Had the pleasure of dining at Bonnie Day, and it was an unforgettable experience! The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. I had the pleasure of dining at Bonnie Day twice in one week because the food was just that good! The first time, we tried the Burger & Chips— a hearty and satisfying dish, and there's a gluten-free option available. We also had the Veggie Burger and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a delicious plant-based option. The second visit, we started with the Whipped Feta —so fresh and creamy! For the main, the Sweet Potato Gnocchi was absolutely divine, and we also tried the Vegan Galette with Confit Tomato, featuring a pistachio crust and a rich, savory filling. Bonnie Day has quickly become one of our favorite spots, offering incredible dishes that cater to all tastes and dietary preferences. Both times we also tried a few of the cocktails, and LOVED them. Highly recommend overall!

Visited for the first time, initially planned to do carry out but decided to eat in as it was quiet. Service was fast and extremely pleasant. There was a slight mix up with one item ordered, but it was swiftly taken care of without issue. Food was delicious, and for me personally, finding good gluten free (celiac safe) options can be a challenge - I will definitely be returning here as the honey glazed garlic chicken (GF) was devine! Customer service was first class. Definitely recommend!!

Wakan was a fantastic server (who also happened to be the floor manager.) He was quite knowledgeable and his suggestions were spot on and delicious. We will definitely be back!! Just a note the mozza sticks in the 3rd picture are not gluten free but the Green Rabbit Mushrooms and Cauliflower wings are GLUTEN FREE!!

CELIACS BE AWARE! Pretty sure my celiac son got “glutened” at this location. Good experiences with The Forks location led us to try this location but the teenagers at the counter seemed to not care very much. No extra note taken about being extra careful or a warning to the kitchen to be careful. It was a busy day and just watching from far away it seemed like the same hands that were touching burger buns were also touching the fries. Be aware if you are celiac that this location might not be safe.

Thyme Café is a vegan's DREAM! The owners are extremely nice, the collection of books creates a nice home atmosphere, and the food is incredibly tasty! They even have gluten-free options 🥰

A unique spot for crowd-pleasing food. They have a great vegan and gluten free menu if you’re trying to juggle multiple food sensitivities or allergies. The Kapow Chili tofu bites was fantastic and spicy, and the Plant Based Poutine was everything I wanted it to be.

Love Pineridge Hollow. Their food is delicious and servers are happy and helpful. Delicious gluten free pickerel and fries. You can walk through the interesting shops. There are so many things going on. Highly recommend you go and also check their website.

Finally stopped by for dinner and WOW what nice atmosphere. The interior was more upscale than I was expecting, and the service was very quick and friendly. The manager (I assume) was checking up on everyone and things were running smoothly. As for the food, I found it really yummy! There are quite a few gluten-free options, with various delicious sauces. I tried the Chicken Lettuce Wraps as well as the Pad Thai (the gluten-free versions) and found them very flavourful! I’ve had the Chicken Fried Rice previously, which I found less flavourful. Overall, I had a really nice time here and I will be back!

Dallas, the manager, was extremely rude. We have come here for 28 years and this is the first time a manager or staff was incredibly rude to me while explaining the gluten free pasta substitute and the sauce substitute. Lady, get a life and a better attitude. You totally ruined our family dinner. You are a sad case for hospitality. Will think twice about dinning here again. Whoever hired this woman, needs to rethink their decision.

Went here for lunch on a holiday Monday and loved that we could order off the brunch menu. Our server Ashley was great and was knowledgeable about gluten-free celiac-friendly options for my husband. Lively atmosphere and the food was hot and fresh and delicious.

we ordered breakfast for our valentines date and somewhere between Doordash and the cafe, our order was missing and we had to call them to figure it out, and then pick up the food ourselves an hour-ish later than we’d originally planned for. the server was so kind and apologetic about the mixup and didn’t charge me for the food when i finally picked it up! we appreciated that so so much, and we still had an excellent valentines breakfast! we ordered the pumpkin french toast, which was conveniently gluten friendly, and it was genuinely the best breakfast i’ve ever had from a restaurant. the pumpkin loaf was incredibly moist and flavourful, and the cinnamon butter and whipped cream were the perfect toppings. we were really happy with the portions as well, since the three slices were rich and dense and very filling. we will absolutely be getting this again!

The food is always great, but they took the celiac and peanut/treenut allergy more serious than any resturant me and my family have been to, so much so that the chef came out and confirmed our plates were given to us in the right order so the celiac person didn't get what they werent supposed to. Just amazing care. And with the peanut/tree nut allergy person, they got both chefs to check on certain items, just outstanding. This is why I go back! Love this Keg.

What can I say, these folks know how to do steak. Unfortunately for me, I'm celiac so need to be careful. They have a few gluten-free items on the menu and many more that can be modified to be GF. My steak was medium, the perfect temp on my plate, and I'm fairly certain we didn't talk during the meal, but we definitely enjoyed them. The significant other has lobster. She was in heaven. We skipped dessert. The only downside, and it really wasn't, was that there was a lineup, and the hostess stated we might be waiting 45 mins without a reservation. We were only waiting about 20mins while we enjoyed our Mushrooms Neptune appetizer at the bar (GF, they didn't have the potato puffs, GF on the menu), and our wine pairings were perfect. Bonus: AWESOME bar staff and table service! Four stars for the atmosphere is how hectic it seemed. Tight spacing and constantly moving with purpose staff, detract from a relaxing environment, but that's not anyone's fault. Maybe because we were on the 'bar side' once seated at our table. Also not a place for those who might be watching their budget. We had a gift card and easily doubled that.

