This is 100% Gluten-free and I loved it. So many options from the food to the drinks. For once I did not have to stress on what to get nor worry about cross contamination. I will be back!!
We are so glad we found Big Mike’s! We’re not even a gluten-free family, but the location was convenient—what a happy surprise! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. But the real standout? The exceptional service. Truly some of the best we’ve ever had. Friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome from start to finish. Can’t wait to come back and try more!
It’s great that options for gluten free are being made but as someone who is Celiac and has had their fair share of Gluten Free items, you can find better tasting desserts in middle of no where places like Scranton, PA. I want to be as constructive as possible in this review because it really is great that there are dedicated GF bakeries for those that are intolerant or Celiac, but that’s the only reason why it’s two stars and not one.
PRICING
I ordered a red velvet and vanilla cupcake and before I could even enjoy my cupcake I was very alarmed when I saw each cupcake rang up as 4 dollars. Again, these are normal sized cupcakes and if anything they are a bit on the smaller size. I understand that this is a niche small business trying to stay afloat but you have to consider that eating gluten free does not mean I have money to waste. Because I have Celiacs, I have no other option but to eat GF but today I decided it would be nice to splurge a little on a cupcake. However, if you are the average person in Miami, you will not be able to justify the cost of a singular cupcake. I’m also going to add on to here that the machine asked automatically for 18%,20%, or 25% tip… for takeout.
TASTE
Vanilla tasted strongly artificial and not pleasant. Red velvet was bitter and mild in every other flavor and was not well balanced with the cream cheese. Texture was gritty on both, more so on the vanilla. Aftertaste is not pleasant and is a somewhat tarty/sour, acidic, and bitter taste.
CONCLUSION
Saying you’re gluten free is not an excuse to make a bad menu item. The recipes are not refined and feel like a first attempt at making a gluten free dessert. Especially at the price range, I do not recommend the average person come here as the food will be subpar for what you pay for. Overall, I am disappointed after having read so many excellent reviews. I will continue to search for better GF options in Miami but I will not come here again. Thanks for spending the time to read this.
Seriously this was the best gluten free stuff I have ever had. I’ve recently been diagnosed with celiac and have struggled to find a bread I enjoy. I came here for challah but left with sour dough bread, cookies, a bagel, cake and banana bread. The owner was so sweet and everyone who worked there was so nice. They have samples of everything. I went with my dad who is not gluten free and he loved it all!
As someone highly allergic to dairy it was exciting to hear that this vegan gluten free bakery opened in the area. Unfortunately it was a bit of a let down. For bakery items my family got cupcakes and donuts. The cupcakes were decent, not dense like a usual gluten free cupcake but there was no flavor to the cake. The vanilla one just tasted plain. The strawberry cheesecake donut had a great icing to it but the donut itself was dense and not like a donut at all. The frozen Katz donuts from the grocery store are better. Each pastry was $6 which seems overpriced for a barely mediocre dessert and they are not huge either. We took home the blueberry waffles($12 for a whole waffle which was cut up into 1/4 sections) , they are ok. The flavor tasted like a normal blueberry waffle and the texture was ok. Very average waffle. The mac and cheese ($16 for 2 servings) I got was very off putting. The cheese flavor was good, comparable to follow your heart brand but the noodles were awful, I made sure not to overheat it but somehow they came out very chewy. I want to give this place another go but am hesitant to due to the price point and a poor first impression.
I have had a lot of Key Lime pies over the years and this is one of the best and… it’s gluten free.
My wife and I also love the Vegan cakes. This is a go to spot!!
Amazing!!! Many gluten free options that tasted like normal desserts and priced fair. Their gf key lime pie is the best I’ve ever had (even better than non gf)! My husband had the normal key lime pie and also said it was the best he’s ever had. We each had a cheesecake slice as well. Additionally, the shop was absolutely adorable. If you’re visiting the keys, you must stop here for ice cream, a baked treat or a cute gift or keepsake!
Gluten free options. Bakery and food. Had the vegan gf Buddha bowl salad. Everything was delicious. Will be back. Took home some baked gluten free bread.
Came in with my husband for his birthday to treat him. The owner is so kind and knowledgeable about everything gluten free. The desserts were absolutely amazing and you genuinely couldn’t even tell they were gluten. Made my husband’s (who is a huge sweet tooth) whole day as we are from a small town with no gluten free options and are both celiac. Super grateful for this bakery and we will definitely be returning.
YOU WIN!! Congratulations, you found the best gf baker in south Florida. She also needs help in the kitchen, if you know anyone looking for a job baking , contact her, she nailed it. Learn from her, support her, eat her delicious breads, be happy . Let’s her her business to fly, and franchise
I love everything about this place. As somebody who eats gluten and dairy free, it’s always so easy to find stuff to eat on the menu. Did I mention all of it is ridiculously delicious? The staff is friendly and the service is quick. 10/10 would recommend
Absolutely amazing. The food is great, the workers are amazing, the place is great. I absolutely would recommend coming in whether you can’t have gluten or just want a tasty treat!
Funky, fun coffee shop/cafe with many vegan, gluten free and keto options. The breakfast plate for 2 was delicious and literally could feed 4! Can’t wait to come back and try an arepa or smoothie! The no sugar chocolate donut and cinnamon roll were both delicious.
Believe. The. Hype.
Pastry Power has officially blown my gluten-free mind. I just demolished one of their cinnamon rolls and, THANKFULLY, had the foresight (and a healthy fear of regret) to order two. This place is an absolute must-order for any GF Disney traveler.
They deliver straight to your hotel. The owner is super responsive, friendly, and her customer service is top-notch. My tip? Order well in advance and schedule delivery for day 1 or 2 of your trip—because once you taste it, you’ll wish you had it your whole stay.
For those of you who live in Orlando, you are BLESSED.
It was a treat for my little one to walk into a place and pick what ever he wanted. He usually has to settle for dairy& gluten free option, if they have one. Thank you!!!
Awesome food. Been here two days in a row and it’s really a great place. Today I had a smoothie and avocado toast on gluten free bread - tastes amazing! Staff super friendly as well! Thank you!
Gluten free key lime pie (!!!) that tasted GOOD. Sometimes gf is not yummy and I have celiac disease so no choice. We bought a pie and brought it back to our hotel to eat over the 4 days we spent in Key West.
I have been to this store twice this week and I can say this is top tier the deserts beautiful and taste delicious my kids normally don’t like my gluten free foods but now we are double fisting these delicious treats the guilt free and safe foods I can enjoy
Amazing place. With safe coeliac treats made by the owners who have coeliac disease. We travelled for vacation from the U.K., and my son who is coeliac had so many things to choose from so he wasn’t feeling left out with the vacation treats
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Cupcake heaven with a serious espresso game!”
Omg — I’m obsessed! Their espresso is incredible — seriously, way smoother and richer than Starbucks. You can tell they use a higher-quality grind. The brownie was next-level, super fudgy and flavorful.
What really stood out to me is how inclusive they are — they offer vegan and gluten-free options that actually taste amazing. And don’t even get me started on the cupcake selection.
Jennie is such a friendly face to encounter when entering. Her energy is positively upbeat when sharing her favorites on the menu. Although I stopped in to grab a menu, I still managed to grab a Persistence of Spice cookie. It had the ideal balance and blend of spices and sweetness. The texture was dreamy too. Great care is taken to label and identify items in the case for individuals that may have dietary restrictions. Whether you are looking for gluten free pastries or a very tasty alternative to processed foods-you will be absolutely astounded by the quality that is delivered by the nature bakery. The space is charming and very inviting. Hoping to sit down with my husband to enjoy something from their breakfast or lunch menu soon. Thank you Jennie and Jacq for providing the community with a delicious pantry of pastries, bread and delights.

