Love this little restaurant in Bethesda. They have delicious sandwiches for both the gluten free eaters and the "regular" eaters. Highly recommend the crab cakes and the gelato is a must have.

Went off the reviews others left about the gluten-free crust. As someone with celiac, quality GF options are far and few, and this place is now on that list. Yall, the crust is really that good! You don't feel like you're missing out just because you have to eat gluten free! You can order to-go and not get the first and third course.

Our waitress’ name was Brittany. We loved Brittany. She was well educated on what was gluten free for me to eat, gave us a whole apron tour (my mom was interested in getting the same one for her job), and was overall a delight! This is the only restaurant I look forward to going to every year for breakfast. It has a whole gluten free breakfast menu, whereas most places have eggs as the only option. And they have Brittany…who was wonderful.

Super cute atmosphere, great for bigger groups. Service was fast, well organized and friendly. I highly the banana royal and dirty banana crepe. They also can do all the crepes GLUTEN FREE!

Cozy Spot with Great Food and Vibes Loved my visit to Golden West Cafe! I had a hot chai latte that really hit the spot, and the High Mesa polenta with chorizo and an egg over easy was delicious. They were super accommodating with my gluten-free needs and brought out corn tortillas without me even asking. The vibe is laid back and comfy—perfect for a relaxing meal. I’ll definitely be back!

Wonderful place with great food, and a great variety of food to keep everyone happy including folks wanting to eat healthy. Vegetable/vegan/gluten-free etc. options. Amazingly helpful and friendly service from Mr. Keith who accommodated our tight schedule and difficult modifications - and was able to make our kids laugh. Loved it!

Full gluten free menu! I tried gf fried chicken sandwich and loved it. The bun held together and was not gritty. There must be a bit of heat in the gf batter but it was delicious. No bacon for me but added pickle slices. I can't wait to try more gf dishes here The waiter was great

We ended up here on a whim the day of the fall festival. It was crowded but we were seated very quickly. The service was great and was completely unaffected by how packed it was. They had gluten free options available (even dessert, which is rare). I had a BLT on a gluten free bun AND a gluten free strawberry shortcake. I will absolutely be back.

I’d heard a lot about this restaurant and finally took my family there for Father’s Day lunch. Meh. Food is fresh but bland. And pretty overpriced for what you get. An appetizer of parm fries is $7.50 and we got maybe a handful. There’s a $6.50 up charge for gluten free crust pizza that’s on top of the regular price pizza for a 10” pizza! Yes. $25. That’s a lot. The crust was chewy but bland. The toppings were fresh but bland. No real flavors like herbs or garlic on the pizza. No olive oil to dip bread in. Just meh.

Cypriana was terrific. We had a birthday person with us and they made it special (see Picts), the food was great. Specifically the chef’s hummus was some of the best I’ve ever had! Seriously, I could’ve eaten that alone and been happy. The branzino with lemon was excellent and light. The chicken with lemon potatoes was perfect for my kid, the grilled octopus was nice and tender-had a slight Smokey taste and the portion size was enormous. The grilled eggplant was another lovely dish, although that reduced balsamic drizzle on top was so delish I could’ve used more! The had a gluten free pita which was excellent, and the wood roasted olives was a “to taste” item. I did not care for it but the rest of the table loved it. The service was great, drinks were generous. We had a very good time and will be back!

Great diary free vegan milkshakes. All the Gluten free breads is vegan. The food was delicious and the staff very accomidating to my food allergies. Only diner I've ever had a fulfilling meal at with my allergies

I’ve been wanting to try Alma Cocina Latina since I moved to the area and last night I was finally able to! 5/25/25. Thank you to Kanae, Mauricio, and Kez! You guys made a great impression and a wonderful experience in addition to a great meal 💜 Shout out to the chefs and line cooks. I can tell that these dishes are carefully thought out and curated. Everything I ate was delicious. Since it was my first visit, and was excited to see so many gluten free items, I wanted to try different dishes! Also, Punch like a lady was soooo good and compliments the food well! I’m a line cook myself and I don’t get to have food cooked for me often, so anytime I’m able to, it’s greatly appreciated. I will be returning, Thank you!

Great food and service in a fantastic location. So many gluten free options! Our server, James, was knowledgeable about the menu and super helpful in explaining all the gluten free options available to us. My husband LOVED the beef stew: great flavor, plenty of beef. My salad was huge and fresh, no wilty greens. We split an order of fish and chips, made gluten free with specific batter and dedicated fryers. The batter was SO crispy. My husband ordered the creme brulee with whipped cream and fresh berries for dessert, and it was AMAZING. We enjoyed our visit and look forward to a return trip.

Food is good and I love their gluten-free chocolate chip cookie and it's a new design and feels welcoming. Servicing is typically great, I don't prefer to be seated outside as the service can be touch and go. Overall a great local place for me to go and love that they can make most of the dishes gluten free.

Went here for dinner with my wife while we were on vacation, figured we try something new. The food was amazing, we got the paella Valencia bowl(bought 2 by accident we didn’t realize how big it actually was!) so we had plenty to take home. My wife also got the watermelon salad and I got the beef empanadas which were also really good. The view of the bay is also very pretty. Jose was a great waiter he made sure we were taken care of and made sure my wife’s order was put in properly (she has celiac disease). Can’t wait to go back to OCMD and dine here again.

