Do yourself a favor and experience one of the best Latin food restaurants I’ve been to. It’s truly authentic Cuban. Yes it’s in Detroit. Don’t let that dissuade you. They are great for gluten free options as well.

I have to eat gluten free and my waitress, Nicole, was able to recommend food and drinks for me that kept me safe while also appealing to the rest of my party so we were all able to have and share appetizers, shareables, main dishes, and dessert. Thank you for such a wonderful location to dine at, with wonderful staff like Nicole to expertly advise us on the best dishes and drinks for us all!

I was on a short road trip to Northern Michigan and found this gem! My first visit was on the way up and the second visit was on my return home.
I am gluten free (celiacs) and they have an entire menu dedicated for us gluten free folks.
I had jambalaya, crawfish and corn chowder, and the shrimp boil over the two visits. Each meal included a gluten free jalapeño corn muffin. All food was delicious and I ate safely. No adverse reactions.
I had a cocktail on my first visit and a soda on the second. Cocktails were good.
Service also was very good. My friend and I sat at the bar both times.
Experience a lively log cabin vibe with fantastic food, ample menu options, and a space perfect for memorable family gatherings.

Excellent food options to choose from the menu. Great place for a bridal shower or a family gathering in the Lodge Room. A gluten free menu is available. The food was delicious and exceptionally good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was similar to a lodge in the mountains. The best part of eating here was the chef made the food to your dietary needs. Overall, I will return in the near future.
Charming ambiance with elegant decor and a standout menu that leaves everyone craving for more—definitely a must-visit!

Lunch time on a Sunday, and we were the only ones in the place, which was a bit surprising because the food is out of this world!
The restaurant is beautiful. White linens. Gold framed paintings. Dimmed lighting. Lovely.
She had the beef stuffed ravioli -- exquisite.
I had the tutti di mare (gluten free, because they do that here and do it well) -- absolutely succulent.
Salads -- crisp, fresh, delicious.
Cannoli -- the freshest I've ever had. Decadent.
Upon my request, our server even made me a lavender Italian soda. Perfection.
She was friendly and attentive, and even let me know that the cannoli was not gluten free, because I had chosen gluten-free options for the other parts of my meal.
Every experience I've had here has been like this one. Never bad service. Never a bad food item. Magdaleno's is hands-down, my favorite Italian restaurant.
Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere perfect for any occasion, with enticing daily specials and a secret cocktail menu to explore.

My partner and I visit Macomb a few times a year and always make sure to include a trip to Testa Barra while here. Being diagnosed with Celiac has been incredibly challenging but places like Testa Barra really ease that anxiety. It's difficult to find tasty gluten free pasta or pizza and TB has both! The gf crust is amazing and the pasta was great as well. Our server catered to our allergy very well! Highly recommend checking this place out! Definitely find TB to be celiac safe!

Our car enthusiast group had an ideal dedicated room for dinner dining. We enjoyed the spacious windows overlooking the lake, very fun seaside décor with a fireplace and excellent service. Upon entering our room, a beverage table with lemon tea, coffee and other offerings was prepared just for us. A group of polite hostesses greeted each one of us. was all spectacularly awesome! Kind and attentive bartenders were all amazing. I recommend the Bruschetta appetizer, and Steak & Shrimp for a main entree! All were wonderful!!
I had ordered the Salmon Salad, had a nice balance of dressing and the salmon was really tasty. It was quality salmon, neither over done or under done. The accompanying bread was exceptional. Gluten free items are on the menu and desserts are excellent. They serve delicious American cuisine, and provide an unforgettable ambiance the reflect the water, boating, sailing and ships.
It was too cool that evening for dining on the patio, but I’d like to go back and take that in. The outdoor patio was spacious and looks like a quality experience. You can do pickup, delivery, or dine in. Definitely, make a reservation ahead of time to not be disappointed.
We were impressed with how many seating options are available, several rooms in addition to ours. Thanks to RedWater Restaurants for this delightful waterfront dining option. We had no problem finding parking and pre-arrangements were easy and our meal order was perfectly fulfilled. Restrooms are spacious and luxurious. They gave our group ample staff when did exceptionally great at serving everyone very quickly.
This place is highly recommended by our table.

Definitely eat here! There's several reasons why its a local favorite and you won't regret it!
The food:
What a pleasantly unexpected variety of dietary options for a Tavern! The amount of tasty Gluten Free choices available here far exceed anywhere else that I've found in Muskegon thus far! The chef has a solid handle on seasoning and flavors just to say the least. Our steaks were cooked perfectly to order (medium-rare), perfectly seasoned, and were so juicy! The sides were so delicious that they stand up on their own. My Gluten Free son swears their burgers and tacos are the best he's ever had (my heart isn't too broken since he shares sometimes lol).
The service and atmosphere:
Excellent, friendly, and efficient service is provided for sure each time we've frequented.
The atmosphere / service
It's one of those places where you feel welcomed as if you're a regular even when you're new in town! (I'm not super new to the area anymore, but even when we were) the atmosphere and service will absolutely keep you coming back.
After about a year in town my son also began working at the Tavern as his first job and I was not at all surprised to hear how exceptionally clean the back of house is kept, since everytime I had eaten there the dinning room and tables were so well maintained!
It really is a great family owed, neighborhood gathering place with great food and service! So blessed to have such a cool eatery so close by!
Guests rave about the vibrant atmosphere and attentive service, making for memorable dining experiences despite a few hiccups.

