I can’t remember the last time I got to go to a sit down restaurant and eat without having to worry about what would or wouldn’t make me sick, but that changed today. To be able to go somewhere with a fully gluten free menu and finally have more options than just a salad or a burger with a gross, flimsy bun was such a wonderful change of pace. The gluten free options don’t even taste gluten free, and it makes me feel like I can finally eat what I want again! The wait staff was also so kind and the scenery was beautiful. 5 stars around the board.

DEDICATED FRYER!!! That should say enough for you to get over there! But, their bang bang shrimp (crispy gluten free tempura battered, fried in a dedicated fryer) was delicious! With a sweet Thai chili and spicy mayo drizzle. The fish tacos (gf battered, fried fish - or can be grilled) with a creamy slaw and corn tortillas served with crispy fry/chips were awesome! I had seen a review talking about lack of flavor - don’t listen to that. Could it use a pinch more salt? Sure. But it was incredibly flavorful, hot and so deliciously crispy, GF fried fish and shrimp! Wonderful experience! I recommend putting in a reservation to sit on the deck to make sure you get a spot outside!

A great place for dinner or brunch on the weekends, especially if you love grits! They even have a grit flight! All GF options are labeled on the menu. I got the flounder special over the garden style grits and also a side of the butter beans with bacon, which I highly recommend!

The best gluten free donuts you’ll ever have!! You choose your base donut (gluten or GF) and they pour whatever sauce and toppings over it! The bacon blitz is amazing!!! They can let you know what toppings are safe.

Great atmosphere. The Jasmin was fully in bloom as we ate outside with a heavenly scent. Our server (Stephanie) was cheerful and quite helpful. Overall a very pleasant experience. We'll be back! My wife has Celiac and they were knowledgeable and have a separate fryer for chips.

Great restaurant. They say it's Mediterranean and it has a definite Southern flair. They have a great happy hour when small plates are $7. They call them small plates but they are not really it's a generous serving I can recommend the shrimp and polenta as well as the oysters Rockefeller the gluten-free menu is accommodating as well.

A really great date night (or date lunch) - we've done both. The food is excellent, and the service is exceptional. They seem to take great care to be clean and sanitary (notice how they wipe each plate before setting it down), and are very conscientious about food allergies and conditions like celiac disease. They pay attention to the small things, which seems rare now-a-days. I highly recommend trying it out for yourself!

Very groovy place and one of the few celiac-friendly places where the GF options don't taste like gently moistened wallboard. Their gluten-free wings and pizzas are great. The interior design of the space is very Yellow Submarine. Relaxed vibe and good service.

Rick the owner was awesome, delivered our gluten free cake to us on thanksgiving morning after we didn’t get to the store in time the day before. The cakes are also as awesome as the service, we got the gf chocolate chip cake and it was amazing! I highly recommend this company!

We ordered a gluten free pizza and salad to go. The pizza was excellent - cheesy and well baked. Salad was also very good. We did decide we would probably only do take out here, because on our last visit, dine in, we couldn't get service. The girl at the cash register just said to sit anywhere outside and someone would be right with us. After two more requests, still nobody came out with menus or acknowledged us. Too busy inside with take out pick-ups, taking phone orders and waiting on a couple of inside tables. That was disappointing, because we wanted to sit outside and relax there. Ended up going somewhere else. However, we tried again this time with take out and were happy.

I've been a huge fan of Kairos since they opened. It's the model for a quality "fast casual" food experience that hasn't been matched by any other restaurant I've been to in the Charleston area. Great service, clean restaurant throughout, very quality and healthy food/topping options, and best of all at a great price. There's few restaurants you can make it out of these days with a stomach full of healthy(and gluten free) food for under $12.00. Keep it up Kairos!

Awesome place with unique coffee beverages. They have a variety of pancake, french toast, and egg options. If you are vegetarian or are on a gluten-free diet, you can ask for a separate menu, with one side listing what items are gluten-free and the other side of the menu listing the vegetarian options. The restaurant has a nice relaxed atmosphere with excellent service. The food came out quickly and was delicious. My wife's eggs Benedict was overcooked. We let our server know, they remade her eggs quickly with no fuss, and the eggs Benedict came out perfect. Would definitely recommend this establishment for breakfast!!!

Had many wonderful dinners here!! The staff is always incredibly kind and helpful. They are always very cautious of my gluten allergy and give recommendations as to what I can eat and modifications that can be made. Food is always incredible!! I have never had a bad meal.

Really good coffee, gluten free bread for egg sandwiches - great quick breakfast spot! The staff were all very friendly and easy to discuss gluten free options with. We ordered the “Farm Egg Sandwich” with sausage and the “Vintage Breakfast Sandwich” - both were delicious! We are both very sensitive celiacs - and had no reaction eating here. We felt confident in their cross contamination measures, but keep in mind they are not a dedicated GF facility. If you are en route to IOP, or just hanging out in Mt Pleasant near the target shopping center, make sure you stop by and try them out! This was the best dining experience we had in Charleston! I can’t rate it highly enough. We went to the location off of Lockwood, and it was simply amazing. The chef came out and talked to us about his method for making the pastries, and let us sample one of the beautiful French macarons. It was clear how much he cares about the quality of the food! They import a lot of ingredients from France, and grow their own herbs to garnish dishes. The owner actually got us settled for dinner - we had an amazing beef bourginon and a Mediterranean galette. I should say, a GLUTEN-FREE galette - they have extensive gluten-free options! Come get a crepe and enjoy the amazing customer service.

Food was good- pepperoni and basil on gluten free crust & another pepperoni on regular crust. Pizza is wood fired and has that thin crust, rustic, floury thing going on. The kids tried the hot honey on theirs and loved it! The meat and cheese board was good as well. We went on a weekend and there was competing music between here and the bar across the street, lots of people, lots of kids playing on the playground in the seating area.

Adrian was fabulous! I have food allergies and they were very attentive to my needs. The gluten-free menu is pretty extensive for lunch/dinner, I didn't look at the breakfast/brunch menu. Hushpuppies and okra were perfection. The salmon was delicious, the blackened sea bass was spot on, the country fried steak took up half the plate and was delightful. They graciously subbed grilled chicken for a burger that was moist and flavorful. The pimento cheese was definitely a step above.i think the only complaint was the pork chops needed a steak knife instead of a butter knife to cut.

Great food served by great people! I visited early in the morning for a quick bite while I waited for a family member to get out of surgery. I informed the staff that I had a wheat allergy and would need gluten-free bread, and they made sure that the cook was as careful as possible. The staff was phenomenal, incredibly friendly, and beyond respectful. I can’t say enough positive about my experience!

Kacey went out of his way to ensure that we had a perfect meal and continued to check in on us throughout the dining process. They have the best gluten free pasta (and regular pasta) in town. Love Jersey Mikes. The fact that they are able to make their delicious subs on Gluten Free buns is awesome; the fresh meats, delicious cheeses and great veggies make their subs a hit. Customer service is always great. Order accuracy and attention to detail are their hallmarks. The store is always welcoming and clean. They were trained to prepare subs separately sand will take every precaution necessary to reduce the risk of cross contamination, and we eat there often without issue, but those with celiac or severe gluten intolerance should be aware that there is ways the risk of inadvertent gluten exposure. Again, we never had any issues and eat there often. Do join the Shore Points program and start earning points towards free subs.
