Such a great experience! I came for a birthday meal with my friends and they went above and beyond to make it special. I am always a little nervous to go to places as I am gluten free and don't want to be difficult, but Izzie was super attentive, always cracking us up (despite being very busy) and nothing seemed too much to ask. The service and food were speedy and I loved their tiramisu!!
A go-to spot for tasty meals with a standout variety of options, perfect for gatherings and special occasions.

Visited yesterday for both breakfast and later for dinner.
Cote chosen primarily to cater for eight year old granddaughter who has Coeliac condition. We were on half term break to Winchester. It is so often difficult to find a restaurant, where there is reliable knowledge of the dietary needs this condition.
We were confidently catered for !! Staff were courteous and helpful. The food was delicious.Much appreciation for a worry free experience
With stunning decor, a buzzing atmosphere, and ample space for dogs, this spot is perfect for a lively meal with friends or family.

Absolutely lovely pub. Brilliant service by Zoe - really friendly and attentive. They have such a big variety of gluten free food (very few places that do) which I liked because I’m coeliac and at most places am so limited. The gf food was also very good and not just the basic usual gf food in restaurants. They have actually made an effort. Atmosphere was perfect. It’s in a nice village too. Really recommend for a meal out.

We had a lovely birthday meal here.
Food was reasonably priced and tasted delicious. The tart was especially good! I found the crumble a little too cinnimon-y for my liking but otherwise delicious. Also had a variety of gluten free and vegan options.
Service was also really friendly although a little too efficient at times. They took away the dips from our appetiser whilst I was literally still holding bread in my hand.
Atmosphere so lovely. Nice decor and lighting. Table behind us was a little obnoxious and loud but not the restaurant's fault.
Would come back.

Gluten free availability is a little vague but theirs gf bread and anything sausage is a no go on gluten. But American breakfast is real tasty. High rating on the tater tots. So crunchy and gooey so so good.

Fantastic place to visit for food and drinks. Exceptional food and quality local produce. Friendly staff and lovely location. Caters for gluten-free and plenty of free parking. We really enjoyed ourselves and had 3 courses it was that good! It has a lovely shop too!

I have just collected and then left uneaten the least inspiring gluten-free food that I have seen this year, anywhere. I was really quite hungry after a walk, however the undercooked bacon in two dry buns looked so unappetising that I left it on the plate untouched. My wife did make some inroads into one of them and the dog had the bacon out of the other. Not really good enough these days when there is such a choice of places to eat out there.
Enjoy a lively atmosphere with quick seating for groups and an easy allergens menu, making it a popular spot despite limited starter options.

Good range of food, veggie and gluten free. A group of 8 of us on a busy Saturday afternoon they were able to seat us quite quickly, ordered drinks, from the children's menu, they have a allergens menu via a qr code. Friendly staff too

My partner and I had a delicious and much needed lunch here. We found the food to be delicious and the service wonderful. They had no problem making a gluten free adjustment to my partner's meal (coeliac disease). Highly recommend!

We rented The Black Room at Forte for my baby’s 1st birthday. The staff were excellent and made the day completely hassle-free; we arrived to a room already set up for us, and were assisted with displaying the food we had brought with us for the babies. The canapés provided by Forte was excellent - everyone commented on how good they were! And they were able to accommodate dietary requirements of some of our guests (gluten free, vegan etc.) Thank you to the team! Would highly recommend for any event.

Visited on 30/08/23 just for breakfast. Two of us and one in the party required Gluten Free bread for toast. The waitress asked if I was Coeliac when asking for GF toast. Very impressed.
Lovely little shop and cafe.

Visited the Ivy on a Sunday evening with some friends. We found the service somewhat lacking and had to ask for some things more than once and service took a long time.
I advised the waitress that I was gluten free which was fine but everything had to be researched via an app, I ordered but then I was surprised when I was served fries with my meal. I hadn't ordered them so was reluctant to eat them as I didn't know if they were safe for me to eat (it later turned out they were not). When we finally got the ladies attention we asked about the fries and explained I have a gluten allergy so I'm not sure I should have had them. The waitress said they were served in error but they wont be on the bill. Well obviously...
The starter was amazing, and the main was okay but for the price I would have expected slightly higher standard. Other peoples meals were a mix of 'fine' and 'really good'.
It wasn't overly busy so the noise levels were good and atmosphere much better than that of a Friday and Saturday, but the staff didnt seem to be on their game which was a bit disappointing.
I don't think we'll be rushing back to be honest. The allergy thing is made difficult here, having to cross check the menu with an app where the titles might not be the same. You can't join in conversations as you're heads down trying to figure out what you can have with little staff involvement to help you out.
If the Ivy is happy to serve a Vegan menu, why not have a Gluten free menu? It's just lazy and exclusive

I meet here every few months with friends, and while the coffee is good they only ever have the one choice of gluten free cake, and it's been the same on my last three visits.
Came here for breakfast before graduation and had a great experience fantastic food, and we had really stellar service from the lad waiting our table
Also great gluten free options

We stayed tonight with my wife. . We got on very well. The restaurant is welcoming, excellent food and service. I'd like to leave a positive feedback for the the manager that served me tonight. She was very kind, well-prepared and professional. Furthermore, at the demand for gluten-free food for my wife, she made sure that the kitchen environment was free of contamination in the preparation of the dish. We been extremely happy to eat here.

Really helpful staff with excellent knowledge of food intolerances. Most of the burgers can be adapted for the gluten and dairy intolerant. The only negative was the noise levels, would probably benefit from some soft furnishings to absorb the noise. Burgers were amazing!
