This place was awesome! I have celiac and to order gluten free the manager comes and takes the order and then the meal is prepared in a separate kitchen. I felt very safe eating here. I also did not get sick. Would definitely dine here again

For a single visit it was ok. The value was low. I ended up with over $160+ with tip for 6. I know that's typical for tourist areas but I think the experience was soured by a few things for that cost. - raccoons bothered us. I think one actually crawled near table and touched ankle making person at our table jump. Nothing else after that but that they were so brazen ruined the novelty. - they were out of chicken, a big part of their meals, out of hush puppies, out of mac and cheese, and more. I get it it happens. - then asked about the waffles and they said they could do it but without fried chicken so it would still be $22+ for two small waffles. This was where it felt like service was just not great. No attempt to find a solution, allow on side order, or substitute. I had to suggest maybe substitute fish and then they said ok. Probably a tired server, but still just no effort so with everyone exhausted we made do with what we could find on menu. The portions weren't great for the fried fish plate and turkey plate but the burger was huge. Charge extra for splitting a plate for you. ($7.99 or so) So overall I think the place is ok but the value, potion sizes, effort from staff, and such just made me feel there are other places I'd rather visit for such a high cost. We all have rough days so maybe you'll have better luck if visiting for gluten-free / celiac purposes.

This place was awesome! Not only super delicious but also a good gluten free selection. The pulled pork was good with a delicious BBQ sauce! Wish they had one near where I live. Definitely would recommend!

We were on vacation in Destin and went to Louisiana Lagniappe on a friend’s recommendation. So happy we did. Service is amazing and food matches the exceptional level of service. Lots of options and some daily specials(We were there on a night they were offering 2 entrees from a preselected menu and wine for 2 for about $65). They have so many options, a gluten free menu, and lots of drink choices as well if you are not a wine drinker. HIGHLY recommend eating here if you are in the Destin/Ft. Walton area.

I went for brunch while shopping in Destin. My server was Sean who was excellent. My avocado omelet was fantastic. I am gluten intolerant so Sean made sure I got gluten free toast with my meal. I will definitely go back there again.

Happy hour between 3-6pm. Great drinks! We had wings, fries, flatbread, fish tacos, jerk tacos and a gluten free grouper sandwich. Joe was super friendly and helpful. Kimmy was wonderful and very attentive with our gluten free customer. Everything was just great.

The entire staff provided exactly what was expected. Our table was ready at the reserved time and our server (Ana) was pleasant and attentive. Once the order was placed the wait was short and done correctly. One in our party required a gluten-free menu and Ana was familiar with that menu and double checked on one item. The evening was very good.

I have celiac and our waiter was extremely knowledgeable about what I could have with my dietary restrictions. This is my hubby’s favorite place to go in Destin. The baked oysters are a MUST! My 8 year old even loved them, and he is super picky! We had the mussels as an appetizer and the sauce is exquisite! Thanks for another great experience.

Due to having a gluten allergy, I was told I could order any of the sandwiches without a bun. I decided to be safe and go with the burger. On the menu it lists lettuce, tomato, and some other toppings. My burger came out as a slab of meat with melted cheese and nothing else (as seen in the picture). Add to that the fries that come with the meal are not gluten free. I was told I could substitute my side for something else but there would be a charge. They wanted to charge $8 to substitute the fries for mashed potatoes. Most restaurants when they offer a side that doesn’t meet an allergy, are kind enough to substitute it for no charge. Not this place. Add to that the waitress seemed put out with any questions asked. They were not very helpful. So, I had an overpriced extremely greasy burger patty and fries I couldn’t eat (because I wasn’t going to pay $8 for another side). I had to ask for lettuce and tomato that should have come with the burger.

The food and service was amazing! We are visiting from Colorado and haven’t had pizza this good in a while, especially with all my food allergies. They accommodated so well! The gluten free crust and sauce was out of this world! Our server, Ryan, was AMAZING and so kind! She made us feel so welcomed and took care of us well. Thank you!

