They made it so easy for me to know what had gluten. I really really appreciated that they handed me an annotated menu when we got there.
I got the panang curry with shrimp and my fiancé got the beef cheeks. We also shared the tuna laab and khao yum. He still talks about the meal weeks later and has even tried to make the salad and beef at home. I loved the curry and the natural (somewhat sparkling) wine!
We hope to be back again! The courtyard was the perfect atmosphere.
Very nice, clean space. Indoor/outdoor. Friendly staff, great food, wide selection of gluten free items clearly marked on the menu. Best thai restaurant I’ve been to in the burgh.
They can make many of their dishes gluten free, a rarity for Chinese restaurants. Calamari and general tsos are so good you’d never even know they’re GF. This is a staple in my places to eat when I’m in the burgh.
Their food was awesome! The hostess was awesome! Lighting and ambiance is awesome too! It was packed in there on a Thursday evening, but the wait wasn't too long. If you have food allergies, they are very accommodating! Rice noodles if you're avoiding gluten, soy free options if you ask.
Amazing! We loved it so much. Great quality. Very friendly and helpful staff. My sister has celiac and has to be gluten free and they were extremely accommodating and helpful about it. It is very rare unfortunately that she gets that from other restaurants. The food was to die for! I would definitely drive the hour away to go again soon. They also package and bag your leftovers for you! That is awesome! Pricing was very manageable for the quality and quantity.
Loved it! Great food. Family friendly. Gluten-free options. Our family has been coming here since it opened. The restaurant is spacious but has a cozy atmosphere.
I ate for the first time at Pho Van last weekend. I reviewed the gluten free options on the menu with the server. I asked three different times, are you sure this is completely gluten free and was assured it was. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Teriyaki with steam rice. After eating the meal, I immediately started experiencing symptoms from gluten intake. By the end of the evening, I had five hours of intense G.I. issues. I am on day 3, and still in a lot of G.I. pain. I have had Celiac Disease for 9 years and eat completely gluten free. I have never experienced a reaction like this. The most I have ever had from a possible cross contamination is a slight flatulence. I am guessing, the meal was not prepared gluten free. I highly suggest not eating at this restaurant if you have Celiac Disease.

The food was amazing. The location felt a little “exotic” (in a good way) on the third floor of a Lawrenceville block. Our server was absolutely incredible, running through gluten free or gluten risky options and just seemed happy to be serving us. We will 100% go back. The only downside of our experience was the heat. It was a hot summer day and I think the AC was trying to keep up as best it could on a third floor that had a kitchen in it, but we we’re definitely hot! Even so, I still easily give this place 5 stars.
We had the small sukiyaki special which was generous even split among 3, and it was one of the best things I’ve eaten in Pittsburgh. They bring out a cast iron pot over a burner, heaped full of veggies, mushrooms, and flavorful tofu. The broth is incredibly flavorful and gets more and more flavorful with every addition of meat. The servers were incredibly attentive and very sweet. Great for vegetarian and gluten free folks too as the meat and udon noodles are kept to the side and added separately
We were so surprised by the friendliness and professionalism of the service that we now come to eat regularly. It's rare these days to be seen and respected as a guest. The owner obviously attaches great importance to it and the entire team positively enriches the atmosphere. Vegan, gluten-free...everything is possible. Always my pleasure!
Absolutely phenomenal restaurant. The food was incredible and they have a ton a vegan and gluten free options. Even for the dishes that aren't vegan or GF its face, there are options for many to make it compatible. The digital menu and seamless payment made the experience even better. Would definitely recommend.
This is the only Thai restaurant in Pittsburgh that I know of to have Gluten Free options. It makes me so happy that I can eat my favorite food without worrying about being sick! Their pumpkin curry is the best curry I've ever had, and the staff is always very kind. It is my favorite place to order from!
One of the best restaurants you’ll find, and it just happens to be vegan and mostly gluten free. The service is friendly and attentive. The menu is fun and unique and everything we tried was excellent (ordered seconds of the dumplings!). Plates are sharable so you can try a little of a lot of different things. The drink menu is limited but well curated. The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming. Bonus, the bathrooms are stylish! I would visit Pittsburgh again just to eat here.

