Ordered a gluten free pizza, they gave me a regular crust. Glad it wasn’t a severe allergy issue. They also disregarded specifics in the order all together including dressing, removing items from salad, and forgot a salad in the order all together. They did remake the pizza, and offered a refund, which was kind, however, the manager was the one to take the order so there needs to be more training.
A vibrant spot known for its fresh, authentic dishes, welcoming atmosphere, and an impressive variety of accommodating options.

We visit almost weekly for lunch and have always loved the service and quality of food. Their gluten free options are fantastic (I'm Celiac). Our server Jane always takes the best care of us!

I ordered the Gluten Free Chillerno Burger with Skinny Fries. I made my own Arnold Palmer drink with their lemonade and iced tea. The burger was delicious and the gf bun used was the best I have ever had. The burger was cooked exactly as I requested. It was flavorful and professionally plated. The prices were reasonable and the quality of the food cannot be beat. I highly recommend this location for people with gf issues or not.
With a fantastic buffet showcasing fresh, perfectly displayed dishes, this spot is a must-visit for those seeking allergen-friendly dining in DFW.

This place is amazing! Every item on the buffet is absolute perfection. The display of foods consistently looks fresh and clean as if just offered for you! All items are clearly labeled if vegan or gluten free. Everything is so fresh and delicious. This is arguably the best middle eastern restaurant in DFW. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Don’t miss the dessert case on the way out…the baklava is legendary 🥰
My only complaint here is the beautiful floor is SOOOO slick that its dangerous. Scary to carry a tray from the buffet to table while navigating a hazardous floor!
Burgers here are a standout, with rave reviews about unique options and tasty fry sides that keep everyone coming back for more!

Every pizza I have tried has been good. I especially appreciate the gluten free crust which is crispy and light. The staff is nice, prices are reasonable and the ingredients are good quality. The Forager is my fav! Highly recommend.
We went for brunch on sunday. They clearly don’t have enough servers for how busy the restaurant gets so the server is rushing you to rotate the tables faster.
The server was absolutely BAD. I have a gluten allergy and I’m also Vegan, same as my husband. We understand that the menu is extremely limited for vegans which frankly in 2023 is a joke. There’s so many options that you can serve to a vegan without having to even create new items.
The server had no idea of what was gluten free or vegan, he had to go to the kitchen and ask every single time. He also told me that the pesto was vegan (after going and checking) and turns out that I went online and check the ingredient list and it has milk on it. What a joke and disrespect after asking him so many questions.
The iced coffee is so watery you can’t even taste the coffee flavor. The menu doesn’t specify ANYTHING about dietary preferences and the staff is definitely not trained properly. I won’t ever go back or recommend this place.
Expect a cozy vibe perfect for intimate gatherings or lively dinners, with great options and an inviting atmosphere that keeps everyone coming back.

We discovered this restaurant in early May, 2025. We went because of the gluten-free substitutions. We went twice in one week. The first gentleman that waited on us was amazing. We ordered one gluten-free pizza and one regular pizza. They were both very delicious. The chopped salad was amazing and to my surprise, the pistachio cake was phenomenal!! Very light and tasty. My manager got the dark chocolate and espresso dessert and at first she was skeptical about the dark chocolate ice cream/gelato but after that she's convinced it should never be served with vanilla. The second time I went with my step-daughter after a golf lesson. We got pizzas, the Fritto Misto (the best I've ever had!), and the copped salad. But the female waiter said she really couldn't have us order the pistachio cake and take it with us. We were too full to eat it there. That was a huge disappointment. I get it that it's better fresh, but it would have tasted the same even if it had fallen. Overall, I will definitely go again when I'm in town.
This is the one Italian eatery that our whole family can eat at. Their gluten free, and cauliflower pizza are delicious! For those of us that can eat regular pizza it is definitely delicious.
A cozy spot full of nostalgia, perfect for enjoying unique tea experiences in a welcoming atmosphere with plenty of options for everyone.

Had the most amazing experience here! I’m gluten free and without hesitation, I was accommodated. The food was incredible and I loved the holiday tea. Being gluten free can oftentimes feel isolating when restaurants don’t have many options, but this place made me feel so included and cared for. Will be back!

The staff was very friendly. They have an outdoor patio for cool evenings. My food was good. They have homemade cocktails and whiskey flights at the bar. There were gluten free options on the menu.
You can't go wrong with any Alamo Drafthouse, anywhere. Superb service, great menu (Vegan and gluten free options), and the pre-movie entertainment is like no other.
Nostalgic vibes and hearty meals make this spot a go-to for comfort food lovers, though the coffee could use a little help.

