We drove an hour to come here and it was so worth it. We are from South Carolina and had a Southern waiter, Conner. He was awesome!!! Please let him know he made our experience so much better with the sweet tea. We've been on the west coast since January and have really missed sweet tea while eating out. It hit the right spot! Thrilled we found a MM finally. Two of us are gluten free and love their gf pizza and know that it is safe for us to eat. Several hours later and I am feeling fine. No contamination. Conner said he'd make sure they knew it was for an allergy (celiac actually). He was tentative, friendly (we miss southern hospitality too so thank you for that!), understanding and quick with our order. The host was also friendly and quickly got us a booth for our party of 5. Pizza and gluten free brownies were delicious. We all left very satisfied with our service and have put this mellow mushroom (we've been to several) as one of our faves!

Being new to Nebraska, we are finding our new favorites for everything, and Honest Abe's is top of our list! We require gluten-free and budget friendly, and they fit the bill. We have used take out and delivery. Very cheerful employees. I originally emailed about gluten-free options and received a pleasant and helpful response immediately! I can't say enough about them. We really enjoy the curry sauce.

Rich and creamy milk-based ice cream with dairy free and gluten free options. They even have a gluten free sugar cone. Specialty flavors are fun and creative. The almond brittle with salted ganache was out of this world - the chocolate chunk sizes are generous and plentiful. Service is very helpful and friendly. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. An instant new favorite when visiting Lincoln.

If you're looking for a place that offers a fantastic selection of ciders, food, and a fun and unique atmosphere, this is the spot! First off, their ciders are exceptionally crafted—light, crisp, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. The cocktails were creative, flavorful, and expertly crafted. The charcuterie board was the perfect pairing for the ciders and all of their food is gluten free. Also, the vibe at SARO is awesome. They offer live music, and the trivia nights throughout the week. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable.

Honest Abe’s Downtown is hands down one of the best burger spots in Lincoln. Their rotating burger specials are what keep me coming back—they’re always creative, always delicious, and sometimes a little outside the box in the best way possible. One of the biggest surprises for me? Peanut butter on a burger. I had never even considered it before, but after trying one of their specials that featured peanut butter, I was completely hooked. It added this amazing creamy texture and a slight sweetness that balanced perfectly with the savory beef and toppings. Now, I put peanut butter on every burger I make at home—it’s that good. Terrible restaurant. We ate at a similar place in KC many years ago and loved the big salad bar, so we were excited to try the salad bar here. The website makes it sound like its got lots of gluten free options, but the reality of the experience was much different. Food looked like it had been out forever, nothing tasted fresh, most of it was flavorless or terrible tasting. The salad bar itself was small with minimal selections. We instantly regretted our decision to eat here. Barely anyone else in the restaurant and even while we didn't get the meat, the meat looked overcooked and you hardly saw them bringing anything out. Highly recommend to avoid.

Went back after 8 years, wish I just stayed away. Used to be my favorite restaurant. They have let me down. Zero gluten free options that are also meatless, other than their house salad. And my house salad was clearly last nights salad kept in the fridge…it was completely wilted and limp with a Parmesan crisp that had nothing crisp about it. Had to cut, fold and pull apart the fridge cold crisp, that should break when tapped with your fork edge. Sides did not come with our sandwiches , I had the Jamaican jerk wrap with a side salad (it came with no side) and the side salad was not even substituted as a side for gluten free people when their meal came with a side. Would have chosen a different meal, if the rest of my party could have had a real dinner. Unfortunately, a waste of time. Because of their lack of creativity in their food and lack of respect for people with sensitivities, I will not be going back (even though I can eat gluten) because it was that bad.

I want to start off and say that the service was great! Everyone was very nice and friendly and even answered some questions I had with smiles and positive attitudes. My issue was pretty much everything else. The food was worse than mediocre. I got a gluten free pepperoni pizza and a regular pizza from the Buffett. Both kinds of pizzas just didn’t taste good to me. I tried some other things but nothing was very appetizing. The buffet pizzas were soggy in the crust and flavors were less than optimal. I’m not sure if I just didn’t like the pizza at this specific pizza ranch franchise (because I’ve really liked other pizza ranch’s I’ve been to) but something seemed definitely off. The smell of the place was also rather disgusting. It smelled like I was in a McDonald’s play area the entire time. Maybe the smell was one of the reasons the food was so unappetizing to eat. For the service, this pizza ranch was wonderful. But, since this is a restaurant and the food was not good and the atmosphere was rather disgusting, I cannot recommend this specific pizza ranch. The pizza ranch in Hutchinson has very good food and great service!

This place is awesome! As a family with gluten and dairy allergies it can be hard to find gluten and dairy free options. This stuff has TONS! The produce is good, the freezer section is fantastic and they have supplements galore! The prices on many things are literally the best in town. They also have an extensive collection of soap that we have been using. We cannot recommend natural grocers enough. Shop here. Just do it.

