My boyfriend and I, together with our dog, spent the day of 06/30 and stayed the night at the Locanda dei Golosi.
We arrived around 1 pm and after settling into our apartment (diplomatic, each apartment has the name of a dessert in fact) we went to the restaurant.
Really excellent typical products, cold cuts, cheeses and to make sure we didn't miss anything, egg with truffle (as in the photo) all accompanied by a good Umbrian wine.
In the afternoon we went to the pool where we were also able to bring our dog (on the lawn obviously) and for us this was also a plus in addition to the silence and relaxation.. what we were looking for!
Very well-prepared breakfast and also attentive to celiacs/lactose intolerants!
In addition to offering typical Umbrian savory products there is a vast assortment of sweets and fruit.
Excellent discovery and we will definitely return to stay more days; in fact the inn is in an excellent location (Assisi 20 minutes away for example)

truly an excellent restaurant, 4 of us were there on Tuesday 19th November, specifically searched for celiacs. Excellent food, the chef is really good, excellent service and maximum friendliness. The prices are worth what we ate. the starter and first course were enough to fill us up. Very welcoming and clean place. Definitely worth a visit if you are in those parts. We will be back!

We had a delightful dining experience at Il Cocco Ristorante. As a celiac, I was thrilled to discover there was a guide that detailed every dish served. This guide listed every ingredient in every dish and what allergens were in it. What a relief!
The service was excellent, the food piping hot and delicious, and the ambiance just what I like--calm with the pleasant hum of people talking quietly. We arrived at 7:00, when they opened, and the restaurant was packed within 15 minutes. So glad we arrived when we did. We would go back in a minute to this restaurant if we were staying longer in Orvieto. We highly recommend it to diners!

I was passing through for lunch with two of my peers, excellent location, wonderful welcome and truly professional and nice staff. We sat down around 1.30pm, time to order and the dishes and drinks arrived immediately (we left a few minutes after 2.30pm). We started with an excellent appetizer of mixed cured meats and cheeses accompanied by a very good pear sauce, as a second course we chose Strascinati di cascia, fresh sausage, bacon, egg, pecorino, lemon zest and Sichuan pepper and to end in style a shortcrust tartlet with custard, small fruit, raspberry jam and Italian meringue and a revisited tiramisu given that one of us is intolerant to gluten free, everything was really good, compliments to the kitchen, they have excellent hands and a lot of passion. The super prepared, friendly and pleasant waiter is ready to provide any advice and information if necessary. The owners are also very nice, I thank the staff for giving me the opportunity to taste the gluten-free variants.
Ample parking, covered tables outside, well-kept tables, reasonable prices. We will be back!!

The person who ate with me was very happy with the quality of the pizza dough: light and very digestible. Unfortunately, there is no alternative for those affected by celiac disease.