Love this place overall. On this particular visit, we had a little trouble with some of the food. The mahi-mahi was very dry and the shrimp was over crisp on one side. Still juicy inside though. They also prepared us a to-go item that was supposed to be gluten free but apparently flour was added to the sauce during prep, which is not the norm. They acknowledged this when they brought it to the table, but it was late and they didn't have time to make another batch. Instead they made up for that by pro bonoing the takeout dish as one of us could eat it. Some loud diners at a table next to us that seemed to want the attention of all the tables around them. Our waiter was above and beyond, making a positive difference in our overall experience.
Enjoy an upscale dining experience in a casual atmosphere complete with attentive servers and a nod to the changing seasons.

Great service and atmosphere! The view was beautiful. Highly recommend joining the waitlist online- our wait was 80 min. on a Sunday evening. We joined the waitlist before we left our hotel and then spent some time at the outdoor bar listening to live music while we waited for our table which was wonderful. The food was good and it was nice to have gluten free options for my dietary needs. We would go back.

Excellent fish restaurant, with a constantly changing menu of fish of the day. It's costly, but delicious. Warm bread, great appetizers and a variety of preparation styles. Had the walleye and seared perfectly. Balsamic salmon was amazing! They had a separate gluten-free menu and said that GF is prepared in a separate area.
Our food was excellent, the service was attentive and they also accommodated my wife's gluten allergy. We also appreciated the extra "flair" they gave us for celebrating our anniversary!

The atmosphere is nice and so are the ladies working there. I ordered the shrimp bruchetta which was sloppily drenched in a bland sauce w/ a long piece of hair on my cheese toast. The waitress and manager went above and beyond to attempt to rectify the situation....cooking staff obviously needs to wear hair nets. My co-woker ordered a gluten-free salad which wasn't and she had a reaction. I wouldn't return or recommend.

Excellent. I would give it 6 stars if I could. Honestly, the best meal I've eaten at a restaurant in years. Everything was flavorful and fresh. Their menu doesn't have clearly labeled gluten-free options, however, our server was very knowledgeable and told me what to steer clear of and what could be made gluten-free without issue.
My husband and I shared the Zuccini & Scallion Crepes appetizer and they were DELICIOUS. Seriously, we both said we could make a meal of those alone.
My husband ordered the Thai Peanut Noodles; excellent. The cilantro really made the flavor of the sauce stand out.
I had the Wasabi-Peppercorn Tenderloin. It was massively better than any steak I've had from a steak house in years.
For dessert we split the Chocolate-Passionfruit Mousse. It was light and the perfect balance of fresh & fruity and chocolate. Truly divine.
Hands down this place is worth treating yourself.
Perfect for special occasions, this place boasts a cozy atmosphere and excellent quality, making it worth the splurge.

New menu does not give me flexibility for a tailored meal to my liking. I ordered the Signature Cod Imperial which had Jazmine rice and asparagus as sides. I was told I could not substitute a potato side for the Jazmine rice. I was told to order a shareable side of a cheesy potato dish. I am gluten free and the side had gluten plus why should I order extra sides when a meal already has sides? The asparagus was very good, the rice ordinary, but the cod was very overcooked and the crab imperial mix was odd tasting. My husband ordered the same dish. We did not finish our meals and did not take leftovers home like we usually do. The waitress was very nice and apologized for our not liking the new menu but said the whole group of Bonefish now has this new menu.
Enjoy a laid-back vibe perfect for gatherings, where attentive staff ensures a delightful experience with awesome service and unforgettable desserts.

My friends and I wanted a relaxing time to get together, chat and enjoy each other’s company over good food and drinks during happy hour. When I asked the waitress (Teri) for a gluten-free menu, she quickly brought me one and offered to bring the chef out to speak with me about my gluten free options on the happy hour menu. Chef Dan Dettloff came out and spoke with us and was even willing to change some things to accommodate my allergy. Although, I decided on a full dinner he was kind enough to make sure I got exactly what I wanted and how I wanted it. He made sure my friends also received the same thoughtfulness. He patiently took our order and then went back to the kitchen to make sure my dish was carefully prepared. Our wonderful waitress, Teri, returned with our drinks and made sure we had everything we wanted as we waited for our food. Chef Dan brought us our food and made sure we were happy with everything. Teri and Chef Dan kept us very happy and made sure we never ran low on our drinks. The manager, Drea, stopped by to make sure we were all happy with our service and food. We said how we felt spoiled and were extremely happy with the food and service. Chef Dan stopped by and suggested crème brûlée for dessert since it is gluten free. We were quite full from the amazing food but then decided to share an order of the crème brûlée. It was DELICIOUS!! Even one of my friends who is not a fan of the dessert had changed her mind. It was the best we have ever had! We will definitely going back soon because there’s nothing like great food, great service and great company to lift your spirits.

