I've never written a review before, no matter how disappointed I was... but the gluten-free pizza was by far the worst pizza I've ever had, and I feel obligated to warn my celiac friends... go for the risotto instead. I would recommend the restaurant make their own dough, then you can afford to charge an extra €4 for it.

Absolutely amazing!! They have great Gluten Free food! I had the Weiner Schnitzel gluten free which was my first time finding that. All of the food was delicious. If you are in Vienna and gluten free this is an absolute must! I cannot recommend this place enough. Not only were the staff super nice and inviting but they were also very knowledgeable about allergens. 10/10 would recommend!

This felt like a classic Viennese café experience. Although not dedicated gluten free, as you would expect, there was a range of gluten free cake available and all allergens were clearly labelled. The Mozart hot chocolate was delicious. Although it is very popular and was busy, the service was attentive and quick. We enjoyed our visit.

Couldn’t recommend this place more! We have the pork, beef and veggie taco, all were delicious! Tortilla chips were real (IYKYK) & they had a large selection of Mexican sodas. Staff was so friendly. For those who need it, a great Gluten Free selection. We will be back soon!!

We went for breakfast. We found a comfortable place since we went early in the morning. We ordered two different breakfasts. In my breakfast, the tomatoes that were supposed to be roasted were not roasted, but the breakfast was delicious. In the other breakfast, we changed the breads on the side to gluten-free ones, which was a nice opportunity and it was delicious. In general, what we ate was very delicious. When we first sat down, they immediately asked if we wanted something to drink and we said no. Later, while ordering breakfast, they asked if we wanted something to drink and we said no. They kept asking if we wanted something to drink and we kept saying no. Also, the waiters kept looking at you and asking if you finished your food or if you finished, you were under constant surveillance and this is really not a rude behavior!

Great quality beef burgers, friendly service, and good ambiance and decor. I'm celiac, so the burger was served in iceberg lettuce. Perfect. There are families, couples, kids, young and old. Highly recommend.

I came from Graz with my mother for lunch and we were treated very kindly at the reception. In general, the service was very courteous and had the classic Viennese humor, but without being arrogant. Now to the food: My mother ordered a classic goulash, and I ordered a gluten-free chicken schnitzel due to gluten sensitivity. We were both very satisfied, the price was absolutely justified based on both the quality and the quantity. We were also both very happy with the coffee and cake. The naturally gluten-free Esterhazy, for example, was excellent, and the wide selection of newspapers was a pleasant bonus. All in all, the early afternoon at Café Hummel brought some light into rainy Vienna. We will definitely come back when we are in Vienna again!

What I really can't understand is how, in 2025, there are still places that treat gluten-free with so little attention. If you say you have the gluten free option, you need to know that it's not enough to use a different dough: you need to avoid contamination, otherwise people will get sick. And instead here the gluten-free pizzas are cooked in the same oven as the others, with the same surface, the same blades, the same flour that flies everywhere. This is a serious problem, not a small detail. Those with celiac disease cannot afford the luxury of "hoping" that everything goes well. You need expertise and care, and unfortunately both are lacking here on this front. It is a carelessness that can have important consequences, and should be addressed in a much more responsible way. Pizza? In the norm. Nothing unforgettable. The dishes in general are well made, and the prices are honest, even below average. However, the organization leaves something to be desired: for everything there is a different queue, between waiting, confusion and lack of clarity, the result is a chaotic experience. They pass themselves off as Italian but only the name and the menu are Italian. It's a shame, because it wouldn't take much to really improve, but certain slights cannot be ignored.

Highly recommend for anyone visiting Vienna and looking for both quality food and a warm atmosphere! The food is truly delicious, with rich flavors and I was happy to find gluten-free options on the menu. Excellent restaurant. Interesting tasting journey, especially considering that the dishes are all vegetarian and vegan (I think also gluten free but I'm not sure, the waiters immediately ask at the beginning if there are any intolerances or unwanted foods, well done). Well balanced dishes, you can see that there is a lot of research and careful use of the ingredients. I ate more than I expected. The quality/price ratio was well above my expectations (unfortunately in Vienna a high price does not always correspond to tasty food or food prepared with care and experience). I highly recommend it, especially to vegetable lovers (vegetarians, vegans and otherwise). I will definitely return, also to discover new dishes (all strictly local and seasonal).

Since I/we were here...I haven't been able to eat or order pizza anywhere else. And certainly not in my old home in Hesse. Dough is a blast, easy on the stomach. It's also available gluten-free (my partner loves the G-free pizza)... and I can see my wife beaming. Toppings are suitable in every way, and the portion of garlic doesn't bother you in any way. We always get a place (funnily enough, always the same). Even if the ambience isn't my thing... it's absolutely made up for by the service (super nice and fulfilling every wish) and the great taste and consistency of the pizza. I don't want any other pizza anymore. Thanks for the great product.

Delicious Leberkas to go. I chose the gluten-free version. The bread roll was amazingly crispy, and the Leberkas was delicious. Everything was prepared with great care and without contamination. You should allow a little extra time, as the gluten-free roll is freshly made. It takes about 10 minutes. Vegan options are also available.

This is an amazing place. I'm vegan as well as soya and gluten-free. That doesn't leave me with many options, but here at Cafe Harvest, I had a real meal. The atmosphere was very cosy and the staff were very helpful. I had the beyond burger meal with a glass of the house read, and it was beyond wonderful. 😊 Thank you.

I wanted to order a gluten-free cheeseburger for my friend who can't speak english, but I couldn't even say anything because one of the cashiers, staff or whatever didn't even want to listen to me and told me to order on the machine. YOU CAN'T ORDER A GLUTEN-FREE BURGER ON THE MACHINE. the guy who I was trying to talk to thought I can't speak english BUT I CLEARLY CAN??? like I was literally talking to him and understanding everything?? he pmo. but I don't think he heard me because of the noise of people yapping so loud. and he was talking to me like I was slow, I AIN'T SLOW, OK? like, dude learn to treat customers with respect and listen to them first, before you speak not understandable English. one star review.

The owner and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The food was ready within minutes and seemed to be of high quality. Fries are gluten free and there are vegan options. In the end, only the raspberry ice cream could top it. I would like to give it 6 stars, but only 5 is possible.