We went with our 8 year old celiac daughter. She loves sushi but usually can't get gluten free at restaurants because they don't keeps things separate. They made her a special Dynamite roll and she loved it! She was thrilled and felt fine later. My husband and I also thought our rolls were fantastic!

Unfortunately, our experience went horribly wrong. We went on the weekend for brunch, and we asked the waiter if a specific item was gluten-free or not. She was not sure, and she went to ask the manager, and they assured us that it was gluten-free. So we ate, and all was good at that point. we paid and left. 5 minutes after we left ate, allergic reactions started. And we felt bad for 3 days after that. It was horrible that they didn't even care if the food is cross contaminated or not. I do not recommend this place if you have food allergies. They don't know how to handle food in the kitchen.

Beautiful restaurant in a great area. Our server Thor was incredibly resourceful and on top of things. I had the arugula burrata salad, and it was not my favourite thing I’ve ever had. I really did not enjoy the tomatoes in it, maybe I had a bad batch but they were so mushy, way too salty, and tasted rancid. I had to pick them all out they were terrible. I really enjoyed the burrata especially with the gluten free toast. It looked better than the baguette it is supposed to come with, and it was very crunchy. The rest of the salad was okay, but I couldn’t get past the tomatoes.

Absolutely amazing!!! I do not say that easily with Italian places. I am super picky but wow!! Everything we had there was a 10/10! My husband has celiac and they had a ton of options for him, which is the main reason we decided to try it. That was a real treat for him to have more than 3 options!

A very nice restaurant in the heart of Winnipeg. The menu online was not the same as the one we were given on arrival. We wish there were more vegetarian options as the mains are all meat and fish. Gelato was a nice surprise! *Celiacs-The messages about gluten free options were mixed. First server stated the fryer was not gluten free and the second said it was. The server was accommodating to requests to customize menu items. But then brought out a basket of bread. 🤦 Waited a few days to post this review and can say that happily I did not get sick. However I wish the messages were clearer as this kind of thing increases anxiety.

The reason why I didn't give 5 stars the opening hours are a bit limiting. It's mainly office hours expect some days on the weekend. If you work later, it's a bit of a struggle to get to this bakery. The Cakes and chocolate are amazing they have a lot of choice for gluten free.

A very nice restaurant with fantastic service and great knowledge of celiac disease and gluten free options. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. The restaurant itself is quite dark and feels more appropriate for dinner than lunch. We look forward to visiting again.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I recently had the pleasure of attending our Mazergroup party at the Lady of the Lake Café, and I must say it was the best experience ever! From the moment we walked in, the talented assistant manager Amanda and her amazing colleagues transformed the space into a winter wonderland that was simply enchanting. The attention to detail in the decor created a magical atmosphere that set the tone for the evening. The food was nothing short of impeccable! We were delighted to discover gluten-free options available, and my husband, Brad Tarr, was thrilled with the choices for the team. The shaved roast beef served with whipped garlic potatoes, grilled vegetables, and Yorkshire pudding topped with mushroom gravy was a standout, while the Mediterranean chicken breast was, without a doubt, the best I’ve ever had, especially when paired with whipped potatoes and grilled vegetables. To start our meal, we enjoyed the beautifully presented wine and goat cheese salad, along with a warm, fresh biscuit and or a gluten-free biscuit that was simply divine. To top it all off, the desserts were heavenly, and the live entertainment featuring three wonderful comedians from Yuk Yuks had us laughing until our sides hurt. It truly spread the Christmas cheer throughout the evening! If you're looking for a fantastic spot for brunch, lunch, or dinner on a Friday night, I wholeheartedly recommend Lady of the Lake Café. I usually really like going to Chachi’s at the outlet mall. Yesterday we ordered two gluten free clubbin sandwiches. The bread was horrible. It tasted stale and it was falling apart as you were eating the sandwich. We go here specifically because we can get gluten free bread and the sandwiches usually have ample toppings. Not this time. I could barely taste the meat or sauce there was so little. When you have to pay $3 extra for gluten free bread these sandwiches were a big disappointment.

Today I ordered the house salad with the roasted red pepper soup. The soup was delicious and so was the salad that was brought out. As I was eating my friend pointed out that it was actually a caesar salad. Once I brought this to the waitress attention she was more than happy to swap out the correct salad. Normally I would not say anything and just continue to enjoy the food I am eating but I was already having a bad day and I decided I desreved what I ordered. Boy was I happy to have made this choice, the dressing was amazing and I will definitely order the house salad again. I also got a chocolate torte to go because it is the most delicious moist gluten-free thing I've eaten. If you have not tried this before, do! Or try the carrot cake because it's also amazing.

Had a great experience here. Service is prompt and courteous. Very professional. Server took and filled the orders exactly as requested including special gluten allergy requirements all by memory. Went for lunch with a friend and was saddened to find that their dedicated fryer for gluten free items is no longer. They said it wasn’t as high demand so they converted it to regular use. Shame because it was a great place to go with a number of options. Had the beet salad and Club lite on a gf bun today. Not many options for those who need to eat gluten free because of an allergy.
