Got my salad and had croutons in. Staff were quite surly and unhelpful and inflexible. We witnessed a customer asking if he could have broccoli- even pay extra. Rude staff just said no?!

Our group had a mix of people with dietary restrictions (gluten intolerant, vegetarian). This restaurant provided a gluten free option with the almond gnocchi which was amazing. Moussaka was flavorful and filling but the star of the show was the cevapi. Would definitely return here as it was one of the better restaurants we went too. The menu clearly states what diestary restrictions apply to each menu item as well. We had a few beers and specialty drinks as well so the price is very reasonable.

I feel bad that I’m giving this place a bad review. However, the food was lackluster, it was overpriced, and the service was bad. We visited because it was purported to have gluten free options, which it did, but sure, fish is gluten free, and so is pumpkin soup. It’s not like the had gluten free pasta or anything else other than a couple salads. The place had nice ambiance but so do all the eateries in Korcula.

The incredible location, between the peristyle of Diocletian's Palace and the Temple of Jupiter. Good atmosphere, tastefully decorated place, tremendously friendly staff and homemade food, with lots of good flavors. We tried the chorizo nachos and the ropa Vieja tacos, good portions and very delicious. You can only pay in cash. They had gluten-free options (their patatas bravas, the tacos, and the nachos). It may not be the cheapest in Split, but I understand that you also pay for quality, especially in a good Mexican (fusion), which is almost harder to find. We would return without a doubt!

This was our last lunch in Croatia and it was amazing. The pizza was delicious — both gluten free crust and the the traditional Neoplatonia crust was fresh and amazing. My son like the Salsa pasta so much we ordered a second portion.

I ordered gluten free pasta and they charged you 2 euros extra for it (which they don’t inform btw) and the pasta was from the supermarket. II COSTED ME 28 EUROS for a small dish of supermarket pasta + a white sauce they dared to call “truffle sauce”.
Plus, the toilets were completely dirty!
If they want to positioned as a high end restaurant, they should offer decent food and clean toilets at least.
A DISASTER!
Ps. I had to go to have dinner to another place because I was starving.

Posteni was excellent! I ordered the spicy mussels and the Dalmatino pizza. The bowl was FULL of mussels and the sauce was great! We dipped some bread in it (delicious!) the Dalmatino pizza was also very good! If you like prosciutto then this is a great choice. The crust is very light and cooked perfectly. Our waiter was Mirko and went above and beyond to accommodate our party of 9. He is fast, efficient, and has a good sense of humor. While we were here, we got to meet the elderly gentleman whose family has owned this restaurant since 1933. The black risotto is his own recipe! 2 people in our party got the black risotto and LOVED it. Not too “seafood tasting” for those who aren’t major seafood fans. We also have 2 gluten-free members that require meals to be cooked completely separate from gluten foods and this restaurant delivers! Posteni has a great atmosphere that’s outdoors along a promenade and is very close to the main marina area. A great place to eat! Try it out.

I was really excited to come here as I saw there was mention of gluten free items on the menu, however when I went to order the vegan Thai green curry there was a €3 surcharge to make it gluten free, when I asked what this was for it was to remove the bread from the dish…the waitress kindly went and spoke to the owner to have this waived but a restaurant can’t charge you more money for less food it’s completely illogical. Gluten intolerance isn’t some trendy thing, it’s a very unfortunate medical condition and I do think this restaurant should be more sensitive towards that and not punish diners who are unable to consume gluten. The curry came and unfortunately it wasn’t the best, my friend had the chicken version and the sauce was thick and flavoursome, mine tasted quite bland and gloopy with very overcooked vegetables. The garden is really lovely and our waitress was also great but unfortunately I wouldn’t return here

Our travel advisor arranged for us to have a wine & olive oil pairing tasting at Uje. We found it extremely informative & the wine, olive oil & accompanying food was all excellent. Our hostess led us carefully through each wine & olive oil pairing, helping us distinguish the flavors in each & how they enhanced each other. The wine choices were excellent — all Dalmatian wines that were excellent on their own & also paired well with the olive oil.
