WAY too expensive. Brioche, eclair, and iced coffee were good, but there’s no way to justify the price, especially after eating at many gluten-free restaurants around NYC.

This is a 100% GF bakery and coffee shop. I was so excited to get a cinnamon roll! I wish I had gotten a blueberry muffin to go! Next time for sure! They also have a restaurant down the street! They only take cash or AMEX so be prepared.

These are the best grain-free baked goods in the city. Relative to mass-produced, grain-based desserts they are slightly more expensive, but I think it's worth every penny. Most gluten-free bakeries use rice flour or other grains. These are easy to digest, vegan, gluten free, adaptogenic treats that put other "healthy" bakeries to shame. And it's GOOD. Like "coworkers eating stuff I leave in the fridge" good. My only complaint is that there isn't a Love Bakery on every corner open 24/7.

My daughter and I had dinner at City Cafe last evening and it was absolutely amazing! McKenzie, our server, couldn't have been kinder. Her service was spot on. We started with the brussels sprouts. They were so good we ordered another bowl. We both had the Black Berry/lime chicken dish, which blew us away. It was perfect. Being gluten intolerant, I didn't have to keep asking McKenzie what was safe to eat, which was an added bonus. The atmosphere is so quaint; not too big, not too small, and it is decorated so nicely. I can't wait to go back again. It is my new "go too" place to eat.

Great gluten free bakery. Recently bought strawberry shortcake for my celiac son’s birthday and it was very good. I also like their bagels and rolls.

I have waited a long time to write this (I've been in the neighborhood ten years) but it's kinda at that point. The amount of times I have to return because it's not a gluten free bagel, the wrong kind of bagel or cream cheese is 3/3 for the past week. In the past they have used the wrong bread for sandwiches and thankfully I'm well aware what normal bread is like. All I ask is the staff and kitchen take it more seriously or just stop offering gluten free like they aren't putting customers like myself at severe risk. Every time I order here I inspect what I get and if you are gluten free and ordering anything from the kitchen, I advise you do too. After ten years though, I still love the place. This is just a liability that I feel needs to be addressed.

We stopped in for lunch. The sandwiches and wraps that we ordered were fantastic! All were made fresh. Great place for gluten free eats! Highly recommended.
