Best Valentines dinner ever with my honey! The drinks were so tasty. Each dish was so delicious and different- from oysters to wagyu, to fried tofu and delectable sushi and sashimi. we were looking for the best Thai food downtown and this place was it. the atmosphere is very open, with great decor and an open kitchen/bar in the center of the room. that being said, it wasn't loud and we were able to have a pleasant conversation seated by the wall. Our server was attentive to our dietary needs (gluten free) and preferences (ultra spicy). she made sure we would get food that we could eat and enjoy and even brought extra spice when requested. the food was tremendous, perfectly cooked noodles and balanced flavor.

If an item is marked GF on your menu (not GFO) it should not contain gluten. I inquired about the flavor of the mole enchiladas marked as gf on the menu. The cashier graciously offered to taste the sauce which was much appreciated. When I went to order it, I confirmed it was gf. Cashier told me the mole sauce I just tasted was recently changed to contain gluten. I’m pretty ticked off the menu was not updated. This is not the cashier's fault, but management should take this more seriously. Very frustrating and not the first time I've had a gluten issue here. On 2 prior occasions I ordered gf corn tortillas with the huevos and was given flour. Laxness around allergens has steered me away from future visits.

Our server was fantastic. I wish I remembered his name to give him a proper shout out! Staff went above and beyond to ensure our dietary needs of gluten free were met. We loved the sake flights. They take time to discuss the sake flight with you while also offering a paper with information. And they do have hot sake it’s just not listed on the menu! We tried many hand rolls, but none of them blew me away except for the wagyu sukiyaki hand roll (which is not gluten free due to the use of soy sauce in the marinade). They put fried shallots in most of the hand rolls which I don’t prefer and think it would be helpful for this to be listed on the menu. I’d recommend the blue cheese bluefin akami nigiri; it’s delicious and not something you find elsewhere. It’s RiNo, so parking sucks. Either pay or take time to find a free parking spot on a side street.

GLUTEN FREE ROLLS ARE NOT CELIAC SAFE! I went in with my partner last week and ordered a gluten free roll, while they ordered one gluten containing. We put a note in the order that there was a gluten allergy and we even went to the counter to tell them to be careful of cross contamination between things gluten containing. Despite this, we watched them put the gluten containing topping on my partners roll and then use the same gloves to put the ginger and wasabi onto my plate. I tried a bite that hadn’t touched the ginger and wasabi and immediately felt a reaction, which means that there was other cross contamination in the kitchen. I ended up being very sick the next day. If you have a severe gluten allergy or celiac, this place is NOT for you. I gave three stars on the food because the bite I had tasted good, but the cost was my digestion.
