy dinner without worry.
Kudos to The Sandbar for taking food allergies seriously and for having someone like Daniel on staff. His kindness and commitment truly made my weekend.
