I came here because it was nearby and offered a ton of gluten free options. At the time I had no idea I was being attended to by the owner and let me tell you that I was beyond amazed by how deliciously authentic this ice cream was and how friendly the owner was. He encouraged us to follow the instagram and thats where I began to learn more about this family-owned company along with how beautiful their story is. I will be visiting their Citadel location since it is closer to home, but this location deserves some love if you happen to be in the area. I tried the Guava Cheesecake, Peanut Buttercup , and Ma-May. All suuuuuppeeeerrr amazing and am so excited to visit again in the near future.

The pizza was good, I have never had Detroit style in Detroit, but comparable to other Detroit styled pizzas I have had in the past. I got the Vodka Pizza and the sauce was delicious. The cheese also had a good pull, but could have used more. The cocktails were pretty good, but since this is a chain, don't expect drinks to look the same as they do on Instagram. The sushi was fresh and delicious. The fried rice dish was a hit. The restaurant provided a gluten free “soy sauce.” The service was very slow and the restaurant was practically empty. We did arrive when it seemed all of the staff was trickling in for dinner service as we had a late lunch. The music was very annoying, electronic beats that were repeated over and over again that were too loud for an empty restaurant. I wish we had sat outside it would have been more relaxing. The restaurant also had floor seating with tables across from the sushi bar for a more authentic feel if you like to get down low.

Truly disappointed. I found the restaurant on instagram and have been excited to try their food for a while now and let's just say I was not impressed. I am gluten free and on their instagram gluten free banana waffles are advertised but not available In store. The waiter mentioned that they have almond flour but that it was not available. My friend ordered a sandwich which is advertised with fries and shockingly enough (sarcasm) it was not available either. The guacamole did not taste fresh at all as a matter of fact it reminded me a lot of the premade Hass guacamole. We were basically the only ones in the restaurant when we got there other then a couple who was already eating outside yet somehow people that walked in maybe 20 minutes later and ordered more food then us received their meal first. The staff was nice but didn't really seem like they were very happy to be working except for two gentlemen who were running around attending to everyone. Truly disappointed in our experience today.
Also the tip is already included in the tab..... I guess we know why.