Server was rude and acted like I was crazy for asking about certain items on the menu being gluten free. Corn tortillas had wheat flour in them apparently. Both manager and server seemed to know absolutely nothing about the allergens in their food. The manager himself actually had to look at their own online menu to even give me examples of what I could get, which was essentially just bread/toast/sandwiches. Cross contamination was also a huge issue, never specified any gluten free prep area in the kitchen and other than the bread I was refused any accommodations. Never coming back, staff seems incompetent and the range of gluten free items isn’t nearly big enough.
Chill vibes with an intimate atmosphere, a fabulous patio, and attentive service make this spot a must-visit when the weather is nice.

Food was good and service was fantastic. We sat at the bar and it was very comfortable. The inside is intimate but didn’t get as loud as I would have expected. The patio is fabulous and I can’t wait to go back when the weather is better.
My friend has a gluten allergy and I was super impressed by how the bartenders took care of us. We had apps at the bar, but then I got 2 meals to go. When my to go order was brought out, the 2nd bartender said she noticed on our ticket that there was a gluten allergy and she wanted to make sure we knew the to go meals were not gluten free. I appreciated her attention to detail and concern for our health.
P.S. Order the deviled eggs!

Took the family to Shady's tonight. Not the first time and not the last time, but possibly the first time that I have reviewed the experience...and tonight I am compelled because of our server (more on that later). This is a good review. Our most recent visit was on a Monday night at about 6pm. As expected, the restaurant was fairly busy, but not so much so that we couldn't just walk in and grab an outdoor shaded table with views of the Olympics and MLB on TV. The atmosphere was just as you would expect...welcoming and warm and clean. The drinks, starters, and burgers were as dependable and tasty as usual. The big deal tonight was our server. First of all, he was about 7 feet in height. We very quickly moved past that because he was right on top of server duties. To be quick - he brought us waters, took our drink order, came back and took care of starters and dinner orders. He was extra attentive without being weird or intrusive. Totally great in accommodating a couple of special orderings on our part. However, the icing on the cake, was that late in the meal, we ordered an extra meal for my Celiac daughter who was joining toward the end of our dinner experience. We ordered a burger on a gluten free bun and fries...he was very quick to let us know that the fries would be cooked in a fryer that did not discriminate between gluten and gluten free. He went so far as to let us know that the fries could be a concern for people with Celiac. He might be the very first server, at any restaurant around the country, that we have encountered in the past twelve years who connected gluten free with Celiac! He was very considerate and even presented the to go meal in separate bags so as to not cross contaminate the gluten free burger with the fries. I can't say enough how about how appreciative we were to have a knowledgeable, thoughtful, and generous server. Go check out Shady's if you are in Canyon Creek.
Juicy burgers and tasty rosemary fries make for a mouthwatering experience, topped off with indulgent Haagen Dazs milkshakes.

Mediocre location. Probably won’t ever come here again. The cashier was so quiet and mumbled so much I couldn’t understand him… no gluten free buns, no milkshakes, no tap pay… and the employees were just standing around talking as I waited for my order. Zero sense of urgency.
Cafe Amore is an all around enjoyable dining experience. Friends and I enjoy the BYOB aspect.
The food is great. The prices are so reasonable. I appreciate the fact they also offer vegetarian dishes and gluten free pasta which is my preference. The Cappuccino pie is amazing. Shout out to Jessica - you are AWESOME!!😁
Expect a cozy vibe with a unique drink menu, but be ready for some delays and a bit of a challenge when it comes to seating.

Our first time here and my oat milk chai latte and my husband's Turkish coffee were delicious. The owner and his young daughters made us feel welcome! I was happy to see some gluten-free food items and will try them next time.
Food was horrible. Their gluten free menu is very limited. I would not really call this restaurant gluten free for celiacs . I will not return. Very expensive.

