I love vegan comfort food! But often it is too heavy.... This place is the opposite! So flavorful and good for your belly. I love all the gluten free options and the cookies are deliscious. Highly reccomend 🤌

Visited Portland and when I visit I always search up new gluten free spots to try. Loved that there was gluten free options we appreciate you for that! We wanted to take our kiddo somewhere fun and I recommend this place all day for kiddos! She had so much fun. Food was good, not my cup of tea all the way but to someone else it's got to be their fave! Customer service was ok not rude but bland and really non energetic idk how to describe it lol I will still be back and I recommend others for give it a try as well!
It's rare that you can find a gluten free samosa, but here they are, and they are delicious! While we were eating my girlfriend pointed out to me that the guy next to us had left and had literally come in just for a small plate of samosas. Yeah, they're that good.
The soy curls in the Holy Basil were wonderfully marinated, and the taro sticky rice was warm and tastefully sweetened.
But the staff was what pulled this all together. While seemingly frantic as they tried to attend to a full house, I couldn't help but be impressed by their attentiveness to where we were in our meal. We ordered the dessert "for later" and it wasn't a minute after my girlfriend turned to me as we were finishing our entree and whispered "do we tell them when we're ready for dessert" that from the kitchen the owner (from what we could tell) emerged and said "are you ready for your dessert?" Some of the best customer attentiveness I've experienced.
Experience a cozy vibe with delicious ramen featuring traditional and modern twists, plus a thoughtful menu that caters to diverse preferences.

This place was awesome! My friends and I stopped by on a rainy day and everything was great. Service was attentive, wait times were quick, food was hot and delicious (try the pork belly baka bites, trust me)—everything you’re looking for in a cozy ramen shop. They even offer gluten free and vegetarian options that were equally delicious. The owner was super sweet and working the floor too! Happy to see the dedication to his place :) Job well done, keep it up!

Wow that was incredible. I got the poyo con queso, and it was 10/10. I understand why this place has 5.0 stars, it was 🔥. Their poyo is made from chickpea and wheat gluten, which is great cause I'm a little sensitive to soy and can't do soy curls
Charming and cozy spot known for its accommodating vibe, personalized spice levels, and delightful outdoor picnic seating.

My two friends and I went here the other night and sat in. The man who was seriving and hosting, who I don’t know the name of, was so sweet and kind. He gave us hot tea on the house since it was quite cold outside. As well as that, he gave us mango sticky rice on the house. Service was absolutely phenomenal, I tipped him 30%, he was super personable and joking around with us. The food was delicious and he made the See-Ew gluten free per request for me. The building is small and the lighting is fluorescent, but other than that it was clean and homey. I highly recommend this place!!

One of my favorite restaurants in Portland. The food is fantastic. After trying almost everything on the menu I almost always get the Chicken Makhani now.
They do a good job making it safe for my partner with Celiac. Everything gluten free is labeled on their menu.

I’m a big fan of hot dogs but usually find it difficult to be able to have them when I’m out to eat because a lot of restaurants don’t have gluten free hot dog buns. Zach’s Shack has them and will be receiving more visits from me because of it!
Great spot for a quick and affordable meal that satisfies, with a variety of options that won’t break the bank.

We needed a quick bite and their food hit the spot. I was surprised how low the prices were. I know this in not an expensive place to dine at. I feel like I spend more at a food cart. I hope this comment doesn’t make them feel the need to raise prices, lol. They had gluten-free and vegan options :)

This bright and airy space is welcoming, has a/c and the staff are super nice. The food is good and they have lots of gluten free options. This will definitely be my go to lunch spot when I'm Hawthorne from now on.
this wonderful little homey bakery opened up just down tabor hill from where i live at the end of e. hawthorne blvd. and I couldn't be happier. huge brick wood-fire ovens constantly filling the place smell of fresh baking bread, bright walls and windows, cardboard floors you have to be a little careful, not because they're naturally slippery, but because there is flour on them from all the baking done here. bread loaves to purchase or to eat there, great sandwiches from their fresh baked loaves and delicious soups. instead of quiche, a wonderful savory bread pudding for breakfast, and coffee that is always hot, fresh and portland strong. they are local bakers (you can watch them put the loaves into the wood fire ovens yourself) and are proud to be supplied by local farmers and grain growers. ignore all your portland hypochondriac friends fretting over wheat/gluten sensitivities, one bite from a fresh spelt loaf will have you feeling health coursing through your veins! “bread is agriculture” is their motto and amen to that, i say. also, free wifi. my few qualms might be wanting an egg sandwich for breakfast on the menu, or that they weren't closed on mondays & tuesdays - i know these hard working owners need days off, but those are prime work week times they could be catering to early commuters. but overall, a serendipitous find in southeast portland and worth the visit.
Yummy food! I've tried four dishes so far, and they're all very different, and all awesome. The quinoa salad is light and refreshing. The feijoada with black beans, sausage, beef and bacon is so flavorful and nourishing. And almost everything on their menu is gluten free too!
With unique sauces and perfectly cooked dishes, the vibe is warm and helpful, making it easy to enjoy your meal worry-free.

Very welcoming & friendly staff who helped me to know that my choices would be gluten-free. The grilled shrimp & vegetable dishes were perfectly cooked & the sauces were unique and delicious. I wish the restaurant chose to list GF DF items on their menu to assist those with gastric disabilities but it is nice when the employees step in to help.
