Amazing family run restaurant with food sourced from their family farm. Delicious food and the service is fantastic. I have celiac and was able to eat there.
Good pizza with good value for money.
Unfortunately no gluten-free pizza. Only the risotto is gluten-free.
Only the salads and a few veggi dishes are vegan.
Otherwise very fishy.
Service was very friendly and quick.
We had a very nice place in the boat.
We heard this restaurant could accommodate gluten free, so we decided to give it a try. They do not have a separate gluten free menu, but our server was confident in what menu items had gluten containing ingredients. We decided to try the lamb and the yogurt, which were delicious and I did not have any negative reactions to. I would recommend this restaurant. If you are celiac or gluten intolerant like I am, proceed with caution on what’s best for you of course.
Really lovely dinner here, the staff were absolutely lovely. I am gluten free and the waiter was very helpful in making me aware of what I could eat (I ended up having a gf pasta), he even brought me a separate complimentary desert there was also complimentary shots after dinner. This is a beautiful family run business and I would recommend.
Not recommended for gluten-free/ coeliacs.
I asked 3 times to the waiter if he was 100% sure that my vegetarian spring rolls were gluten free. (They were fried instead of being fresh...) He confirmed each time.
They definitely were not. I spent the following 6h with my head in the toilet. It wasn't worth it.
It's a good restaurant for tourists without allergies...
My partner is allergic to gluten and a full ceoliac. We came here yesterday after having gone somewhere else where they said it was fine but then it turned out once sat down it wasn't. The waiter was super friendly and helpful even though we were slightly stressed out and hungry! He was so kind and reassured us he would communicate with the chefs about dishes. Some of the meat dishes and fish were fine but we just changed up the side they are usually served with- they could offer some wedges or mashed potato gf at the time we visited (as well as offer grilled veg). We asked about cross contamination risk so they were extra careful. My partner had pork and I had a delicious stuffed grilled squid (I am not GF). We also shared a greek salad and they separated the cheese from the salad just in case there was any cross contamination during food prep earlier that day but my partner had a look at the cheese and was confident to risk that asides this but it is great how careful they were :) The food was really nice and we are so thankful again for the patience of the chefs and waiter with us and the allergy. We really reccomend here 😊 We are so greatful. Lovely food and atmosphere!
Restaurant located in the castle of Berat, very good traditional cuisine and variety. We were recommended by them and we liked it so much that we returned for dinner. They took into account my celiac disease and this is to be appreciated in Albania as it is difficult to find products and gluten-free restaurants.
Delicious and traditional food. There are also gluten-free options and they take great care in the kitchen. The waiter knows a lot about the subject too.
The food was okay, I liked the potatoes, personally the pumpkin soup was too sour for me, but that's a matter of taste. My husband had the beef with truffles, we didn't expect canned mushrooms here.
All in all ok, the waiter was extremely friendly and the most important thing (for me): gluten-free is possible and they explain to you what you can eat. Since I couldn't find any information about a gluten-free restaurant, I was happy after several attempts to find a place where I could be catered for.
Tasty traditional food! Very nicely seasoned. The cook is well informed about gluten-free. He even indicated that the fryer is only used for meat (which is gluten-free) and fries. For dessert we got raki, home-made traditional tea and my friend got a piece of home-made cake with house honey.
Chic and expensive. Annoying loud chart music. If you are mediocre, than thats your place. We had unwanted special treatment: glutenfree bread was out but they tried to fix it for 20 minutes just to find out that it isnt available anywhere around. Than they forgot to bring normal bread for the second dish and had the extra gluten free bread still on the bill.
This restaurant is amazing! Starting with the food, if you’re looking for traditional Albanian food, this is the place! Al the dishes we ordered were super good, we tried several of them and they all were home made and super tasty!
I recommend ordering several smaller dishes, so that you try as many as you can, because you will not be disappointed. The moussaka was divinal and the stuffed pumpkin and courgettes were delicious!!! For dessert, we tried the homemade cake, which had figs jam on top, and was an excellent way to end the meal.
Finally, the lady serving us offered some dogs grown by them, for us to try. They were awesome! Still regarding the lady, she was one of the nicest people we have found in Albania! Always helping with the gluten free dishes and giving us tips for the city! We had a nice table outside, which was nice! Definitely worth trying!!
Great food, great service, knowledgeable of gluten free. Had the chicken kebab and chips (the beer is a friend's not mine. Not gluten free) highly recommend
Very spacious and nice restaurant on the lake. Without booking, 6 of us immediately found a table for us. Fish specialties, some dishes are naturally gluten-free. Possibility to pay by credit card. Excellent service and good value for money. Very fast and helpful.
We were in Saranda for 4 days and ate here every evening! Price is very reasonable with very high quality. Gluten-free pizza is also available. The owner is multilingual and even spoke German. Highly recommended!!!
Excellent solution in Tirana for those with celiac disease; the owner is very attentive and helpful. Dinner based on vegetables and meat with fruit and coffee, average cost.
Lovely restaurant with very helpful staff, we had veggies, vegan and gluten allergies in our group and they catered for all of us. The food was delicious, very filling and reasonably priced. Just ask for no cheese if you are vegan.
We liked it a lot. In our three nights in Sarande, two of them we went to Limani, the first night we liked it a lot, since one of the diners has celiac and they understood us well and treated us wonderfully and with care not to contaminate the food. At the end of dinner we were treated to a lemon sorbet. The grilled vegetables are very delicious and the grilled cuttlefish are spectacular. The next time we ordered a grilled fish that was delicious. The waiters were very nice, they didn't treat us very well.
Just awesome! Fresh food, super friendly staff and great location, set back in a small olive garden. Special requests such as our child's celiac disease are also taken into account. Highly recommended!
Best traditional Ksamil food. At a very very good price, one of the cheapest in town. The service and property are 10/10, very very friendly.
Quality food and top service
They also take great care of dietary restrictions. Gluten free with no problem and they have always verified with the kitchen.
If you want to live an experience, go visit Lili. In high season it is better to go the day before and reserve because otherwise you will not have a place since it only has 6 tables in a small space. He makes two dinner shifts. Lili himself explains the selection of dishes made by his wife. A place only for tourists, I don't think Albanians go there. However, the food is traditional, homemade and exquisite. There are vegetarian and gluten-free options.
We heard this restaurant might be able to accommodate gluten free diners, so we decided to check it out. After speaking with the server, I was not confident in being able to have a safe gluten free meal here and would advise other gluten free diners not to eat here if you are gluten free for a medical issue. That being said, my partner (who is not gluten free) had a great meal here and liked it so much that we went back twice. It has great ambiance and is a little oasis in the city with a great traditional Albanian menu. And if you are a cat lover, there are also some adorable street cats wandering around or lounging in hopes of some table scraps and maybe some pets. Indoor and outdoor seating. Bathroom available.
Waiter Kosta very good, but not just all professional. Restaurant number 1 🔝We had a celiac friend and they were very attentive. Really very professional.
Our favourite restaurant in Ksamil! Fish is very fresh and flavourful. Nice vibes in the evening for dinner by the beach. Gluten free options available
Fab brunch place, we went several times. Very knowledgeable about gluten free - I had the omelette. The croissants are huge. Great smoothies & frappes. We loved it & the really friendly vibes.
