The beer was good. The service was good. Unfortunately the food was not good. We came for the gluten free fish and chips. They were heavily deep fried and over cooked with a tiny thin layer of fish. Worst fish ever. The calamari was good and fried well so why was the fish over done? They did remove the charge but dinner was a disappointment.

Celiac friendly bar. Dedicated fryer for gluten free with lots of options. Nice layouts for sports viewing in the bar area and indoor picnic table seating area. Also an indoor games corner and outdoor seating area

Great all around. We came here as we had a celiac in the group and almost everything on the menu was gf. Everything was delicious, big menu, great desserts, and our server was very nice.

Came in for breakfast on a big pow day which kept the number of customers down which was nice. Staff were only too happy to cater for non gluten eater well as a picky eating child. Food was hot and tasty and the drinks were warm and comforting. Would recommend.

LOVED the food here! I am celiac and they were able to really cater to gluten free options. I got the beef taco bowl with the dirty rice and it was delicious!! I also didn't get sick so I would reccomend this place to other celiacs. Our server was really lovely and friendly, and she helped to explain the menu and how different items could be altered for me. I didn't get her name, but she is from Germany and I'd love for The Taco Club to know what an excellent job she does! Highly recommend!!

Weather you are Vegan or Vegetarian or neither, like me, this restaurant is an amazing experience accompanied by awesome food. As someone with Celiac Disease they are extremely accommodating. They even have their own Gluten-Free fryer so all can experience there incredible Chickpea Fries. I recommend this restaurant to anybody looking for a wonderful meal!

Red Robins, Kamloops has the best gluten free buns of any burger place I have been to. I never feel deprived for having food sensitivities at this restaurant. We also recently had part of our daughters birthday party here and Jordanne (server) and Nyree (Manager) were so accommodating. The kids menu has so much choice, the bottomless drinks are a hit, and the hot cookie to go always makes the visit for my kids. Thank you for such a great visit.

Excellent servers, so helpful and friendly! Our daughter has Celiac and enjoyed the steak and chicken fajitas - they were very accommodating of her allergy and said that almost all of their menu can be gluten free! Everything was delicious!

Really nice place to relax with a few drinks. Didn't have any food as we had just come from a café but we did get a flight and oh my god. I need to go back to get more if that blueberry basil. Until I do it will stay in my dreams, Highly recommend checking it out. They had indoor outdoor seating. Their menu had things marked as Gluten Free although since we didn't order im not sure if they have a designated fryer or not. Thankyou for the wonderful service staff, you were all so nice 😊

The food was great! Ocean view on a quiet golf course setting. Most restaurants only offer a few gluten free options and charge extra. Off the Hook has a full gluten free menu so it doesn’t limit my choices. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Thanks Cori for a great evening!

This place is one of the best restaurants we've been to in a while. Everything we had was fantastic: Beef tenderloin carpaccio, smoked chicken penne, pan seared miso halibut, blackened creole chicken. My wife has celiac and they have a lot of options. The gluten free penne was probably the best GF pasta she has tried. We also had a few cocktails and they were all well made. Earl Grey Martini was a stand out for me. Our server was very nice and accommodating as well and service was very fast.

Really enjoyed this place. Manager was lovely. Very accommodating to gf options but have your wits about you as I see other people have had reactions from here. Does indeed have a separate gf fryer and happy to accommodate different sauce in burger as ‘Special Sauce’ has Worcestershire sauce in it (ie not gf) Thought paying $4 extra for gf bun was a bit steep but overall good place, lovely server and great vibes (especially music)

We came here for breakfast and I am celiac, and had the French toast with berries. It was delicious and I didn't get sick! So many items on the menu can be substituted for gluten free bread. I was very impressed and would recommend to other celiacs!!

I had SOME expectations when coming here for a date night with my husband. Extremely disappointing. We sat down near the bar, and quickly realized how suffocating the area was. Our waiter, who didn't introduce himself, turned it on just after we asked why the air was so dense. The waiter, who never introduced himself by the way, offered no timely service. We had longbreaks between drinks appetizers and main course. He was standing just near the bar so he could see We had empty glasses and plates, but there was lack of interest. Then came time to order the main course and I was asked which sauces I'd like with my fries. I chose truffle and it cost me extra without me knowing I was purchasing some additions. Appetizers, we got the fritters which was pretty good! But the gluten burger was just mediocre. When it came to the bill, the waiter pressurized us to stop eating and make the payment. I have seen this before in other restaurants but waiters are very careful when disrupting a meal to get a payment thru. I dont recommend this place simply because the owner doesn't seem to be around so the waiter seems to think he doesn't need to do his job. There was one female waiter as well(dont know her namw), but just to be clear she was the only good thing about this restaurant. She was kind, responsive, and showed some interest. If this place stays afloat it's due to the appetizers and the nice young lady who picked up the slack.

Decided on a whim to try this place while visiting my mom. Mom is in a wheelchair and requires allergy-friendly options. We were pleasantly surprised to find several allergy-friendly foods including fries, which are fried in a separate fryer from seafood and also separate for gluten-free dishes. Our server, Julie was fantastic and had great recommendations. Highly recommended! Ps. Try the Wagyu Beef Ravioli! Delicious.

Our server Kaitlin was very nice and accommodated our gluten free request! The seafood linguine was very good too. Lobster was a little tasteless but the salmon and shrimp was delicious. Nice atmosphere too, would go again!!

My family and I had a great experience. With the exception of root beer, there was something on the menu for all of us. A lot of gluten free options as well as Vegan and plant based. Good healthy and delicious options as well. And then there was the burgers that were very satisfying. Really nice restaurant. Option of sitting where it's quiet or in the lounge where there's a great social vibe going on.

We came around lunch and had a great experience. Our server was wonderful — super friendly, great with the kids, and really took the time to make us feel welcome. They were also very knowledgeable and accommodating about celiac, offering plenty of gluten-free options without any hesitation. The food was delicious across the board, and the patio was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the meal. We’ll definitely be back!

Delicious food, great service and a really positive energetic vibe. IMO, this is the best place for dinner in Sooke. The food was fresh and there were vegan and gluten free options. Portion sizes and prices were very reasonable for the delicious food we got. We will be back again, the next time we're visiting Sooke!!!

One of the healthiest delicious middle eastern food I have had in a while! I was a bit hesitant to visit due to mixed reviews here and I am so happy I listened to my instincts and visited this gem of a restaurant today. The service and food was beyond incredible! The restaurant is so cozy and spacious. Ample street parking available and my sister has celiac allergy for diary and gluten, so we were also able to get customized food based on her restrictions.

Great place for those with celiac disease or a gluten allergy. I received GF bread and many of the dishes are or can be made GF. They have GF appetizers, pasta, risotto and GF dessert. The service was great.

I’ve always loved coming here. Today was probably my 6th-8th visit, and I can say with confidence that Hello Nori is very consistent. The yellowtail hand roll with Shiso leaf added is my favourite. The by the glass sake options are great and they all pair well with the rolls. Lisa was my server today and she was excellent. She checked in lots and made sure that the chef was aware of my gluten intolerance. Gold star for Hello Nori, I will be back!