I visited Red Lobster for lunch after an amazing massage at Hand and Stone, hoping to grab a good meal in a relaxed environment. The atmosphere was calm when I arrived, and there weren’t many people, which I appreciated at first. However, after placing my order, the attentive service I expected seemed to wane.
I ordered my usual gluten-free meal: a 7oz sirloin steak cooked well-done, fries, a house salad with lime cilantro dressing, and a Pepsi with extra ice. The food was delicious, as always, and exactly what I needed.
Service, however, was just okay. I felt a bit left on my own after the initial order. This location seems to vary in consistency; sometimes the staff is really attentive, but today was a more distant experience. I wouldn’t say it was bad, but it didn’t stand out either. Overall, it’s a decent spot, but quality/experience can be a bit unpredictable.

I recently visited Joe Muer on a work trip and was pleased with my visit. I am gluten free (not Celiac) and was able to find several options to suit my dietary needs. I absolutely recommend the lobster bisque - it was 100/10. My walleye dish was well seasoned and delicious as well. When it came to dessert, I got the cheesecake and boy, let me tell you...I've been dreaming of it ever since. Everything was wonderful, and expect to pay for that top-tier experience. On a nice day, try to request a window seat!
ZERO stars for poisoning my husband. His waitress asked if he wanted "rice" with his lobster. He said he has Celiac Disease and to please check with the chef that the meal is gluten free. She then brought him ORZO rice. Orzo means pasta/gluten! He deserves all his money back and then some. His health is priceless and nothing will take away the damage this food caused on his body. IF YOU WORK IN A RESTAURANT YOU SHOULD KNOW ORZO=GLUTEN. Did she really ask the chef? He had never had orzo (having celiac disease) and didn't recognize it as different until after a few bites noticing the different texture.

I've only been here once and my experience can only reflect the meal that I purchased. That being said prices were higher than Im used to but they pulled through on quality and service. I'm not a fine dining expert but this place feels like it should cost more in reality.
I got the seared tuna, Cesar salad, 2 oysters and I requested 2 mules despite not seeing mules on the menu. Price was under 80, and I tipped 25 percent+ (20 dollars). Total was roughly 98.88 with tip. Oysters specifically were 4 dollars each which is definitely reasonable outside of happy hour special. Also they were served just how I like them with a fantastic cocktail sauce and lemon.
Food was ready within ten minutes of me ordering it, and even the side salad was spot on.
Portion size were solid, I'm a 220 lb guy and it was actually perfect, not too much not too little.
For those with celiac disease I highly recommend this place(I have celiac disease myself).
Server was polite and respectful, she was never gone for too long in case I needed anything.

This is my second time eating here. The first time I had the steak and shrimp hibachi. It was okay, but I wasn’t a fan. This time I ordered the lunch boil with mild garlic butter snow crab and shrimp for $23. In my bag were two small clusters, a nice amount of medium shrimp, three red skin potatoes to sub for the sausage, and half an ear of slightly overcooked corn. The amount of food I received for that price was not bad at all. While the taste was good, I don’t think I am a fan of the spice mix because it makes the sauce too salty. The lady who took my order over the phone was really nice and very helpful once I told her that I couldn’t have gluten. I’ll definitely be back for another boil without the spice mix!

We went to Dockers Fish House for the first time in a few years, and we loved it! We will definitely be returning. I cannot eat gluten, and while they don’t clarify gluten free options directly on the menu, our server was so helpful and knowledgeable of items that are prepared/could be prepared gluten free—of which there were several! My husband got the chicken burrito bowl, and I got the Hawaiian pork bowl, and they were both delicious. The live music was a fun touch, and overall our experience was enjoyable. The food was good. They tried very hard to keep one of our meals gluten free by cooking it separately and prior to the other meals. We had multiple food allergies at the table (from both sets of diners) and they did a great job of making it a safe eating experience.
Our chef, however, was not one of the ones that puts on any type of "show" and that was disappointing. That's part of the hibachi experience and we definitely missed it. They stated that someone would be around to take free photos for everyone when we arrived and that never happened.
We went because of a birthday coupon but in the future, we'll visit other hibachi restaurants, as we enjoy the experience and fun that this type of dining is supposed to provide and Benihana didn't live up to that expectation.