Andrew served us! Andrew is very polite, and gave us some good recommendations upon inquiry. We ended up choosing two items that were mentioned. I had the Scallop and Pork Belly Carbonara. It was a good portion size with delightfully buttery scallops and deliciously tender pork belly. I loved the creamy egg yolk sauce! The lemons garnishing the plate added a nice zest. I also got to try the Honey Soy Glazed Chicken. We don't have any gluten intolerance, but that dish happens to be gluten free and I can vouch for it being a great choice! I particularly enjoy how this dish is out together visually. It's beautiful, and I love the glaze on the chicken. We finished our meal by sharing a slice of Chocolate Dobos Torte, and I don't remember if we were told what sauce was glazed onto the cake but it was a pleasant way to finish our evening. As we ate, I looked over to the bar area, and the staff were smiling and laughing together during a brief moment. While this was only a glimpse, I sincerely hope the staff enjoy working here as much as it seemed they do. I always make sure to leave a good tip, but I hope you're all getting paid well because it seems like you're doing fantastic. Be proud of your work! Thank you, Andrew. :)

Hy-Vee is a great store. Sure, it can be a little pricey, but that's only if you don't know the secrets. 🙂 Shop on Wednesday and you get wellness discounts on a lot of items. The sales they have are really good. My family especially appreciates the Gluten free and Dairy free selections they have. It is a well marked and stocked section in this particular store.

They claim to have Gluten Free options but don't have a gluten free section. You have to search for them. The workers didn't know where they were but very helpful. Zach was a very knowledgeable young man, showed me there was a online list of their Gluten Free products. After spending an hour searching through their store everything is cramped, way too much product over other product. As a health food store I was surprised at the lack of organization, no organic section & the no Gluten Free section. Then asked if there was a spot i could put up a flyer for my herbal business, they told me no there isn't. Until I find a better option, I'll have to return. But they need a dedicated Gluten Free section for those of us on the Autism Spectrum & Celiacs Disease.

First time checking this place out - was super good! They are plenty of gluten-free options (corn shells in place of wheat). I had chicken quesadillas and some kind of a birria tacos. The additional sauces were really good. You get chips and sauce as an appetizer automatically. Service was really great, options for indoor and outdoor seating, alcoholic drinks if you choose, and the place was nice and clean. It's a little weird to find the door to get in, but pretty good parking. My friend and I averaged $43 for each of our meals plus a split appetizer, but we were also starved and got more food than a sane person.

Giles was absolutely the best waiter we've had in a long time, anywhere! Service was GREAT! Numerous beers available on tap is a plus.... then our food came and no one at my table was disappointed!! Even the Gluten Free buns were on point! The jalapeño raspberry jelly was literally like no other! And the queso was so delicious!! Next time we're in Lincoln we will definitely be back!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

They have many gluten free options listed on their robust menu. Food is good, staff is great. However if you are gluten sensitive or intolerant be mindful that margaritas are not going to be for you. I wasn't aware that margaritas could possobly contain gluten, a rookie GF person mistake.

tried it for the first time and it was absolutely incredible. They were very knowledgeable about dietary restrictions and easily told me all of their gluten free options. it cannot be overstated how insanely good it was. I got their chicken parm Hands down the best gluten free meal I've gotten from a restaurant in lincoln. I will be back soon for more potato soup and to work my way through the rest of the menu!

My wife is GF and we would go out of our way to eat here. Now there are only maybe 4 GF sauces. We just made our very LAST stop at a Hu Hot Poor business decision...

My food was great. I only had a small issue with my granddaughter. She is very young and gets sick as she has celiac. Lunch was fine, as she had a GF bun. Couldn't get fries due to cross contamination, so she had steamed broccoli. All was good until she went up for her free ice cream. They had a snickers ice cream. She asked if it was gluten free, they said yes. It's not a good thing she knows that real snickers aren't GF (she thought it would have been a deconstructed snickers). Anyway, she didn't eat it, they replaced it with vanilla. Thanks for the adjustment, but please, be careful.

Jason? I think is his name. Heard great things about this place and wanted to see what it was all about. Have celiac family and called to check to see if they had any gluten free pizza options(pretty common by the way) and the guy on the line said “No, we don’t and we never will.” If this is how their employees speak to potential customers on the phone, I can’t imagine the train wreck they have inside the restaurant.

We let the server and the cook know we needed gluten free meals. The grill was cleaned before our food placed on, but then the same utensils were used for our food and everyone else's. The worse part is the chef used the same tools for pork, seafood, and beef all at different stages of cooking without cleaning at all. This is a huge health hazard not just for those with allergen needs. We immediately asked for the check when we sat down and saw the shrimp wasn't even fully cooked. We were charged full price for two buffets without eating a bite and leaving immediately after seeing the health and safety violations.