This is the first time we’ve come without the entire family, and it was just as perfect! I noted on our reservations that it was our anniversary, and it was so sweet to get a Happy Anniversary greeting when we checked in! Plus, we got a glass of Prosecco with our meal! I’m always impressed at the knowledge of the service since I have Celiac’s—it’s always above and beyond letting me know what I can’t have due to gluten. I always feel safe coming here knowing that I won’t be cross-contaminated! As always, a delicious and accessible meal for someone who usually has to worry about going out to eat—thanks so much!
Incredible place to eat downtown and worth the drive if you’re not close. Everything we’ve ever tried here is always top notch. They even have gluten-free options. It’s probably our favorite Japanese spot and ramen spot in the greater Pittsburgh area. I also love how quickly the food is ready if you order to-go.
Highly recommend getting reservations if you go on a weekday during the business lunch rush, it gets slammed.

I think that for an all you can eat place this is very cheap. That being said i don't think this is the best sushi quality I've had. To go even further than that they said that they offered a gluten-free menu but the menu has a lot of crab products and things that have wheat in it so I think that this is counterproductive. The rolls came out fast though. I wouldn't come here again but it was just okay. For lunch I say go for it.

After being seated, I asked for a gluten-free menu. Then the first thing I did was tell the server that we were gluten free, and everything we would be ordering would be gluten free. However, on FIVE different occasions, things with gluten came to our table. First, fried wonton strips to go with the soup. Plus a dipping sauce with gluten. Then more dipping sauce with gluten showed up with our dumplings. Then an order of potstickers (that we didn't order) arrived at our table. And at the end of the meal, after I made a bit of a big deal about all these mistakes, they gave us fortune cookies with our bill. It was horrible. In addition, my cocktail was undrinkable, and even though I took only one sip, the server didn't notice or didn't care to ask me if I didn't like it. The entrees were very tasty, but overpriced. But the way they handled a gluten free table (after being a restaurant that claims to be very gluten friendly) was unacceptable. Will never return.

My husband and I wanted to try somewhere new for our anniversary dinner, and we decided on Soba. From start to finish, our experience was fantastic!
One big plus is their complimentary valet parking—a huge convenience in Shadyside, where street parking can sometimes be tricky. Inside, the atmosphere was clean, stylish, and comfortable, setting the perfect tone for a special night out. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel truly valued.
The menu is clearly marked with vegan and gluten-free options, which made ordering a breeze. The food was delicious, and we appreciated the thoughtful accommodations for different dietary needs. A particularly memorable moment was when our waitress surprised us with a complimentary dessert, complete with an edible “Congratulations” chocolate banner—such a kind and personal touch! While the dessert was vegetarian rather than vegan, making it something I couldn’t personally enjoy, the gesture itself spoke volumes about their level of service.
Soba is on the pricier side, but if you’re looking for an upscale spot for a date night or special occasion, it’s absolutely worth considering. We had a wonderful evening and will definitely be back!

Nice and fresh. Good for midday break from work. Easy in and out. Located in the Oxford Market (lower food court) of the One Oxford Centre building.
No gluten free soy sauce. However, taste is still good.

Yummy food and fantastic customer service. They were accommodating of my gluten allergy and made me feel like they took it seriously. Glad to have found my new favorite Thai food!
Would give them 10 stars out of five if I could. I love My Thai! The owners are wonderful and the food is delicious. They are also very good if you need to eat gluten-free (celiac and never had a reaction). The Pumpkin curry is my absolute favorite and their crab Rangoon are the best in town!
AMAZING. I just got takeout for Valentine's day and it was effing awesome. I'm so happy. Gluten free and vegan labels, which I super appreciate! The sweet potato noodles were fire. The mushrooms melted in my mouth. My husband had the spicy ramen pork belly and loves it. I also ordered some pho bc it's hard to get gluten free pho, and that was also awesome!! I cannot wait to order again and try some more food!

I've seen it a few times and wanted to try it. It was next to where the Argentinian Grill was on the corner. It wasn't the worst wasn't the best. I got the spicy beef pho and it was good but not a whole lot of flavor although was a gluten-free. Does hard to get when they do not use tamari or other gluten free soy. I suggest every restaurant has an option of gluten-free soy or tomorrow for today's Diner make it a better experience