Came here for the first time a few days ago, and the service and food was so good that we came back today. We came in around 11am and were immediately asked if we wanted to see gluten free, vegan, or brunch menus. They sat us down and our server, Kellen, brought everyone water without us having to ask for it. He was so friendly and took our order (party of 4) without writing anything down so i was a bit skeptical. We each had multiple very specific modifications with our food, so I didn’t think he would remember them, but he got every single detail right. Was funny, friendly and warm, and got us boxes and the bill at an appropriate time, and refilled drinks as soon as he saw they were slightly low.

Very gluten free friendly! I felt very safe eating there with my daughter that has celiac disease. Our food was amazing and the drinks were yummy. Having a playground there for our wild child was amazing. We loved sitting in the sand and listening to music. We got there at 430 and had zero wait. When we left closer to 6, the line was insane. Definitely recommend going a bit early. We will definitely be returning!

My whole family loves going to Silver Diner! The menu is far better than what one would typically think of as diner food, though the variety is in line. Some of my favorites include Old Bay fried shrimp, country fried steak and eggs with gravy, or a club sandwich and fries—but I'm basic. 😁 I did try my first bibimbap dish there, and it was delicious! The seasonal chef specials always offer something interesting. They're also great about allergy awareness, with lots of gluten free options and delicious lactose free "milk" shakes. My little kids love their Kid's Club layards (and we love earning rewards like free meals and desserts). The kids have collected dozens of the humourous novelty pins to hook on their lanyards.

This was just what we were looking for for lunch! My girlfriend has a few food allergies, the biggest being gluten intolerance, and man did this menu have options for her! Normally going out, there's only a few things, most salads, but here she had so many choices, it was great to see her torn between what to get! She got one of the stir fry, and said it was one of the best she's ever had! Food aside, the service was fantastic! This place always looked busy, and today seemed to be another case of that, but our server Linda was on top of it! Going from table to table with ease and confidence, having amazing customer service, and was just overall great! Pretty easy to say we'll be going back :D

We are not from the area and we're traveling through. We ended up not being able to stop for dinner until 11:00 p.m. on a Sunday night. Good luck finding anywhere to eat at that time!! West End Grill was one of the few places that was open. I have a severe gluten allergy, and they had a separate gluten-free menu and separate gluten-free fryer. I got the burger with no bun and hand cut homemade French fries. It was awesome! My husband had the homemade jalapeno poppers and bought another order to go. They were amazing! For being a Sunday night at 11:00 p.m. the place is actually pretty packed, and the service was great! I'm so glad we were able to find the West End Grill and definitely will go there again on our way through the area. Highly recommend!

Best gluten free pizza in Maryland. Crispy firm crust. Generous toppings. Cooked in its own pan to avoid contact in oven. Gluten free pastas and salad equally good. Staff could not be more attentive. Easy parking and festive atmosphere.

This is the best coffee shop cafe to stop by and great gluten free choices. Try their gf seed bread toasted on any sandwich. Inventive salads, soups, sandwiches, bright spaces, great staff, smooth coffee, a delight for the senses.

Thank you for being a safe option. As someone who cannot have gluten and has to be vigilant about cross contamination, I appreciate that you all take it seriously and are one of only a couple places that are safe to eat in Frederick. Mindpub is home away from home. The food is amazing (especially the gluten free which honestly is so good, it’s hard to find gluten free in Federal hill that isn’t insanely expensive for no reason) the staff are great and know a lot - especially when asking for different recommendations. Coffee is locally roasted down the street! If I moved away - I would ALWAYS make sure to come here first when I visit

Great service, great food,I love the vegan and gluten-free options. For someone allergic to wheat that also doesn't eat meat it is usually very difficult to find good food. This diner has several options for any time of day. Definitely impressed and I will definitely go back!

We were sat at an after thought of a corner table. Got bumped into my patrons every minute. The fan was on max and blew away my menu. Service was poor and several parts of our order were incorrect. At least the Celiac member of our family didn't get sick. Please get rid of the corner tables by the main bar inside.

If I could write 0 stars on this place, I would. We sat down and immediately had a flat Pepsi, but no big deal I didn’t think much of it. Little did I know this was a sign of what was to come. We placed our order quickly with a sweet waitress and the dining room was almost empty. We waited over 45 mins for our food to come— the gluten free Margherita pizza was soggy and cold in certain areas. My boyfriend’s burger was dry, and supposed to come with bacon but didn’t, the fries were old and the ketchup had a weird caramelized taste to it, which was likely old too. We were so disappointed by this place. They ended up comping the margarita pizza which I ate two bites of. The table behind us was also complaining to the manager. Will never go back here again.

We really enjoyed our meal here. There were lots of gluten free options (including crab cakes!), and the staff seemed very well-versed in dietary restrictions. And how many places offer endless sides?! Our server, Sierra, was great: friendly, professional, and efficient. The view from upstairs is incredible. We have nothing but good things to say about this place and we'll definitely return in the future!

Got the beet salad which had a fabulous lemon dressing, and falafel. My husband got the bronzino and our meals were fabulous. I appreciated our server bringing out gluten free crackers with the pita, since I can't eat gluten. Our server was Alex I and he was sweet, accommodating, and attentive.
