Extremely delicious food! Was in the town for the weekend and stopped in for brunch because I saw this restaurant was exclusively plant-based. I got the gluten-free savory waffles (under the brunch menu waffles 2 ways) which could quite easily be the tastiest breakfast I’ve ever had. Was able to eat outdoors and enjoy the weather too ☀️ Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back and try some more!

I was looking for a healthy breakfast after my cycle workout and this was absolute perfection. I had the avocado toast with lox (they even have gluten free options, which I had) with a smoothie. It was delightful and the ambiance is super fresh. Go experience it for yourself :-)

I have a new found eating place. Being celiac, there are not many options for noodle dishes, but omgosh, I had an amazing meal finally, pasta and grilled chicken with alfredo sauce,and I even got an extra to go and a rice crispy treat that was so big and 😋 😋 yummy

We enjoyed a great meal on the patio. Food is ready super fast and is so fresh and good. Easily customize for food allergies including dairy and gluten free. The brisket is amazing… we’ll be back!

Had a long out the front, but the staff was quick to get everyone through. The homemade pastries were so delicious with some vegetarian and gluten free options. The staff were friendly and helpful all while being quick on their feet our entire time we were there. A rather cute place and well worth a visit.

I almost put four stars but then felt guilty. The reason being the portion sizes seem small for the price, but I'm going to add the caveat that I live in a rural area, where things are dirt cheap. So it's likely my bias. That aside, the food was great. I got a ham and brie and they had gluten free bread which is always exciting. Gluten free is well marked on the menu. overall, a nice little lunch spot.

I really loved the fact that the menu had plenty of vegan and gluten free options. I would recommend the black pepper tofu and broccoli. Cozy, lively atmosphere and our waitress was such a sweetheart. Would definitely eat here again.

This was one of the best breakfast experiences I’ve had! The service was fantastic and our waitress was able to easily accommodate my gluten free diet. Our entrees were great, coffee was delicious, and the inn vibes were cozy. Definitely worth a stop!

Wonderful dinner and service. We were so happy that the heat broke and we were able to eat outside. Our server kept our water glasses full which was very appreciated since it was still warm. I am Gluten, Dairy and soy free so I always worry what I'll be able to eat. The server helped me pick and I got the brussel sprouts over grits with chicken. I also had a few cocktails, My husband had the salmon burger The Ego Boost is a really nice cocktail, I would recommend it if you like bourbon. We finished the night with the GF almond and olive oil cake that was to die for. Excellent dinner and experience overall.

This was such a quaint spot to stop into while browsing the Downtown Mall area of Charlottesville! It’s a little hidden and we stumbled upon it by accident, but I believe that adds to the charm of the place. It’s on the top floor so you will need to walk up steps and I didn’t see an elevator for those with mobility concerns. At the top you’re greeted by a Bedouin themed area with both table and chair seating and traditional Bedouin style seating (low tables and cushions for seats). There is also a private seating area in the back with similar Bedouin style seating and a few outdoor table/chair seats. Although it has varying tea options, there were a decent amount of food options as well. The restaurant is vegetarian with a decent number of vegan options as well. They do also have the option to add salmon to some of their dishes if you prefer meat protein. Vegetarian/Vegan/Gluten Free options are labeled on the menu so no need for guessing. We ordered Blossoming Tea, the Smoked Salmon Sandwich with a side of Dahl, the Coconut Cardamon Cake, and the Vegan Spice Cake. First time trying dahl so for those who also haven’t tried it before, it’s made of lentils so tastes like a grainer porridge. We enjoyed the spice cake but found the Cardamon Teacake a tad dry. The Smoked Salmon Sandwich was wonderful. As a tea enthusiast this was a great visit, but this is also a must visit if you just want a cool place to take a break or if you want a cozy spot to eat. We had The Local cater our wedding and it was an amazing experience! We had tons of options and everything was customizable. The biscuit bar immediately sold us too! Our dinner was a plated meal and it was similar to restaurant style set up and serving. We were able to have children’s meals as well as vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free plates for guests! No one went hungry or thirsty! The staff was enjoyable and floated through the venue like pros making sure everything was managed and everyone was happy. They 100% contributed to the smoothness of the evening. My glass was always full and I was met with politeness and hospitality. During the planning phase we even were invited to the restaurant for a meal and were shown great hospitality then too. I would definitely recommended this location to anyone looking for a GREAT meal and GREAT service.

Always a great go to for work lunch. They deliver over to the clinic making it super convenient. My favorites are the remarkable sandwich on gluten free bread and the soup of the day (changes each day so I call ahead to ask). They have several gluten free options. Always delicious!

They use a gluten-free sauce and all of their foods. I was so excited because I so sell them get to eat Asian food without a belly ache. We had the drunken noodles which were fabulous and much more full of vegetables that I'm used to getting. My boyfriend had the chicken and I had the tofu. Both were delicious. Service was friendly and fast! Great atmosphere