This was my first experience at this restaurant. I had read the stellar reviews and decided that it would be a great place to go on Christmas Eve. I am gluten intolerant, so I had planned on what I would be eating before arriving. Once, we arrived, I found out that there was a special Christmas Eve menu prepared for the day. Unfortunately, two of us were not able to get what we had anticipated ordering, since the meals were not listed on the down-sized menu. Definitely, a let-down for us.
I ordered the Shrimp Cocktail from the Appetizer list. It was very good. For the first course, I ordered the West Texas Salad which was excellent, but I couldn't believe that an establishment at this level does not offer a gluten-free roll. There are enough people now identified as gluten intolerant, that the least you could do is take a page from other well-known chef owned restaurants in the Dallas area and offer gluten-free bread to your patrons. I would have gladly paid extra for the rolls to accompany my meal. Such a small addition could make such a big difference in the overall guest experience.
In regards to the Entree Choices, I decided to order the Scottish Salmon which was missing its accent (btw) and a bit overcooked to my liking. The salmon totally missed the mark. I left over half of the filet on my plate with no desire to eat any more of it. The rest of our party ordered Filet Mignon and the Delmonico Steak. They were very pleased with the quality of their meals. The three vegetables offered alongside our entrees were delicious. (Whipped Potatoes, Roasted Vegetables aka Zucchini/Red Bell Pepper, and Burnt Corn).
The only dessert that I could safely eat was the Texas Pecan Praline Ice Cream with Homemade Chocolate Ganache, which was outstanding.
The employees were very engaging and dressed up in festive holiday fashion. Several individuals approached our table to see if we needed anything. Some employees came by to just say Hi! One particular employee stood out, she was at the front check-in and had a bubbly personality that was incredible. She allowed me to take pictures on the upper level and then offered to take our group's photo on the decorated staircase. I wish I had gotten her name, she deserves special recognition for her stellar attitude and can do spirit! She was spreading joy to everyone she interacted with during the time we were there.
On a side note, the restrooms had rolled hand towels instead of paper towels or a hand blower. This was one of those special features that really stood out and was appreciated.
Note to the owner of this fine establishment: If you start offering gluten-free rolls or Brazilian cheese bread, I will gladly return. Please consider this small ask. Your business and servers will benefit from it, I assure you.
Food is great, service is great. Parking is not too difficult to find but there are a few businesses in the area. Many options as well tons of choices for those who are avoiding gluten. I was so happy to see that they have reopened the buffet. They have plenty of outside seating options, and the staff are truly welcoming and show great attention to detail in following cleanliness guidelines for Covid. This place is an amazing find - truly a diamond!
As someone who frequently travels and eats along the same guidelines as keto, Paleo/primal, or diabetic diets, I need food that is real, this place always serves, and this location is no exception. For the average eater, you have a variety of sandwiches and potatoes, along with a slew of soups, stews, and other bowl-worthy contenders. But what stands out is the salad bar.
I know, salad is fo- don't get me started. If someone turns their nose up at a fresh salad with colorful veggies, crisp lettuce, delicious dressings, and wonderful toppings, especially tasty bacon and cheese, I can't help you.
What helps Jason's stand out is their selection of salad add-ons. For a bit extra, you can get chicken, beef, salmon, avocado, or freshly cooked eggs, which elevates a great salad bar into a phenomenal experience as consistent as a McDonald's Quater Pounder with Cheese. Perfectly cooked eggs, moist chicken, flaky salmon, tender beef, and smooth, creamy avocado all turn health food into fare I'd be more than happy to serve at home. I can stay on track with my dietary needs and be happily full when I'm done, and if I'm not, I can always go back for seconds.
For those who don't have these limitations on what they can eat, they also have tasty breads, crackers, cookies, sodas, and if you're really indulgent, free soft serve ice cream, complete with crunchy cones and syrups.
No matter if you're following vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, primal, Paleo, keto, or Standard American Diet, there's options for everyone at reasonable prices, huge bang for the buck, all wrapped in a relaxing environment that I'm more than happy to head into, be it for stop-and-go eating, or a regular sit-down. Jason's Deli is one of the best options possible for any class of eater.

What??? Mind blowing doesn't begin to describe this Indo-Chinese restaurant!
Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE INDIAN FOOD! When I'm feeling blue, nothing picks me up like prayer, Indian food, and a young adult comedy/love story movie(don't judge me). Red Hot Indo-Chinese and Indian Food right off 75 north in Richardson fits the bill!
This place delivers BIG on service, ambiance, and flavor. Everything is served family style, and whatever you are in the mood for; be it chinese, indian food, or a mash up, you will find it here. Hot & Sour soup, fried rice, triple szechwan noodles, chicken tikka, the list goes on and on!
My Kanna and I ordered cheese naan(which I didn't know was a thing). It was buttery with a sharp cheddar cheese worked into the layers(ya'll know I'm gluten-free, but the bread had me risking it all)! Buhari Chicken, which is the original chicken 65 (and was listed as an appetizer and was nothing of the sort), was spiced to the hilt! Reddish, tenderals of lushly spiced chicken almost made me hurt myself! Accompanied by fluffy basmati rice. The Thai Basil Chicken was a mound of chicken stir-fried with basil, bell peppers, onions, and red/green chiles. It was mind-boggling! Back doored with a tiger, tiger, mocktail of mango and pineapple nectar, grenadine, and lime juice. It was refreshing and addictive. We ended up splitting everything and still had food to take home! It took everything in me not to order rice pudding for the road ( but that would just be greedy).
All in all, Red Hot was absolute bliss. I can't wait to go back.

This place was so good! I'm new to Ethiopian food and the owner(?) was extremely helpful in helping us decide what to get and understand the menu. Portions are BIG and she even gave us extra of the things we really enjoyed. I am gluten free (preference) and stupidly didn't ask what was gluten free or not and didn't realize that most injera is made with gluten and not fully teff, so she offered rice instead! She was so very nice and seemed knowledgeable on ingredients and preparation so I would definitely trust going back and being able to eat fully gf. Def recommend!
