Last year when I came it tasted better and would have been a 4 star. This year the fish was overcooked and it just didn’t taste great, they even gave me only 1 sauce packet with the takeaway option which obviously wasn’t enough. I was happy they provide gluten free but I don’t think I’ll be back. There are better GF options out there.

Amazing coeliac experience during the lunch run! When telling the waitress, they clearly outlined which meals were not GF, which meals could be made GF by substitution or which were already GF. Before I even got to double check with another waiter who later took our order, he double checked regarding the need to have seperate pasta water. They then informed us to ensure that the GF pasta was cooked correctly, it would take a little while longer, but was no real issue and only a matter of minutes. The Scallop Entree was also made GF and so were the gelatos we ate afterwards (lemon & rosemary, rhubarb & Cointreau and pistachio). All to die for! Nil reactions, amazing quality and flavours, Fantastic knowledge regarding GF and cross contamination.

This restaurant offers a truly unique dining experience, serving traditional Chinese cuisine that adheres to the Buddhist vegan tradition. This style of cooking, increasingly difficult to find even in modern China, showcases what we see as the true spirit of Chinese cuisine. The restaurant, run by the descendents of Mother Chu, who lived to the ripe age of 97, preserve these culinary traditions. The protein options are varied and well-executed, ranging from wheat protein (gluten) to soy in its various forms. The food itself is flavorful and beautifully presented, demonstrating a clear commitment to quality. The service was enthusiastic and warm, adding to the pleasant atmosphere. The decor is appropriately Chinese, featuring handwritten texts that enhance the overall ambiance. However, one area that could use improvement is the restrooms. They could benefit from some sprucing up to align with the high standards set by the food and service. Overall, we were very impressed with this restaurant. The authentic cuisine, the warm service, and the unique experience make it a worthwhile visit for those seeking traditional Chinese vegan food. We hope the restaurant will address the restroom issue to further enhance the dining experience. As ordinary consumers, we are not paid or compensated in any way for this review. I normally don't eat pizza as I'm Gluten intolerant. However this GF pizza was fantastic and highly recommended for anyone who has dietary needs. Price was quite high though for extra $10 per pizza for the GF option. I would go back, but given the cost - not too often

Amazing Aussie burger, gotta be the best burger I've had in a very very long time. Fresh, flavourful, crunchy hot chips, great size and as we just wanted to share one between us they went above and beyond to serve us half each with our own servings of chips. We went the gluten free option and everything was perfect, the burger bun was thick and soft and held together. I'll be back over and over

Really fabulous restaurant, with soooo many vegan options - worth noting that it's not actually a vegan restaurant and therefore some items are NOT VEGAN but everything is labelled on the menu. On the day of my visit I emailed ahead to ask if they could accommodate gluten free as well as no garlic / no onion and they assured me there would be no problem. Great selection of drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and a really relaxed friendly atmosphere. The vegan pizza I had was one of the best vegan pizzas I have ever tasted. I thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Great quick lunch spot. I had the Mexican tacos that were gluten free and my partner had the cheese burger. Food was good. You need to order everything through the QR codes on the tables. Quite small space for the tables/dining area.

Haven't been here for ages, so good. Had the Chilli Scramble, wasn't given the chilli oil, which I didn't realise until too late, but seriously, it didn't matter as it was so tasty 😋 gluten-free bread 😋 Had a chocolate thick-headed, which I didn't feel was made right 🙃 they replaced it, and it was awesome. However, not the consistency of a thickshake I have had at other places. Gluten-free free cake options sensational 😋 We will be back, staff are amazing as well 🙏🏼🙏🏼

We got the gluten free toasties, one with pumpkin and one with lamb. The pumpkin one was slightly better than the lamb but both bread options were hard as rock. We could barely cut through the lamb toastie and the entire toastie was cold, both were cold. Based off the other reviews if you come after 2pm the food is often cold. I would not recommend the gluten free options here.

Gluten free and coeliac friendly! Could not have been happier with the care taken by staff/chefs to accomodate for my gluten free needs, it is rare to find a place that has a whole menu that I can eat from, and staff is informed on proper contamination issues. I want to make it clear that the effort taken to do these things makes a huge difference in the experience of ‘going out’ for a coeliac person, no stress and not having to eat a plain ‘salad’ or pizza on a crappy gluten free base. Thankyou Thankyou. 🥹 Staff could not have been more helpful for my Grandmother with disabilities, and food/cocktails were great. Very very good spot! Well deserving of 5 stars 😊

No Bones is a beautiful outdoors, covered restaurant. The dining experience is fantastic with friendly staff, fantastic cocktails and delicious food. The menu is creative with bright flavours. They were super accommodating to my dietary requirements, catering for Coeliacs and even had a gluten free fryer. We left perfectly satisfied and are already looking forward to our next visit.

All the food is vegan and gluten free. Set menu is very convenient and there is plenty of food. Definitely recommended if you have allergies or follow a vegetarian/vegan diet. Staff are nice and welcoming, definitely gonna go back!

The food was so delicious- we had the $95pp set menu and everything was amazing. Great service, great vibes, great drinks. The lamb was particularly wonderful. They were also amazing at catering for a friend’s dietary requirements (gluten free and dairy free) - lots of the food was still possible and the alternatives were delicious! We’ll definitely be back.

Such a fun burger place. I was a little skeptical at first that they could prevent cross contact here but they have an open kitchen and I watched the whole process. They changed their gloves. Cleaned off the flat grill (although they don't put any buns on it anyway). The fries are also safe and cooked in a dedicated fryer.

My friend, her infant and I stumbled across this cafe last weekend looking for lunch and coffee. We were excited to see that they served gf crepes, as we are both celiac. We asked for a table and were lucky to secure one outside. Shortly after they had ensured to offer a high chair, provide menus and water, and ordered soon after this. We ordered two crepes to share. One potato based crepe, I can't quite remember the name and the persian delight. Both were very yum! Noting the persian delight was the perfect sweetness, and not overdone, with fresh fig in the layers. They even served the persian delight crepe on two separate plates for us in halves, which we thought was a nice touch as we had not asked for this. When ordering we were also offered the option of having them served as an "entree" and "main", though having an infant with us we choose together, but thought this was also a great option. The coffee was perfect too! We spoke to a few staff and the manager, who were all very friendly and in good spirits considering how busy they were, ensuring everyone was happy with the service. Definitely looking forward to returning to this gem!