I have a gluten allergy, so eating out is definitely not always a pleasant experience, however the folks here were extremely accommodating with an entire gluten-free menu. I am so glad they had this option available. The food was 10/10 and the service as well 10/10. Highly recommend for anyone, but especially if you are on vacation with a gluten-allergy.

The firehouse burger is very hot, but delicious. Great burgers and yummy margaritas. I’d highly recommend getting there early enough to experience their happy hour. We had a group of 8, one with gluten free requirements, and everyone was very happy with their meals.

Friendly and considerate staff who were helpful with gluten-free and vegan options. They were also very patient with the food going back and forth as the kitchen corrected it. The food was overpriced and the margarita wasn't that good. Great atmosphere though, especially sitting by the railing and watching the boats go by.

Food was decent. Was disappointed when I saw burger and fry on the menu and they were charged separately burger was small and $9... I'm gluten free and the cashier told me they have gluten free buns but then wanted to charge $2... Rather go at a different place order a burger and pay the same and get more food.

I am at a loss for words. Tonight’s dinner was truly an experience and one I won’t soon forget. I was recently diagnosed with celiacs so we called ahead to make sure the chef could accommodate my gluten allergy. They assured us that it wouldn’t be an issue and took note of our reservation time so that they knew when I would be there. The chef was aware and a menu was brought out to me that had markings on it as to what I could eat. There were even accommodations he could make to certain dishes to make them gluten free. The roasted beet salad was absolutely perfect. I could have eaten just that and been happy. I was also able to eat the whipped ricotta dip and the roasted crab brûlée. Instead of the naan and crostini, they brought out sliced cucumbers for me. I was so pleasantly surprised at the amount of options that I had, but I ultimately decided on the filet and bone marrow risotto for my entree. I didn’t want the meal to end. It was the best meal I’ve had since I’ve had to go gluten free. There was absolutely no room for dessert, so I can’t attest for that. Our waitress, Alise, was so wonderful in every sense. She was so kind and knowledgeable. She genuinely cared about making sure I was taken care of, as the rest of our group. I chose the watermelon strawberry margarita to drink and even that was to die for. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this restaurant. I’m sad that it will probably be a year before I can come back, but it’s so comforting to know that there is a safe restaurant I could eat at when we’re in the Destin area again!

UPDATE: they have a new chef and a new menu. They no longer have the famous shrimp and grits. We both settled for steaks and scallops. The steaks were choice grade and over seasoned. This is still a great place to come for a happy hour drink and watch the sunset. Super friendly staff. Stroll down the road somewhere else for dinner though. A highly trained staff and superb food. Provided a great anniversary experience. I highly recommend the shrimp and grits, they were prepared Louisiana style with a tomato-based sauce. My wife had the scallops and said they were exceptional. Gluten-free is very easy here.

The staff went out of their way to accommodate a gluten allergy. The manager specifically baked some corn tortillas so we could have chips and queso. Even though the chips contain gluten. Very friendly!

My family brought me for my bday and I'm glad that they did. I'm the only vegan and my family and it's been a struggle to get them to see that vegan food is just food. They loved the food and really enjoyed themselves. I loved eating off of everyone's plate 😉. I'm especially grateful for the gluten-free options. Ice cream and service were great-what a fun experience. Love that there are options for gluten and dairy free. My ice cream was made on a clean surface and my toppings taken out separately. The vegan chocolate was really good.

Looks to be both a local and tourist favorite. They move a large volume of people through. Food is high quality and presented in a nice manner for the upper end price. Server was very knowledgeable about the menu. Capt Dave's was very accommodating with one of our party's gluten free request. Highly recommend for family, romantic or solo.

Our server, Erick, made our experience very enjoyable! He was very efficient and handled our large party with ease. We were immediately seated for dinner with a party of 15 at 5 p.m. The crab cakes, shrimp dip, and crab and shrimp linguini were a crowd pleaser! They have a lot of gluten free options, including gluten free buns!

Loved it! We had the Vegan Delight and the gluten free Vegan Delight with modifications. It looks like a small amount of food at first but I am stuffed! We may have to visit again before vacay is over. Parking was easy but we did arrive right before closing time. The staff was great. A+