Cafe Vert has become our go-to spot for family breakfast ! This family-run restaurant serves authentic French breakfast with the best vibes. What we love most is their extensive gluten-free menu, which caters perfectly to our needs since our whole family avoids gluten. The food is consistently delicious, and the atmosphere is both warm and welcoming. Highly recommend!
My wife and I absolutely adore Lala and the rest of the staff here, I feel 100% safe eating here with celiacs disease. The food tastes so amazing and it’s such a warm and inviting atmosphere.
We drop by at least once a week for a sweet treat.
Wonderful little local bakery that has gluten free options in separate case, and great gluten free options. I loved the gluten free breakfast burrito, and gluten free lemon square (we went multiple times). My family enjoyed the donuts and massive apple fritter. It’s a cute and quaint little shop with friendly outdoor seating. The employees seemed a little stressed, so please be kind to these hard working people who are busy feeding all of 30a. We hope they are here for a long time.
Really great spot! Their pastries, pies, and cakes are delicious, so many flavors. Argentinian specialties like empanadas and alfajores are fantastic. They have a lot of gluten free options, plus pretty much any coffee flavor you can imagine.
The staff is super friendly and it has a nice local feel. Good for working alone (WiFi works well) or groups since there’s plenty of seating.
Highly recommend!!
I ordered an iced latte with the maple and brown sugar syrup and oat milk. I also got the gluten free chocolate whoopie pie. Both were absolutely fantastic! I liked that they explicitly had it as an option to order without ice. Will definitely order from here again!

While passing through on our way to Marathon, I was starving and looking for a place that could accommodate my gluten and dairy allergies—definitely a challenge when traveling! After a quick search on Google, I found Coco Plum and decided to give it a try.
When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by the cozy, homey atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly, and you could browse their charming little boutique while waiting for your food.
I ordered the gluten-free vegan wrap, and it was HUGE! Not only was it delicious, but it came with a generous side of freshly cut fruit. The price was incredibly reasonable, especially considering the portion size and quality.
If you're looking for great vegan and gluten-free options, this place is a must-visit! I’ll definitely be back the next time I'm in the area. The food and overall experience was top notch!
I buy the keto cookies & brownies which are all delicious. I've also bought 3 different gluten free desserts for a great nephew who thinks they are really good. Great job!
I am quite disappointed. I went on my lunch break specifically to buy the gluten-free donuts, only to find the store closed. There was no prior notice about the store going out of business.

So friendly and helpful. Had gluten free options. Was able to get a decaf espresso Americano. Prices were reasonable. Only issue was I wish they were open later. Wanted another coffee. Have to wait until 7am tomorrow...LoL

Yummy ice cream and super fun atmosphere. Good prices and fast lines with friendly service. I loved my cookie dough and my friend loved her gluten free chocolate chip cookie.
Best gluten free bakery ever!!! Such a hidden gem. We are so grateful to get to enjoy such great treats from Claudia for our son’s birthday. We have 5 boys who gave her moist gluten free strawberry cake “the best cake they’ve ever had”!
We also tried her cake pops and flan. All delicious. Thank you Claudia!
